Remove a water bottle cap withouth breaking the seal

- So if you're trying to sneak alcohol onto a cruise in a water bottle you'll need to remove the cap without breaking the seal. To do this you'll need some boiling water, a bowl, pliers, scissors, and a knife.
Once you've got your sealed top off your cut up bottle empty another bottle of the same size like normal (by drinking it or dumping it out) and cut the existing quality ring off. Fill the bottle with your clear liquor of choice and screw on the sealed top.
This was a real impromptu video that I made in the middle of the night. I know I left out some steps for finishing up the job, but hopefully common sense will guide you the rest of the way.
Did you ever hear the tale of Darth Icfusion the intoxicated? I thought not, it's not a tale the cruise lines would tell you. Darth Icfusion was a dark lord of alcohol, so sneaky, and so wise, he could sneak alcoholic beverages into any event and get wasted. He was so sneaky, he could put vodka in a water bottle without breaking the seal. The drunk side of the cruise is a pathway to many abilities many consider to be unnatural. He became so intoxicated, the only thing he feared was getting a hangover, which, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his friends everything he knew, then, they snuck too much alcohol into a sporting event. Ironic, he could sneak beverages into events, but he couldn't walk out.

I boiled the water in a pan on the stove and put the cap in that. Saves a step and keeps the water a bit hotter.

Here's an important tip, buy water bottles with nice and thick caps, like the ones used in the video. It's harder to take off caps for water bottles that have smaller caps.
thanks for the tip. I paid 1.99 for a six pack of water. i kept the plastic wrapper in good condition. i did exactly what you did and the cap came off with no problem. this is a lot cheaper than camocaps and the the caps look great.

thanks brother! I just got back from a cruise this week and was able to get 2- 2 liter aquafina bottles of vodka on board. you are my hero. oh, and I used some white elmers glue because there was a small split in an area between the seal and the cap. airtight

Used this on a cruise (that is notorious for booze-strictness) last week and we got in well over a hundred dollars worth of liquor with flying colors. Not only does it work, but it looks so legit that it buys you tons of peace of mind knowing you're going to sail through without issue.

I drink Propel flavored water, and it bubbles a little when you shake it, unlike regular plain water...I just tried this with those bottles and it was SO easy!!! I am so excited to find this video, it's gonna save me a ton on my upcoming cruise!!!! :-))))

I think you can do this by taking a whole water bottle, then sticking the top part in hot water, that way you use less bottles. I dont know though, I will experiment different ways to see if you can do this.

I didn't have much luck with this maybe I didn't wait long enough but I tried with a nail clipper the one that has that metal file in stern and I wedged that between the bottle cap went around several times and got it to work without the need to boil water
We used to put peppermint schnapps in a mouthwash bottle and use food coloring to match the original color.
I haven't experimented with it, but I bet if you mixed in some corn syrup in the right amount with the liquor you could probably pass the bubble test. Or maybe unflavored gelatin, and a little water after heating it.

this works. but seriously make sure the water is boiling while you do it - makes it easier. also wear glasses to protect your eyes as you could splash boiling water into your face.
@gutturtle You need to check the cruise guidelines. Some ships will not let you take water or soda on board either. The reason for this is the same as liquor, MONEY. $3-5 per bottle for water on board. Some places like Carnival will let you take one small (6 pack) case of water on the 1st day only. Honestly the easiest way to get liquor on is to put it in your cargo pants pocket. Security is only allowed to put you through a metal detector, so get pint bottles and just walk through.no metal caps
This seems better and easier than the mouth wash method
actually, i used a butter knife. there is less chance of cutting the cap.

The only problem is that they shake water containers when they see them in your luggage. Alcohol produces bubbles that hang around in the bottle. Water does not. I used to check for alcohol on NCL.
@Avoiderthepker To sneak alcohol into events that normally wouldn't allow it. A sealed bottle isn't suspicious.

@ShipMonster ---I hear ya. My wife and I did Carnival a year ago. We took a Case of H2O, a 2 liter Coke and 2 bottles of wine ( 1 each is allowed). I like the "James Bond" aspect as much as the alcohol.
If you caught someone w/ alcohol, in any fashion, did you kick them off, or just take the alcohol?

I walked in my kitchen just to get water and I opened it but it felt tough and had the fizzy noise that a soda would make when open and when I looked, I opened it without removing the seal which was strange because ive never seen anything like it be done

Kelsey Non Sequitur When I did mine, I did as soon as I pulled it off the stove, still in the pot, sitting in the sink in case of a spill. If you wait till it's cool, you wouldn't need to heat it to begin with.
