I saw this video a few times. Finally got up the nerve to make one (I had been promising my daughter one for a while) and it turned out beautiful! I added handles for her to carry it. I got 3 orders as soon as she posted it on Facebook LOL. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It has helped many of us years later.

What an awesome video and bag. I really like the envelope design. I don't like straps on my computer bag. I feel that having my computer hang from my shoulder leaves room for damage and possible theft. But again... preference is key. This design is perfect for me. I actually have another bag that I insert the protected computer if I want but I also like carrying my computer like a book. The extra pocket is fabulous. I teach online and travel a lot. This is perfect. Thank you

You have some of the best tutorials. They are easy to follow even for a beginner. Do you think that some SF101 would be good for the lining? Another thing is to go ahead and trim the flap edge before you assemble. This is a nice gift for a graduate. Thanks again for sharing.

For the rounded corners I learned to pin the layers and mark both sides with the help of a glass or mug using a pencil.

I think your video is great! You give very clear instructions and you are easy to understand. I am a beginner sewer and I was able to make this computer case with your video. My daughter just went away to college and I made her one of these cases yesterday. I can't wait to send it to her! I do have one question about the soft and stable. In your video you said you fused it to the fabric but I couldn't find "fusible" soft and stable. I wound up quilting it to my material which worked out but I was wondering if they actually make it fusible?

Whew! I made one. This was my first zipper. The project was a little too thick for my machine and I broke a needle sewing over the zipper, but I made it.
I will use Velcro on the two sides of the flap and probably a large decorative button in the center to close it.

I purchased a walking foot. I think this will make the next one i my simpler to do
