Minecraft Autobahns (2024/13): Germany A1 Fehmarn-Hamburg (Vogelfluglinie)

Welcome to this video!
Today we're driving in the Northeast of Germany, on the A1 between Fehmarn, Kiel and Hamburg. This stretch of A1 is known as the "Vogelfluglinie", which forms the connection between Hamburg and Copenhagen in Denmark. The island of Fehmarn is the third largest German island in the Baltic Sea, after the islands of Rügen and Usedom. The Fehmarnsundbridge connects the island of Fehmarn with mainland Germany.
We will pass the cities of Lübeck and Hamburg in this video. Lübeck has a long trading history, as it was part of the Hanseatic League, a group of trading cities in Northern Europe, reaching between the Netherlands and Russia. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany, with an important harbour on the Elbe river.
