I've been divorced for over a decade and I've introduced my daughter to exactly one woman and I was with that woman for 7 years. I think it's good policy in general to wait at least 6 months and sure you want to be with the person long term before you introduce them to your kids. You've got better reasons to be cautious though.

I’m not a parent and I don’t plan on ever becoming one because of my past trauma. I’ve had extensive treatment and therapy but I know If ANYONE hurt my baby and did what was done to me, behind my back….. I know I’m not strong enough to resist, I’d absolutely lose it and go into Hulk mode and end up in prison.. At least I can recognize it 😂😅🤧

I don’t have kids and that’s bc I know how hard it is for parents. One she’s a single parent. We don’t know how long they were dating before she brought him around. If she knew he would do this she would’ve never had him around. Most single parents can’t afford daycare but they still have to go to work. We don’t know her relationship with her parents or if they’re still even here. It could’ve been here very father who she known her whole life who could’ve done this. It could’ve been an uncle who they know their whole life that be creeping on kids. People are just fcked, you should be able to trust them but it’s sad that you can’t. But I won’t go blaming the mom bc if she doesn’t have a babysitter then she can’t work. If she can’t work then the kids can’t eat or have a place to live. My mom was a single mom she never brought any man around us but I had older siblings to watch us so she could work. And my sister wasn’t that much older than I was so it was just us especially after my gma passed. We were told just never to answer the door. By the looks of it it looks like the mom said she daughter is 6. She’s not nearly old enough to stay home alone.

My parents divorced when I was 12 years old and even though they both dated people afterward, I rarely ever met them and not once did my mom have a man spend the night. Seeing shows like this makes me realize why she didn't.

My husband and I (married 12 years and have 4 kids) promised each other that if we ever split up we would NEVER have girlfriends or boyfriends around our kids and especially never let them babysit. We were both molested as young kids and we will make damn sure it never happens to our babies. This is disgusting and it needs to stop. Be very careful who you let around your kids. Being raised by a single mom, she never brought men around us as kids. We were almost teenagers when my now step parent met us because she was terrified of this kind of stuff happening with where we lived. My heart goes out to all parents who get manipulated by someone who hurts their children.

These women need to stop asking the kids to confront their abusers. On another note, calling her mother's boyfriend "brother" is just bizarre.
If she didn't she wouldn't believe her child and blame other men for his actions, plus the child wouldn't get justice either if they waited for a few more days/months/years because how the law is now. But no matter the situation, the child still have to confront their abuser.

No extra pats on the back for doing what is required. If your child says I was molested, as a parent, you’re supposed to do something about it. The mother should have never left the child home alone with him at all because he’s not her dad. So with that, let’s raise the bar when it comes to the decision making of these single mothers because their kids suffering behind decisions the mother made and putting the child in a situation that could have completely been avoided.

This is one of thee many reasons why ive been single ever since i left ny kids father 13 years ago. I would NEVER put my kids in a position to be abused in any matter. So can these interviews be used as confessions for the investigations? Do people get arrested when they walk out of the building? I know lawyers would look at this and try to throw this out of evidence because it’s a tv show, but can any of this be used for an arrest?
The police still have to do an investigation of their own but the show can help in lots of ways. Obviously the lie detector tests, but also the staff is able to communicate and help them with their investigation. The show has lots of success in “getting people locked up” meaning when the results of the tests are brought to the police, it definitely speeds up the investigation
Leave your kids with family members. Not boyfriends.

I used to but it's better to really know them but then again you never know. The best thing you can do is yes date but they can't meet your kids until your kids are like 16 and up. And teach them to defend themselves like fighting them if anyone tries to touch them inappropriately.
