It's finally time to start setting up shop in my barn and I wanted to start by moving my welding table from our farm shop. I've gotten a lot of questions about my welding table and I thought this would be a good opportunity to do a video on it. I start by resurfacing the table top and chipping off any slag or splatter from welding. Once it's cleaned up, I give it a coat of oil to protect it and keep splatter from sticking in the future. Using the farm's skidsteer, I start off down the road with the table headed for the barn. Along the way, I swing in to a gravel pit to do some quick calculations on how much the table weighs. Then it's down the road again to my barn and I get it set up where I've pictured it going all along.
This video is more calming than a Japanese garden.
@Georgianna Schiess Ayy to the person who controls this account (bot acc) you forgot to edit it to make it sound more legit lol u suck
SO basically the video is about moving a table, and you made an 8 min video of a really entertaining story! NICE!
Wen you tell your wife that you got a new kitchen table but first I need to pour footings for it.
I am one of the guys who asked about it. It's a awesome table! Thanks for sharing and congrats on the engagement!
Man, that thing is a beast. Looks great in the barn.
Best table move video ever!!!
Love your videos, keep them coming! Your barn is my absolute dream shop. I love the shots out in the country, you guys live a peaceful life for sure!
Having grown up on a farm and one grandad a welder, your projects are amazing!! Always look forward to your videos. You are an amazing craftsman ⚒🗜🚜. Keep videos coming 👊🏼💪🏼
Your videos are getting even more and more entertaining, good job! One of the most underappreciated channels on youtube
Really enjoy this channel. The level of detail and attention you put in your work is amazing!
Yeah, that I-5 traffic can be aggravating on a skid steer.
Ive driven milling mechines down Route 80 about20 min from nyc lol
Love your videos. Looking forward to projects from the barn!
The shop and setting is fantastic.
I work for an engineering company and right now I'm operating a stiff leg inside of a house to drive steel piles into the bay because this house is literally built on the shore over Cinco Bayou. Well we were just talking about a way to make it easier to manhandle this stiff leg around and you just showed me, turn that tall heavy ting into a dolly. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have no idea of the amount of man hours and grunts and moans you've just saved.
Always amazed by your creations!
Another great project.
Thanks 😎
love your channel, very inspiring for this old guy I can relive my youth thru you , thanks again
Brilliant build, beautiful photography, excellent narrative, perfect timing (jokes), and Drake the wonder dog.
Absolutely love watching your progress. Keep up the good work.
The barn doors are a work of art.
Awesome table....another high quality video...enjoyed!!
Absolutely love the videos. The barn is shaping up nice!
I always upvote Rainfall Projects
That's the coolest welding bench I've seen in a long time! Good job!
That math bit had me in stitches. Watching some of your old videos again to give me ideas for my downtime at the shop now. Be well!
You & Drake are two of my all time favorites.
Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks so much.

How can you make moving a table a relaxing, soothing, beautiful story? I don't understand. Haha. You're amazing.
Waiting in a two hour line to dump soybeans at the elevator. This video was a true blessing.
Loved the math. When you sprayed that WD40 I could smell it all the way over here in my imagination. Your videos are definitely a favorite of mine. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I LOVE it when I see a recommended video that intrigues me and after watching it I find myself a new channel to watch videos from! SUBSCRIBED! By the way you sure make good stuff! I have been around some fairly nice welding tables in my years but that one is probably the best... it's certainly the heaviest!
I love your videos, dude. They're always so fun and relaxing to watch.
That is the sweetest welding table ever ... super nice job!
Nice video, good planning (floor electric). Got some great ideas for my shop. I'm tru
ly envious of that barn!! Thanks
Man that's awesome....hard not to be a little jealous. Real nice set up.
Ahhh man... You have HUGE talent. And an awesome shop
Nice table! And nice barn too!
I've only watched a few of your vids, that was enough for me to subscribe.
Really like your new little barn
Always a good morning when a Rainfall Project vid shows up in my basket...
I'm just going to repeat what I say on every video you make... you and your video's (ow and don't forget Drake) are awesome!
Dude the barn is looking superb you must be so chuffed, say hi to drake for me Cheers Blaisey
At my work in a fab shop, we have a 8'x20' welding table with 3 outlets on either long sides, with an overhead welder on a jig that swings over the entire table. The top is 1" plate with 14" beams as the table frame. It has two big fixed wheels towards one end and two flat bed trailer jack on the other as a leveling ability. That is the ultimate table.
Awesome footage. Really enjoyed this one.
Nice job on your welding table. Great workshop space. I enjoy your vids.
Awesome videos!! Love your filming style fantastic quality mate!! 👍👌👏
Just what I needed this morning!
Just what I needed this evening! Greetings from the other side of earth.
could you do a full review of the farm? always thought that the barn shop where on the same farm as your new barn. would love to see the whole farm. Great video
Definitely can tell you have 3 months of snow and plenty of time to burn during those months.
Really like you caster design, that is a brilliant idea!
The shop table of my DREAMS!
