A great evening -- nice sound and what a terrific band!
Doug , You are missed!
Nobody can take his place, but his son comes close!
What a fantastic song wow they are full of life just brilliant
Doug was so cool, always loved when he said "Play it Augie!" referring to August Myers.
So funny to come across this video. I was the one who filmed it. With my portable VHS recorder and a terrific line out from the PA.
Over two hours of high energy.
It,s a small world after all.

Great Douglas!! Never forget about you. 👍
wonderful Song !!!
Zeer mooie hit.
I was in Mendicino about this time. This song was never far from my mind. Doug, the organ, a great song. The 80's were fine!
The 8's were fine but this song came out in 1969, I was 20 then, the 60's were the best rock and pop music ever, it will never be like 1969 ever again, if you were not there, you missed the boat!
@@dc10fomin65 well, if you missed Santa Cruz in the 80s (you're 2 yrs older) you missed the fun, mang! Surf City! Neil Young, everyone who was on the scene played the Catalyst on Pacific Avenue.
@@buddyrupp6235 Yes sir, you are right, In the mid 80's I was living in Chicago but travelled to California a lot doing maintenance on telephone systems for Mervyn Dept Stores for Pacific Bell. Never been to Santa Cruz, but I've been to some of the smaller towns such as Walnut Creek, Dublin, Modesto, San Jose, Mountain View and went to some music scenes but don't remember any names. I'm 73 now and some of the old groups pass by Chicago doing concerts, I just recently saw Tony Orlando and the Beach Boys, smoked some weed and laid back, best regards to you...............
@@dc10fomin65 networking pros are always popular! Mervyn' S was my go to for affordable styles. The Love Movement may have begun in the Santa Cruz Mountains. There were still pockets of hippies in the early 80s in those mountains. Santana has a Home up there, as does Neil Young and assorted others. Great memories! Oddly enough, I live in the Midwest now too. Very peaceful, comparably speaking! All the best Old Timer! 😁
Bliver aldrig træt af Mendosino, den fik jeg på plade i min grønne ungdom

He's a terrible vocalist. I thought ALF was singing at first.
Jeremy That would be cool hearing Alf sing old Sir Douglas Quintet songs. Alf is my hero
Cool as hell though!!
Nah he actually has a really really strong voice. He's a great vocalist. His voice is just shot in this concert.
