I think it means gold mines for junior miners in friendly jurisdictions. I would be scooping up as much Canadian assets as I can these days. The battery resource markets are about to go into beast mode season and I would be taking stacking up on Quebec and Ontario regions. High grade deposit behemoths like Frontier and Patriot Battery are great long plays. Infinity Stone Ventures is a super tiny market cap that is buying up land right next to these two in the two provinces. Massive upside potential once they release their drill results. Can you do a review of Atlantic Lithium A11 on ASX? The have recently listed on ASX and are on LSE as ALL, lots of chat on Hotcopper...over 30mt at 1.45% lithium resource in Ghana (heading to 50mt) with a JV with Piedmont...thanks in advance.
Imo we will see quite some mergers and overtakes.the inflation environment will force juniors and developers to do so,to save thy're deposit.Argentina has great deposits but also 80+% inflation,how much more will thy're project development cost ?
The Inflation Reduction Act will be a decent boost to EV stocks, especially with the continued push into batteries and green energy. Regardless of the passage of the act, however, we are still seeing major auto manufacturers shift their strategy into vertically integrating the battery mfg process, all the way down to the raw materials. I see big things for anyone that can supply Ford, GM, Tesla, and the like with raw materials with very little shipping overhead. For this reason, look out for small junior minors like Frontier Lithium, Patriot Battery Metals, and the extremely interesting Infinity Stone ventures. These three have huge upside, all located in Canada, and can connect directly to the North American Auto power houses.
Lithium Americas Thacker Pass project will be only 250 miles away from Giga Nevada. Lithium Americas is developing their "Thacker Pass " project which is the largest known lithium deposit in the US, and one of the largest in the world. They will begin production 2024-2025, making it one of the first large scale lithium mining operation in the USA. A lithium mine can take between 5-15 years to get up and running.They will also begin production at their mining site in Argentina by years end 2022 !
