Katherine Poindexter , you won't see them, they are spirits not n earthly bodies. Once death occurs, no more need for a body. The spirit will be what remains.
according to the Bible there will be a bodily resurrection. for those who have died in Christ their spirit is already with Him. when He comes again, their bodies will be resurrected and then it will changed. If one does not believe in the bodily resurrection then your hope is in vain.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had made almost similar kind of prophecies about the end of times, but difference is that, Jesus PBUH (ISA Ibn-e-Maryam) is a beloved prophet of God and not a son of God. As God need no son for Him, as God is eternal and not mortal. Only creature need to have kids being mortal and to keep the system running. God is not a creature as God is a creator, So, He does not need anybody to share his authority. What we see today is very clearly defined in the Infinitely Truthful and Holy Bible. Amazingly the prophecies were recorded OVER 2000 years ago.

I am a old man and life and Gods word has taught me that , God in most cases goes out side the camp to get his job done. These people who think they have all the answers should be a bit more humble in their conclusions.The problem with Bible teachers is , they may know a lot about the bible but, know nothing about history. To understand Bible prophecy one must understand world history , without which you will be like a dog chasing his tail when it comes to Gods prophetic word.Get your history book and start looking at Edom( Esau ) , Turky ( Ottman Empire) then you will discover who the beast of Daniel and Rev. is. I would also tell you to check into where the House of Israel ( Ten Tribes) went after they were dispersed in 721 B C.Then you might come to know were the U.S. comes in to play at the end of this age if you study that history.

I can't find in my Bible where it says there is a third coming of Christ, I think only two or mentioned, leaving us with one left. When speaking about the future, Christ warned that Christians would suffer extreme persecution and that many world be put to death for their testimony. Nobody would be able to, or want to, do this to Christians who were in heaven with the Lord during the tribulation. If you're spirit, nobody can behead you. Christ said that a slave is not better than his master and that if the world hates Him, it will hate us. Toward the end of the tribulation during the worst judgement period, or three and a half years, I believe there will be protection of the elect by God's hand. "And they shall flee to their place of safety in the wilderness, to be nurtured for time, times, and half a time." Heaven isn't a wilderness or a desert so this has to be on earth. Some argue these are just the tribulation saints, ones that were on the fence during Christ's second coming so they went through the mark of the beast, and refusing it. They were beheaded for their belief in Jesus. But the whole point of a pre trip rapture would be to save God's people from having to go through the tribulation. What happens to this group according to the book of revelation? At the end of the three and a half years, satan makes war with them and overcomes them. I think the church goes through the tribulation but will be protected on earth during the worst part because these are judgements from God to sinful mankind. As soon as God has used His elect for whatever role they will play, satan makes war with them and kills them. At the end of the tribulation, Christ returns. The dead in Christ shall rise first. It's because of this that I don't believe in a pre trip rapture. If the church is whisked away to heaven, there would be no need to bring them back to life in order to change them in the twinkling of an eye, they'd already have a spiritual body from having been in heaven with Jesus. Once the dead in Christ rise first, given spirit bodies, then those of us who are alive will be caught up to greet the Lord in the air. We then go over to Jerusalem where God sets up His Kingdom to reign a thousand years. His saints will rule with Him, for Jesus has proclaimed them worthy because, "They loved not their lives unto death." Another verse, "Whoever tries to save his life shall lose it but whosoever loses his life for my sake will find it." We all need to encourage one another. If you have scripture to show we escape the tribulation, please tell me, I'm always willing to learn something I don't know! Thank you. 😉

Whoa John, wait a minute. The Word of God says that to receive eternal life we must believe the Gospel, that we are sinners and that the BLOOD of Christ HAS give us eternal life by being the propitiation for all sin of the whole world. What is the addition to the Gospel that you must have Christ " Come into your life" and " have a relationship" ? These man made quotes sound good to men but they're not the Gospel which saves us. These quotes a veiled attempt to introduce works into salvation. The bible says we are saved by belief, having faith alone in Christ alone , in what He did on the cross ( his death, burial and resurrection). The proper terms to accurately describe the salvation for men is to simply "believe the Gospel" and "receive the Spirit" . The Spirit is given at the instant of our belief. We become children of God.
+Duck4212 Jesus Himself commented on how He will answer some "I never knew you" Calling Him Savior is not the same as regarding Him as Lord. The Parable of the Ten Virgins indicates only half of the church will enter even though they are virgins (spiritually) and dressed appropriately. Their lamps were going out and had no extra oil. For me, the oil is replenished by sermons, The Word, praise and worship music and I guard them as those in the parable saying, get your own! The Parable of the sower also refers to receiving the Gospel but not living in it, and being destroyed. We as grafted-in branches can be cut off just as easily as those of the original vine (Jews). We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling and are to be ready for His coming. If a simple belief in The Lord was enough, then all the teachings from Acts to Revelation were unnecessary. As to your last statement, the infilling of The Holy Spirit is a separate experience from salvation. Refer to Scriptures where people addressed as brothers or brethren (already saved) received prayer and laying on of hands to receive the baptism of The Holy Spirit at a point previous to their belief in Christ as Savior.

