I am about to try with a 9.5 XY Charizard, 9.5 Flareon Cross Hatch Regional Championship, 9.5 Erika's Clefable, and a 9.5 Sabrina's Gengar. Print lines have me worried though!

Lol. People in here actually think PSA grades “hard.” They are a rubber stamp company that hand out 9 and 10s like candy on modern. If you are getting below that, it’s your grading skills. Then you get all those 9 and 10s and submit to SGC, CGC or BGS and wonder why you get 6 and 7s. You never learned how to grade, you just watched videos of other idiots submitting to PSA and followed suite.
I predicted that the market will eventually accept cgc as a serious grader and psa as too easy. I think its slowly happening
Yes because CGC Card Grading will not go away with the corporate backing that it has. It will be persistent, and it has the financial legs to keep it going indefinitely.

When you cross graded, does PSA allow you to send your cards in their prior slabs, or did you have to crack them?

This video makes me happy. I was just trying to buy the shiny charizard vmax in CGC 9 for $115 but the guy rejected my offer. Then I offered the same amount for a PSA 9 & got it! Super happy🎉
Psa got lazy so they purposely give you 10s. Reason why I don’t buy psa. I rather buy beckett 10 and CGC 10. They are more legit. I’ll never buy psa because I remember seeing a centering super off with 10. Psa is really making the marketing fall. If everything is a ten then everyone is getting 10s
Very important thing to note, surface 7.5 from cgc on a mint card means there is a dent somewhere, big risk to send to psa bc if they catch it, itll be a 6 automatically.
If there's a dent to cgc its sent
If the centering is bad, psa you'll be glad!
If edges are rough, we'll becketts not tough

PSA does not automatically give it a 6. This is a weird rumor. Dented cards can get 8's and 9's depending on the size of the dent.

CGC is specific on surface. One of my cards graded at a Pristine 10, only because 9.5 on surface because of slight waxing on the back. To me, it received a fair grade (I didn’t plan on selling that card).
seems they're very specific on everything lol. It seems theyre more lenient on surface for lower grade stuff though. i get a lot of cgc 8s on cards that would be a psa 3-7

just started really grading with PSA since the turnaround times have been quicker. CGC gave me the 8.5 on a 1st ed holo dark blastoise and and charizard holo from crystal guardians. looking to at least bump them up to maybe a 9 but who knows they could both go down to a PSA 8
I've pretty steadily gotten grades one higher than the cgc label

why would a PSA grade (which seems to grade up easier) would be worth more than a harsher grading company like CGC ?
Most collectors have been collecting psa for numerous years and wont change to another company to keep their collection uniform
If I didn't have to buy a membership, I'd grade more CGC, CSG, etc.

All this video shows me is not to use PSA for grading or to buy PSA graded cards . They handed out high grade to easyly.
What does this mean for people BUYING slabs? should we buy CGC over PSA since they are likely in better condition? Have you tried to do the opposite?

I mean 1200 (i believe that was the cheapest bin you mentioned in the vid) is not gonna get you one anymore! I saw one sold for 2.5k and some consistently selling above 2k.

PSA just like some other grading companies make mistakes. I have seen PSA 10 cards that never should have gotten them. Thus, I carefully try to inspect even these "gem mint" cards as they sometimes miss small details and then just slap a 10 on it...
So buy up those 9s
All this video proved to me is that grading means absolutely nothing *shrug* What a scam lol
Whether people like it or not, PSA will always be king. Yeah people can say cgc knows how to grade better, but who cares? They're the top dog, and they hold better value. So you're really losing out if you grade cgc unless you really like their slabs or you're going for that perfect 10.

CGC is a harder grading company. if you get higher CGC grade they are worth more in value then PSA.
Wholeheartedly agree. To me that screams more value in cards if grading is stringent (at least more so than PSA).

Highest a Cgc 10 alt art umbreon sold for 4000 highest a psa 10 same exact card sold for 8000
yeah psa knows what they're doing, nothing new. it's part of their business model to not include '0.5's and usually round up for grades. psa dominates the card grading market by 10-fold because of this and their long history regardless of whether the grades are easy to obtain. it's here to stay, can't say the same for cgc. the value is more profitable and much easier to flip

Proves CGC is incompetent from comic books to cards! Now they will do damage to video game grading.
I don't get why you would ever grade with cgc if you're trying to get the most value out of your cards. Just my opinion though.

Your thumbnail is exactly what's wrong with this hobby lmao. Companies with integrity actually grading cards properly, meanwhile PSA just slaps 10's onto absolutely garbage cards that are no where near a 9 even.

I just auctioned an ancient mew card graded bravo 10 by Tree Frog Grading (relatively new uk grading company). It only has a small centering issue. Im wondering if it would be worth trying to get it crossgraded to psa 10 because it would double the price of the card. If anyone wants to inspect the card, the serial number is 0009492. Im from Germany so I can inspect lots of extra cost for shipping it to psa.