Wow, that was a great video as always! Thank you!
Dude! Awesome Barn. Table Is Awesome Also. Good Luck and God Bless
You could make zero clearance covers for the slots by having two pieces of metal expanding on a bolt, kinda like how adjustable parallels work but with a simple cam lock system. They don't even need to be made out of something heavy duty, simple sheet metal for the top and two cam locks on the bottom with a hex screw to reach in for the action.
Idea seen used in the milling industry on big multi ton milling machines. When they want to cover T slots for a level table they have the heavy duty version that almost look like half cuts of train rails :)
What an absolute unit
You have great videos and cover a wide range of projects and definitely have a knack for filming. I love that you choose to fix everything that beaks as apposed to hiring someone to do the work or replacing it with an inferior new part or piece of equipment. I assume that quality comes from your parents and grandparents. One of the greatest parts of your channel is when you give us a peek into the farming world and what it takes to bring food to our tables. I have some close friend in Nebraska who farm corn, soy, cattle and pigs. I got an up close tour of their farm and all the equipment it takes to to harvest a crop. Truly amazing! I think all the people in our awesome country need to know how much hard work it takes to bring food to our families. Every farmer I met was college educated, extremely intelligent, devoted to there work and all around great patriotic people (and beer love'n). I was wondering if you could do a video tour of your farm? Where it's located in Oregon (drone footage), what you grow, all your equipment and the all people it takes to run your farm and possibly the future of the farm. Thanks again and keep up the good work and great videos!
One heck of a table!
Wow.
Looks like my table but mine has 3/4 inch plates joined together with a honeycomb of steel. It is 4 ft by 8 ft. It uses heavy i-beams for legs.
Really like your idea for the casters.
I don't think I could move mine with casters.
Oh, bought it on craigslist for $400. A steal.
Anyway, keep sharing and doing the honest work. Not enough people do that anymore.
Man, that is a sweet table. Nice job!!
I love your welding table!
It's great to see what This Old Tony looks like after all this time!
Damm, that is one nice barn, and the table is great as well!
Really channeling some this old tony in this video
elegant table, and well deserving of your space
Another great video!
More videos man! You’re amazing!
Nice!!! There nothing like a good welding/shop table.....!!!
I love that table.
Happy to see you are back with entertaining /informative vids. Loved your take on "new math" to determine the table weight! (Former math teacher here) Keep up the great work!
Yes, close enough to a ton! LOL
Nice tumbnail. Interesting to see how you combine moving the table with the build and a little story byside ( weight ).
Love your projects.
Greetings from Germany, Arne
Looks like the skid steer is getting part of your story like the squirrel in ice age :D
Brother, I have got some serious work shop envy. That table, I don't know if I could weld on that, to nice, I'd probably just charge admission so new welder could just touch it in awe.
Love your back door entry to figuring total weight. Lol..
i love this channel
Damn u have awesome videos brother! That barn! Omg!!! Thats the shop of my dreams!!! Great table! 👍👍
its getting so cool! little tip though: maybe shield the wooden beams behind the table with some metal to avoid burn marks and possible ignition from weld sparks ?!
How do you have so little subs? Your work, narrating and edit is all amazing. Thanks for sharing your great work with us!
Very cool. I like the plasma cutting holes. I think it's over built though. I've got by with 1/4" plate, 1/2" would have been nice especially when securing a heavy duty bench vise on the top.
Nice welding table!
I love it a ton!!
That is awesome bud
Awesome video and tabel!:D
Good looking dog. You sir are living my dream.
one day you should do a barn tour video it looks amazing !
this is going to be one of the best barns on the planet
nice mechanism for the casters Ill be using that idea
Now its the new beer table😁👍🏻
Not even Jethro Bodine could have out done yer figurin' n cypherin'. What a hoot!
looks great
In our high school auto shop we spray Wd-40 all over it then wire wheel it. It gets a cool semi gloss coating on it and they have never rusted.
that thing is awesome
Thing looks immaculate
I'm loving the videos, keep up the good work! Is there any chance we could get a tour of the barn just to get an idea of where everything sits? My girlfriend loves the look and I would love for her to be able to see the whole layout. Thanks for the great content!
New subscriber. Love your videos.
now that's a beast
Very cool!
Very nice work table p.s barns cool too
There is "overkill" and then there is "OVERKILL"! Tables you can't move, I think they call them foundations!
Your Barn/Shop is shaping up very nicely. How far is it from the Shop to the new Barn? Great video, once again.
I like the dining room table idea.
I never knew how Common Core Math could be used in the Real World !!! Every 4th Grader should watch this to show the practical application of Common Core !!!
???
sigh Americans and their common core math..
Darn public school only taught me to subtract 9000 from the 10080, to get 1080lbs. But your way seems more accurate and fun lol. Great vid
Hug your mum mate, I lost mine on the 18th. Mums are the best
Yep. It's home. Great table. How do those casters work again?
Nice table. Just found your channel also.
stunning , subbed
The 898KG welding table* :) love it.
