    Andrew,
When you shut down your Fergie, I would recommend you shut off the sediment bowl valve and run the gas out of the carburetor and fuel line.
Your carburetor and fuel lines will not have fuel in them. Less water condensation will form in them. That will decrease the chances of water sitting in them causing rust.

Nice old tractor! They sure are really close to the Ford N series. I guess they would be since Ferguson helped to design the Ford's.

    Andrew,
I hope I am not too late. You should rebuild your original Marvel Schebler (M/S) carburetor rather than buying a cheaply made M/S reproduction. There are many excellent instructional video on how to do it with a minimum of tools.
If you did replace your carburetor with a repro, please keep the original M/S carb. One day you can restore it and then you will have an excellent carburetor for your lifetime.
Thanks for posting this video. I used your video to see what a TO-35 intake/exhaust manifold will look like on my 1951 Fergie TO-30. The exhaust side of my manifold is cracked. Both reproduction TO-30 and TO-35 manifolds are available, but since the TO-35 repro manifold are less expensive and have superior performance. I am going with the TO-35.

@edzgarage I use this tractor for everything around my place. Fergusons, I think, came in the mid 1930s.

Poor tractor,I bet it does'nt go out nights with that paint job. Quite a few parts missing ,but sounds ok. I used to go often in my school lunch hour to the a tractor dealers field behind his garage and walk up and down the rows of mostly TE20's the year was 1963 Wales UK. The dealer had taken on the Ferguson franchise in 1946, but had changed to International in 1956 ,I think because of the bad bad, starting of the diesel at that time. If I had been allowed by my uncle,I should have liked yo buy a scrapper and taken it home to fix up,proably for about £12 ,( about 33 us dollars at the time) Ah! the dream of a 12 year old! This young fellow is off to a good start anyway!

that thing runs great, and starts just like my 1950 TO20. These tractors are amazing.
