This is the only instructional video I could find for the highly recommended iron owl. Clear, concise, helpful! Thank you!

I have installed two on the house, and one on my chicken coop. I used 3 heavy duty commercial stainless steel hoses, with each hose to its own faucet, and with its own WIFI hose end timer. Sprinklers are NOT daisy chained, as I've read that can decrease water pressure of the last sprinkler in the run. I can have 40-50 mph high winds here and after 5 years they have never moved. Spring and fall I turn them on to make sure all is working.

Might want to try that on a windy day that comes close to replicating the wind that usually is associated with a bad wildfire. Good luck but I personally doubt that a single one of those would be effective. If you have enough water pressure, a system of three or four might give you a better chance. I also question how secure your water supply is in such a fire emergency? Would multiple fire engines pumping from nearby hydrants take your water?

People, you dont need a sprinklers on your roof if it is a non-combustible roof like asphalt singles. Its better to first remove any combustible vegetation from around your house. Start with everything that is within the first 0-5' then work your way out. Then put sprinklers around your house but on the ground. You want them to spray whatever vegetation is left and the sides of your house if they are wood. What causes houses to burn are vegetation, wood piles, and anything else that can burn that is too close to the house. FF for 40 years.
