Would you recommend this for someone new to banjo and wanting a smaller and more cosy sized instrument. I mainly just want it as a new hobby. I dont really want to be loud and i am not planning to record/gig. It seems nice i am just unsure if it is worth the 300 pound asking price. Thanks

It's perfect for that purpose - you won't be disturbing the neighbours with this one! Buy a second hand one - it's not worth the full retail price.
