Here is the anthem of my country (Barbados). I couldn't find it on the map (#SIDSproblems 😢) but I have a feeling it got clustered into green based on the description. :: It begins with a sort of backstory talking about "our forefathers", and how throughout history they worked towards the country's independence, which was when the song would have been made. _In plenty and in time of need,_ _when this fair land was young,_ _Our brave forefathers sowed the seed,_ _From which our pride is sprung_ :: The next portion becomes more boisterous, emphasizing "pride", before mellowing out, and details what the country is proud of: previous accomplishments, overcoming great challenges as well as its ability to be its own nation and self-govern. It also states that that pride is what unites persons in the country. _A pride that makes no wanton boast of what it has withstood,_ _That binds our hearts from coast to coast,_ _A pride of nationhood!_ :: The next part begins the chorus and is the most boisterous. Further, it is essentially a stern declaration of the country's independence. _We loyal sons and daughters all do hereby make it known,_ _These fields and hills beyond recall are now our very own_ :: The final part returns to low and mellow but serves as a promise each citizen makes. In the country today, this mentality is seen as perhaps an obligation stemming from the aforementioned pride, and a duty in honour of those that have come before. It all boils down to stepping up and changing the world. It's a pledge to 1) remember and protect the memory of the past, and 2) be bold and unwavering in determining the future. _We write our names on history's page,_ _With expectations great,_ _Strict guardians of our heritage,_ _Firm craftsmen of our fate._ I think this song explains a lot about Barbadian culture, including how the country approaches foreign policy. Barbados prides itself in making waves and being a little leader on the global stage. This is also expressed by the country's motto "Pride and Industry".
3:22 Mechi and Mahakali doesn’t represent plains and mountains. These are the boundaries of Nepal in eastern and western parts respectively. The river called Mahakali in Nepal is called Sharda in India.

As an Indian I like "Sonar Bangla" anthem of Bangladesh.... Those Tabla background is just amazing.... Rabindranath Tagore is a legend....I am not surprised that he was awarded Nobel Prize West Bengal should have recognised this song as Their "State Song" before Bangladesh could own it ...
Nobody owns anything. It is a creation of Rabindranath Tagore. A Bengali can sing it. Mostly it is not practiced, since Bangladesh recognised it as their anthem, and we have an inclination towards discrimination. Like it is their now, we shouldn't sing, or hear, what if people call us bangladeshi, or anti national wagera wagera.
@@ayushmansrivastava31 Exactly. As a Bengali, I also get the same feeling. Bangladesh's national anthem is a great song, but in character does not sound well as an anthem.

There's another Bengali song that gives an equally intense patriotic feeling. It's called "O amaar desher mati tomar pore thekai matha". It's used both in West Bengal and Bangladesh during national occasions.
Indian national anthem is definitely praising god. Actually we've just adopted first stanza. You should definitely listen whole song , you would definitely get tears and goosebumps. Fun fact: some states have there own state anthems. As I'm from Andhra Pradesh our State anthem is " maa telugu talliki mallepoodanda" Means jasmine garland to our beloved mother telugu.( Here maa is not mother maa is "our" in telugu and talli is mother.) It would definitely come under motherly nature catagory. It Praises mother telugu , her land and rivers. It praises about our ancient queen and poets. And a promise we made to her. Jai hind, Jai telugu talli.
I think the Indian 🇮🇳 anthem is one of the few national anthems that does not have a martial element in it. It's a peaceful poem written by Rabindranath Tagore, India's poet laureate, and gives thanks to god for the glory of India. So beautiful. The spirit of India was captured in this lovely anthem.
There's a controversy around the word "Adhinayak", some people say that it represent British king when he came to India before independence. This song was written and sang when he was here.

great work bro, just this week I was learning nlp and finished tf-idf and word2vec and this popped up. Loved it.
_In plenty and in time of need,_
_when this fair land was young,_
_Our brave forefathers sowed the seed,_
_From which our pride is sprung_
:: The next portion becomes more boisterous, emphasizing "pride", before mellowing out, and details what the country is proud of: previous accomplishments, overcoming great challenges as well as its ability to be its own nation and self-govern. It also states that that pride is what unites persons in the country.
_A pride that makes no wanton boast of what it has withstood,_
_That binds our hearts from coast to coast,_
_A pride of nationhood!_
:: The next part begins the chorus and is the most boisterous. Further, it is essentially a stern declaration of the country's independence.
_We loyal sons and daughters all do hereby make it known,_
_These fields and hills beyond recall are now our very own_
:: The final part returns to low and mellow but serves as a promise each citizen makes.
_We write our names on history's page,_
_With expectations great,_
_Strict guardians of our heritage,_
_Firm craftsmen of our fate._
I think this song explains a lot about Barbadian culture, including how the country approaches foreign policy. Barbados prides itself in making waves and being a little leader on the global stage. This is also expressed by the country's motto "Pride and Industry".

As an Indian I like "Sonar Bangla" anthem of Bangladesh....
Those Tabla background is just amazing....
Rabindranath Tagore is a legend....I am not surprised that he was awarded Nobel Prize
West Bengal should have recognised this song as Their "State Song" before Bangladesh could own it ...
It feels like an old bengalli song to me.....
@@ayushmansrivastava31 Exactly. As a Bengali, I also get the same feeling. Bangladesh's national anthem is a great song, but in character does not sound well as an anthem.
It cannot be denied that Rabindranath Thakur was not born in what is known as current-day "West Bengal".

As I'm from Andhra Pradesh our State anthem is " maa telugu talliki mallepoodanda"
Means jasmine garland to our beloved mother telugu.( Here maa is not mother maa is "our" in telugu and talli is mother.) It would definitely come under motherly nature catagory. It Praises mother telugu , her land and rivers. It praises about our ancient queen and poets. And a promise we made to her.
Jai hind,
Jai telugu talli.
My state odisha also has its song called "vande utkal janini "
in assam too we have our state anthem "O' mur apunar dekh"
My state ( Tamil Nadu ) also have state anthem- Tamil Thai vazhthu.
Telangana also has one "Jaya jayahe Telangana"
My (Maharashtra)state also has defacto state song
i. e. "जय जय महाराष्ट्र माझा "
