      Tightrope is the lowkey GOAT of CoH. I don't even own CoH3 yet and I still watch his channel lol. He's a great combination mix of chillness, humor, and tight gameplay.

      I mean when you got two SSF commandos and you use it on Strostrupen or a Gusto it feels impactful. The cool down ain’t long either, just gotta spam it a lot.

    it says that the lg40 vet 1 does full damage against garrisons might be better suited if treated as such

      I did test this lg40 kills a section in 6-7 shot when they are in a garrison tho it seemed about 3 shots bring it below half health and kills 3 models then the damage falls off

    Anyone got build order for wehrmacht, but skiping luftwafe? Somerhing like it was in coh2 skiping tier 1 building. I was thinking, kattenkrat, Double machine gun, stummel, panzer gren, pak 40, 8 rad

    Amazing breakdown Tightrope, thank you! For the luftwaffe relay point, does it allow reinforce by air of team weapons crewed with fallschirmpios/fallschirmjagers like the pathfinder beacon did in Coh2?

    I tried a double canister Greyhound strat vs some blobbers and it was VERY strong. I probably wouldnt use it much on the sherman, though, but maybe its a good way to move away from dozer meta.

    Fun fact: some of these unit changes and abilities sorta weren't applied to the Singleplayer version of the units.
    I say sorta, because some do get the updated stuff, but not all.
    For example, the USF Bazooka do not get the Firing positions passive; and still has the AT satchel and Destroy Cover ability; but their vet choices is the new one (AT satchel or WP).
    The USF Captain is still 4 man and has the Forward Retreat.
    Also in regards to the LG40; what about garrison unit effectiveness? It says in the ability that it does full damage to garrisons.

      Applies to brits too in the campaign. 6 pounders and mortars dont get their new vet 1 entrenchment ability

    That sherman change is absolutely awful. HE round was very good and it didnt need to be removed. But now we are left with this awful abailty that slows down the tank and having all 3 MGs fire at one squad to supress. Compeletely negated in the case sherman gets ambused by 3 schrek jagers when they are spread out

      @@aziouss2863 I'd keep the ability name but rework it to be a timed ability that instantly suppress squads that get hit by the brumm shots. The AOE debuff is too fantasy imo

      if it was a Timed ability with Increased rate of fire and Less accuracy.
      It could simulate a shock and awe attack that can cause ppl to panic. The psychic damage.

    Wehr got left behind in this patch. Replacing sprint for Pgrens with an ability that slows them down instead is a bit of a joke for a CQB unit. Luftwaffe battlegroup needed buffs but 0 changes to fallschirmjaeger is very questionable when they're gonna get dumpstered even harder by buffed allied infantry now. LG40 still sucks balls and its new ability is hilariously bad. Shatter will is cool i guess, but I feel like I could miss the bunker buster and I wish the new ability was something that helped the brummbar stay at long range instead. feels like they left out a lot of changes that Wehr needs to compete against the new and improved Allies

      Actually a good change as they became very difficult to deal with when more than 1 squad, vetted up, sprinting + bundle. They ate vet3 rifles.

      Dude the Brummbar is already insane, it bounces shots from everything and nearly one shots squads, and now it's basically invulnerable to infantry, LOL. This is some arcade stuff for sure. Like why would you ever even need a Tiger with how effective it is?. Also, PGrens are supposed to be mid range, not cqb. Honestly they need to be retuned for mid range further, and maybe even nerfed at close range. Glad the sprint is gone so they can't just bumrush everything, though.

      What buffed Allied infantry? Fallschirms have a higher DPS than the Paratroopers at all ranges unless the Paras buy the LMGs (and even then the FS beat them by a significant margin between 11 and 23 range). They seriously outdamage non-BAR riflemen beyond range 7, single BAR Riflemen beyond range 11, and double BAR Riflemen beyond range 15. Bren Tommies don't outdamage Fallschirms until range *25* and above, and it's not even worth talking about what those FG42s do to base edition Inf Sections. Aussies do even worse, losing the matchup at any distance even with the scoped rifles. The only matchup that is now bad for the FSJ (and it did, in fact, flip between patches) is the SSF, and most people don't use that battlegroup because it has almost nothing else going for it. Outside of that, the only Allied infantry to receive buffs in this patch were Sappers, Engies, and Scouts. Rangers? Nerfed (by removing speed stacking, which is a fair cop if I've ever seen one, but still). Gurkhas? Untouched. Commandos? Untouched (they didn't even get hidden demo charges, come on). Foot Guards? Untouched.
      Meanwhile, 0 XP coastal reserves can now brush against 1.0 accuracy at most ranges if they have any cover at all. The Brummbar still wrecks tanks and laughs at AT (sure, let's make it a long range unit, it's too easy to flank as is and then it only bounces half the shots instead of 80% of them). The LG40 can now use ambush camo out of the box. PGrens are getting refocused by buffing. *Jaegers* got a buff, a unit that needed a buff like a fish needs a bicycle. What else do you want, a Stoss buff? Free armor skirts? A written apology from everyone who plays against you?
      Wehr is the strongest and most complete faction in the game and this update only made that more pronounced.

    1. I would say that Werh Pgrens became defensive CQB unit instead of offensive - that is sad. Also new ability doesn't look to be effective due to video presentation. -speed + cheap grenades from US = pain.
    2. LG40 - just lol. I'd better go to pgrens base and order reliable AT already with crew. Better to save that ammo and buy MG for fallpios.
    3. Luftwaffe relay was useles - now it's still useless, replased nice call-in and eats 2 CP. That lead us to the fact that both T2 choises in that BGs' tech line are almost useless.
    4. Sherman canister looks nice.
    5. Totaly agreed that jeep needs less XP to get veterancy - they can share same as Weasel.
    6. The throwing knife - lol, seems that he was throwing bricks into that house X).
    7. "Shattered Will" - dunno. You dont wanna rush Brumbar into enmy infantry cause it will be snared instantly. If they wanted to reflect his offensive role it would be more logical if Brumbar aplied that debuff not around himself but around area of explosion. But seems it would be to powerfull.

      Yeah I love how the Relay Point literally already existed, for free, on Fallschirmpoioneers. Now it costs 2 points and removes an entire ability from that battlegroup, just so that regular pioneers can build it? lol. The battlegroups could really use a rebalanced, I think. Sad the Kettengrad got nerfed. Only half camo, way more xp to lvl, and it still can't tow the Flak 30 :(

    you should try the LG40 against garrisons (see ability description
    -Pgrens can't beat riflemen- (I mistook DAK pgren as Wehr pgren in last video) and their slow ability can be countered with nades

    The LG40 continues to be the most mediocre unit in the game, and I’m here for it. Truly a meme unit, especially when compared to its soviet predecessor the 45mm AT gun from CoH2.

      Since it got ambush camo at vet 0, at least the first shot from it should be good more often. I am a bit surprised they didn't also give it an accuracy buff

    USF is going to be broken now. Rifles are already good before but they got buffed even harder than other units.
    Relic clearly biases AGAINST Axis with this patch by only increasing accuracy and not cooldown or damage of their units, meaning they don't do any better against the Dingo early on. Werh is still utter crap when faced with any light vehicle play. Why nothing has been done to address this?
