- Fruit Rojak or Mixed Fruits With Sweet Sauce is a popular salad in Malaysia. It's typically served as a snack or appetizer. To make this delicious snack you will need the sweet sauce, which consists of shrimp paste, palm sugar, sesame seeds, and chili. Then mix and toss some of the sauce with different types of fruits, vegetables, and plenty of chopped peanuts.

Hi Madam, I've been following the steps shown by you in cooking the rojak sauce. It turn out taste very delicious. Bt I'm wondering why is my texture turn out to be more thicker n stickier than yours? Even jst right before adding the roasted sesame??
Fyi, I'm using fryg pan to cook it. Do u think it'll affect the outcome of it?? Thank you in advance for your guidance and tips.
Hi,is there substitute for shrimp paste as its not available here in Europe. Hope you can advise otherwise
+Koulu Koti You can omit the roasted shrimp paste, but the Shrimp Paste/Har Koh/Hae Ko.
Only Thai shrimp paste is available here and is not the same as ours
+Koulu Koti Can you get the Shrimp Paste/Har Koh/Hae Ko.? If not, it won't work for this recipe.
