Please back off on the music track. It’s a great story, but when the music is overdone it distracts and takes away from it. The music’s intensity is unnecessary for the story, is a distraction, and it makes it harder to understand the narration.
I think the music is fine, but I do agree, the volume could be toned down a little bit.
One of the problems with special forces hero worship is that positive reinforcement tends to exclude the failures, such as Operation Agreement above. For example, in a debacle on a similar scale, the Brandenburgers lost virtually their entire Parachute Battalion trying to seize Romanian airfields in August 1944, but you never hear about that.

Some men rise above and go way beyond the call of duty. Thank God for those who serve, my own relatives died in WW1, these men are directly responsible for my freedoms, their not forgotten, I'm beyond grateful. 🇺🇸

As an historian for over 50 years, THIS is about THE FINEST written, presented/narratored, and produced WWII docs I've ever seen. Exactly as if ur right there with these extraordinarily brave and courageous men.
Now I need to research WHO GAVE the go-ahead on the Tobruk raid.

I'd like to see how the survivors from fighting the Germans might've been used or influencial with the Israelis in the forming of the nation.
There is an excellent book by Howard Blum called “The Brigade”. Highly recommend.

in the end the british high command saw throug them, and they were disbanded, the lions were folded into the pioneer corp, digging toilets and trenches

Tam o'shanters (TOS) not berets in Scottish regiments but you're correct in why Scottish soldiers were used in the thumbnail. Perhaps this was part of the deception in case German, Arab or Italian spies were operating in the area.

after ONLY 6 months, the british high command got fed up with their non-sense and disbanded them, the members were so "useful" to the war effort that they were assigned to the pioneer corp, digging toilets and trenches...its all on wiki
you can see some of the names of the the members...you can see that they later fought against the british in palestine post 1945

Never heard of the SIG and the war footage of the North Africa campaign does not help as its too Generalized. Operation Agreement, of which the SIG were part, was a total disaster, nothing went to plan. Instead of "Undermining the Axis war effort", the goal of the plan, it cost 1,575 Casualties, 3 Warships and 14 smaller boats sunk. The Germans and Italians lost just 15 men!
War is war. Often things happen that you'd say, " I would never do succha thing ! " But , in the heat of the moment, you find yourself doing things that you'd never dreamed yourself possible of, on any other day. May Creator grant us enough time to forgive ourselves for the things that we regret, the things we are not proud of, the things, if given the chance - we would do differently. Forgiving yourself is the first step to achieving forgiveness.

Why are there blurred sections done by editors, what are you hiding? If you want to tell history then it must all be seen otherwise you are not telling/showing what really happened. If the young don’t see the truthful horror of history then they are destined to repeat it.

Just read a book on “Orde Wingate “ of the Chindits fame ….anyway he was involved in putting down the 1936 Arab revolt against the Jews in Palestine…he recruited a night brigade to eliminate Arab terrorists attacking Jewish villages…the biggest praise reaped on him came from Moshe Dayan who said they learnt everything off Wingate on unorthodox special forces warfare ….

A documentary that highlights the fact that a failed mission small or big does not mean that the men/women assigned to were failures. On the contrary, they were the men/women who risked their lives notwithstanding knowing that all the odds were against them in those missions! This is called blind courage and bravery!
