Finally !!!!!!!!!!!!. I have been avoiding the matter of "moving on" to a powered wheelchair and just have not had the desire to make that leap and instead I am wearing out my shoulders and all else. My new Ti chair is awaiting this new acessory. I took a deep breathe when I saw the price and am anxious to justify it .......this is a changing moment. Nightingale

I just bought one and its the best device i have spend money on it performs and functions 100%like the video very easy to instald and it took me 5 min to learn how to used it highly recomend to help shoulders and muscle ache. A++++++++
I got to try one of these out at the local rehab hospital in Daytona beach, but it's really just a matter of calling them and a sales rep will bring one. It was fun but more for long distance and it does not claim to be water proof. Also it can be covered by insurance. I'm going with power assist wheels instead as I need the waterproof and I believe the charge lasts longer.

How is this in regards to rainy conditions?? I live in Portland and the hills are a killer so I think this would be great for getting around but we're also the Pacific Northwest so...

yessss. Just ordered one can't wait. Im not a lazy mofo but its just so i could keep up with my family with kids and not get fatigued and also there is obvious advantage to this, with normal tasks. Don't knock the product but appreciate whats coming out. its expensive but it is what it is.

I REALLY wish I had this! It became available in the UK about a month after I got the e motion wheels from Alber, and they've been nothing but trouble, broken down twice in the six/seven months I've had em and it takes about a month before Alber actually collect em for repair, and then about a month and a half for them to send them back. So in the time I've had them I think I've managed to use them for a grand total of 20 weeks, 10 weeks both times before they break... I'm REALLY ticked.
rant over/ Sorry, had to get that out, lol. As I say, I wish I had this, looks like it'd be easier for my friends and family to handle too: they struggle with the weight of the e motions. Anyone know exactly how much it weighs?

Makes life so much better and this is coming from a person who uses a wheel chair every day and has experiance shoulder and back pain and 3 back surgerys ,i search alot of products and this by far is the best small, light,very easy to carry around you dont need any one helping your very independent the product is worth its value if you also value your health ...before you walk away from this product i suggest you find any one that has one and ask him or her what diffrence it has done for them.

This would be a really great device to have as a person with one hand. But with that price there is no way I could hope to afford it! I hope this next tendon transfer in my thumb takes because that's the only way I would be able to use a manual chair. Nifty device for one can afford it or an insurance company would buy it for them.

Medicare won't cover because I just got a power chair last year. I can't afford a wheelchair van. I purchased a manual chair out of pocket, but physical therapist said first I would need to wait another year for Medicare to buy a manual chair as they won't pay for power assist for my out of pocket chair. then I would need to wait another couple of years for them to pay for power assist. I can't push my manual light weight chair due to my dystonia and Parkinsonism. I can't afford a wheelchair accessible van for my power chair. I'm only 34 ,and too depressed to wait 4 years for Medicare to pay for this

Seems useful for uphill assistance..... but I don't know too many people in wheelchairs who could afford something like that. Most my friends lost their jobs due to disability. =/