We just do not have it. To me Genesis 19's LOT deliverance then Sodom's judgement is the best fit analogy wise. We just do not have a text formally, just inference.

Jesus Himself said "IMMEDIATELY AFTER" the tribulation of those days, we will see His sign, the sign of His Coming in the clouds.... it is the only coming He ever spoke of.. He will return with His remnant Church, of course. There is no "secret rapture". Paul was very clear on this....but I know there are intense arguments all the way around over the so-called secret rapture. I was taught that too & believed it for a long time until the Holy Spirit began to reveal the Word in my heart. Many, many people are testifying to this now....they quit listening to man and allowed the Holy Spirit to teach them and reveal God's Word of truth to them.

Dear Church, Read Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13 again... What Jesus said about the end times clearly does not support a pretrib rapture...
Hmmm. Certainly very "old School" regarding his teaching on the "revived Roman Empire" and the Anti-Christ being from Europe. Micah 6 clearly identifies the Anti-Christ as coming from Assyria which is modern day southern Turkey. As well, the book of Revelation tells us the the 'seat of Satan" is Pergamum which is in Turkey. Jimmy seems like a nice old guy but a little out of touch with the Bible. Bible prophecy has evolved a lot since these teaching because Biblical knowledge has been increased. God is revealing more of more information to a new wave of Bible scholars who are searching the Scriptures.
Rapture what makes you so called christian's think you will be Raptured before tribulation? The Bible tells us that a lot of christian's will fall away and not make heaven in the end days I wonder why?
There are many verses, but simply put its Rev.3:10, and Luke 21:36 sure makes it clear to most. However many never gave God the respect he deserves, and have had a wool pulled over their eyes, reprobate mind. Sin unto death is spoken of in Jeremiah 7:1-16.
The time line of the rapture is clear : It happens after the tribulation - AFTER THE TRIBULATION - Here is the scripture - Matt 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:"
Mat 24:30 - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matt 24:31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. .... So why do so many get this wrong ??!

When the Lord spoke of His Coming, He used only 2 examples: Lot and Noah; Why?? In both situations, it explains "The SAME DAY, Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone": "The SAME DAY Noah entered the Ark, the floods came". "IMMEDIATELY AFTER the tribulation, we will see the sign of the Son of God coming in the clouds". "Every eye shall see Him; He will gather His elect from the 4 corners of the earth and destroy at that time all that have done evil; (there are many Scriptures that validate this). Tribulation and wrath are 2 entirely different things; there is so much and it takes digging into the Word of God where Scripture ALWAYS confirms itself; also, we must ALWAYS pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the Word of God to us....SO MANY have written, spoken, twisted Scripture and tried to use allegory to prove a particular doctrine; Jesus said He has made it so simple that a fool could not err therein. If He said He was not coming until AFTER the tribulation, He meant it..... This is why we must "Study to show ourselves approved unto GOD, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth; Jesus said, "When the Comforter, (the Holy Spirit) has come, HE will testify of me, HE will lead you into ALL truth, HE will show you things to come" For decades, Christians have relied on man to get their information concerning not only the Coming of the Lord, but so many critical doctrines that Jesus taught us about, then the Apostle Paul and all throughout God's Word.... Paul the apostle to the GENTILES ( Romans through Philemon ) The Jewish nation rejected Christ. The kingdom isn't until after the tribulation. Peter was the apostle to the JEWS. Matthew, Mark, Luke & John primarily for the Jews and those Jews in the tribulation. The church age has been primarily Gentiles. The time of Jacob's Trouble is Jewish not Gentile. Church age is over before the seven year Tribulation.
