Im about half way thru the video as i comment. Very very cool so far. I like the narration. Even if you sound like you just walked 50 miles up hill both ways😂😂😂. Because you probably did!! Freakin badass man, finishing watching now 💪💪🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great video, 30 year bowhunter here but never grizzly .. ive watched every grizzly video on UA-cam and have never seen the guide in front of the shooter. I really feel like that would add so much more to an already intense moment. That being said ill probably never be able to afford a grizz hunt anyway so i wont have to worry. 🤣 great job
Thanks for watching….yeah there’s no one right way, usually I’m behind the hunter but if we don’t see the bear and he’s moving I usually like to take point man just in case the bear charges I don’t have to shoot from behind the bowhunter for obvious reasons…I’m NEVER in front when I have a rifle hunter! Never say never you might get a chance to hunt grizz!
Your best one yet! I am bowhunting the ABC islands in the fall for brown bear and your videos have been a great resource for information and getting me pumped up! Thanks!
Great job! I don’t normally watch an entire video. But the story plays out, puts you rate there experiencing the drama and adrenaline! I really enjoy the video! Hunter great shot way to hold it together! That’s close! Guide Timmy awesome job
@@amarotovar7256 I was thinking the same thing. As a hunter, if I’m willing to try to kill a dangerous animal, then I would be willing to be killed trying. I wouldn’t want to shoot past the guide.
I know a lot of people like to shoot mechanical heads for black bear. Is it not recommended for grizzly bear? Just curious on your thoughts and experience Tim.
Yeah good question, I’m not a mechanical broadhead hater and I do know some guys that have taken Grizzly and brown bears with mechanical broadheads but generally I recommend fixed blade with replacement blades like slick tricks or muzzys etc…fixed blades are better for angled shots and if it’s a little brushy staling with an arrow on the rest.
great video, and commentary , and I have seen a lot of guides on videos take the lead in a stock on bears and other animals , as a matter of fact I have seen Billy Molls do the same , he takes the lead , thank you for sharing congratulations on a beautiful Bear and what a great shot , lucky one shot did the job. great job Mike , you guys are living the dream of many who would have like to do what you do ,
Dont worry about your talking the fact that your hunter carried his arrow for 30 plus yards not ready to go full draw pissed me off. Almost didnt finish watching what an idiot to just carry the arrow in his free hand
@Timmy you would probably get way more views if you just stop talking. You have good content but I literally fast forward through 90 %. of all your videos cause of your constant talking all the time. Show the environment shoot some B roll literally anything than straight talking through the entire video. I don't say this to be mean, but many folks I have talked to about your stuff say the same thing. Honest feedback do what you will with it. Congrats to your hunter
I have to disagree with you. I like when the person doing the video narrates, talking about what's going on and other things that have to do with the video. Everyone's different, but I get more out of the video that way, too.
I actually really like the step by step narration. I've never bear hunted, Timmy has hundreds if not thousands of times. I'm learning a lot. His voice isn't annoying, a bit slow in this one but that's ok. This shit is badass. To each their own but I have to disagree. The narration is really cool in this one.
Hey Timmy, this presentation was very good. Keep doing things however you want, if someone doesn't like what you're doing, that's on them...keep up the good work!
no an alaskan Brown Bear is no a Grissly, Brown Bear are bigger , closer to the size of a polar bear and the noses are different also and a shorter neck , also grisslys and Brown Bear do not mate , learn th diffence if you ever plan to hunt either species ,
You’re the best Mr. Winslow! Just pure awesome content and story telling!
That’s very kind of you…I’m not used to positive vibes it eh comments 😂
Best hunter
Crazy how some bears run and others are fearless. Great video!
I thoroughly enjoyed the video. The narration made me feel calm but excited for what came next. It was like listening to a hunting story audiobook
Thanks for the good vibes 🤙
Good job Tim, I really enjoyed it, good job.

you'd never catch me sitting in front of a bowhunter, ESPECIALLY not in that wind.
Love the narration, and yes hunting is 90% sweat and boredom and 10% exilleration. Good video.

Dang, that is a heart thumper !!!👍
Finally!!! I can see what it's really like to stalk a bear. Thank you so much for bringing me along on your hunt. Excellent guiding!!
Love ya videos mate, watch them all. Definitely on the bucket list from down in Australia
Bottom pin is 20 wth, why in the world would you place yourself in front of the shooter and that broadhead….
@@timmywinslow yeah he definitely can eat you, the shooter should be prepared for that

Fantastic hunt and commentary!
Do you have any foot care videos for hunters? Awesome adventure!
What an awesome show!!! This is still my number 1 hunt! Do you like this hunt better than the float trip? I still plan on going with you my man!

Is it just me or is cooking in your tent not recommended in grizzly country? Just curious
BRILLIANT
Are the bears killed to control population or for a food source?
Both

Agree. I prefer most videos with just the sounds of nature and the wild. Hate music in them too.
Nice
