If you are searching for a sort of magical formula, for a Cafe Racer project based on a BMW R nine T, you are going to love this video.
It is impressive to see how some simple changes, can create such a beautiful transformation, as the custom project presented on this video.
And the best part, it was inspired on a Lamborghini supercar.
This amazing BMW R nineT, was built in France by Lionel Augier, owner of 'Duke Motorcycles'.

I am sorry, but the escape is very poor executed. The style is a kind of "put in as much as you can". Café racer is about take off, not adds. Lean, Agile and light.
Indeed not a cafe racer, more like a fashion piece.
On some pistures yeah, exhaust seems not totally finished just off the welder, but with the finish it's really beautifull, it's really gentle work, recognize the guy builds pieces of bravoure.

@@RACER_TV …. Very little rain and day time temperatures in the low 60’s F (15.5 C). We’ve actually been in semi-drought conditions! But, now, our temps are starting to fall.

A fever dream inspired work of art. I prefer a more minimalist look - but this bike is his creation. I like the gold USD forks, the stubby exhaust and the stylish seat. I will take it in the grey, thankyou sir!

Remaining indifferent to a mechanical construction proposal such as this is like not having blood in your veins. It simply makes well-built something exceptional. Everything forces us to look in detail at each of the parts that add up to the whole. The first thing that caught my eye was the honeycomb of metal hexagons on the exhausts. It just made me get out of my seat, for God's sake! It simply highlights a simple pipe into something futuristic and organic. The entire bike has that hexagonal theme that gives it a post-industrial and elegant appearance. It is a muscular and powerful motorcycle, I put on headphones to hear the sound of the engine and the exhaust and my heart pumped faster. I had a long time not to feel something like that. It really is a construction that turns something industrial into an aesthetic proposal that should embarrass more than one design department of famous brands, in charge of bringing boring motorcycles to light. The guerrilla approach will always be more effective than a battalion of overweight soldiers. Gracias Lionel Augier

This is a very clever bike. Being able to convert it back to standard is a stroke of genius and to have a set of parts that "Joe Public" can use to transform their own bike is amazing.
You said some people wouldn't like the turbo fan on the rear wheel, and I'm one of those people! I can't see the point of it! What does it add/do to the wheel/backend of the bike?? Is it practical or just for show?? ... For me it's a case of "Thanks, ... but No thanks!! I suspect it would look better without it!

I wonder how successful Duke's parts bin for building this Café Racer will be?
The reason I say this is that I believe that most Café Racer owners like the uniqueness of owning the only kind of bike they ride. Am I completely incorrect on this notion?
No, in general, I think you are right .But I think there are also a lot of others, who prefer to buy only some custom parts, or aftermarket parts, just to change or improve the standard version. But thank you my friend for sharing your interesting perspective. :) Cheers.

Over here in Oz we are getting lots of sunshine 30C, great bike riding weather. Before summer hits and it gets to hot 38C - 42C, take care. Cheers @@RACER_TV

Firstly, this bike is very dope. Secondly, I know it's all subjective, but I can't help but wonder "why?" re: the rear wheel. Someone help me understand how this is cool?

I run a semi customised/modified 2017 R9T and love it. On this version I like the front end, tank job and custom seat but the rear end just does not do it for me. 🇨🇦

The exhaust could be better, but it might be a budget issue. The r9t itself comes with a hefty price.
Interestingly, i am sure the custom made exhausts on this project, were more expensive then an aftermarket ones. :)

Good question about the 1080p, but here is my problem.
Most photos/videos I received, don't have enough size for a Full HD video. I could make my videos in Full HD resolution, but the image quality would be bad. But once in a while, I make Full HD videos. But this is only when the builder sent me High resolution content. I hope you understand :) Cheers.

Looks more like a street fighter or Naked bike.
Mostly a way cool well done bike but the ends of the exhaust are sloppy with one of the uglier welds ive seen in a while. Details
Personal view - rear wheel is horrid and prefer the rear wheel on the earlier iteration; the hexagonal design on tank and seat is too fussy. Otherwise, delightful

@mandydone3061 Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it.
