We wake up at Disney's Grand Floridian resort and its my birthday! (Alex), we have a fun filled day planned. We head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom where we have a breakfast reservation at Tusker House which is a character dinning experience featuring Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy who are all wearing their safari outfits. We had a really good experience in there and the food was delicious.
We make a stop at Starbucks then head over to watch a couple of shows starting with Feathered Friends in Flight then The Festival of the Lion King.
Up next its time for my main birthday treat! Wild Africa Trek located in Kilimanjaro Safari - The description for this adventure is :
Walk along a grassland path, cross a rope bridge and ride in a rugged safari vehicle over an open savanna-with a chance to view African creatures including towering giraffes, powerful rhinos, hippos and crocodiles.
Along your journey, your knowledgeable guide will share insights about the majestic animals you’re viewing, as well as details about the park’s dedication to animal conservation.
And as if your safari weren’t memorable enough, you’ll receive a complimentary souvenir as well!
However the weather had other ideas for us, we got all ready for it in all the gear but unfortunately and beyond anyone's control it had to be cancelled. Sadly they had no other availability for the duration of our stay so we will have to reschedule for another time!
We decide to take a look in the shops and explore the merch on offer again before heading to Disney Springs as there is a s'more we have seen online which is made fresh in front of you at the Ganachery. If you find yourself in Disney Springs you wont be disappointed with this treat, it was so good!
We take a look in Tommy Bahama then head back to the resort, we have a few hours around the pool then head for dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe, the food there was really good, we have the Buttermilk-fried Chicken. Ending the night we have a view of the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom right from our table!
We head back to the room and end the vlog there.

Happy birthday Alex. Grand floridian cafe was the most expensive meal we've had, because we came straight out and saw the wedding pavillion. 2 years later, we got married there. Great vlog.

A visit to the gingerbread house is a must do! Nothing like Disney all dressed up for the holidays! We went last November and the walk from Magic Kingdom to the grand Floridian and that little bit of time that we spent there was such a reset from the park! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Happy Birthday Alex! If you have not already, I highly suggest dining at Victoria and Albert’s at the Grand Floridian. My fiancé and I just had dinner there last night to celebrate our upcoming wedding and 6th anniversary together and it was AMAZING! I think you guys would really enjoy it. It was a difficult reservation for Giancarlo and I to get but it was the best dining experience we have ever had. Love watching your videos!

Is there a shoulder buddy for Stitch at all, that you have seen in any of the parks or in Disney Springs? I will be there for my birthday in 30 days.
I haven’t seen a stitch one in Disney World, the only place I’ve seen them is Disney land Paris.

Happy Birthday Alex. Fun Fact about squirrels. When they lay flat on their bellies on the ground like you described that is actually how they cool down when they feel too hot. It is called "splooting" and it is a real thing that you see them do in the hot Florida summer weather.
