If you're actually wondering it's because they're tapping faster than the normal "keeping the button pressed" does or (/and) they've been to their settings and tweaked delays, DAS speed etc

@@h0bost But you can't sprint in a tetris game, you'd lose. You need the time to actually calculate your placements and not get spiked to oblivion.

Download the game client. It seriously helps especially if u used to play tetr.io at google chrome. U'll notice the difference in performance
