just like everyone else is saying, i highly highly recommend watching dance practices because IZONE choreo is insane and does not disappoint, especially their use of formation, space and just how many members they have! hope to see a video for the dance practices soon
there's a reason why izone is one of the greatest kpop groups of all time, they are amazing personalities, amazing vocalists, amazing dancers, amazing performers. if u werent thre when they were promoting for 2 and a half years, well then im sorry cuz u missed out on a cultural reset
i think you should watch all the dance practices for these. even the ones that weren’t your taste, the choreo is so good. & izone was formed through a survival show & for every survival group their contract last for 2 1/2 years. & to answer your question as to why they couldn’t go on.. the reason why they can’t stay as a group is bc they’re already signed to whatever company they came from, so once their contract is up they have to go back to their agencies. i forget what survival group it was (not izone) but there was talks in maybe extending said groups contract but everyones company had to agree to it, & in the end it didn’t work out so they disbanded. it sucks bc you get so attached then reality hits when you realize you only have 2 1/2 years with the group 😭😭
Variety shows give you a better sense of the girls as individuals and performers. Alot of their mechanical approaches to their visual shots has to do a lot with this group's cohesiveness . I think in comparison with IOI the girls are a bit more polished, but in the process we lose their personalities and colors due to these sort of aesthetic restrictions. You tend to see this more often with bigger girl groups that are a bit more bubblegum pop or rooted in dance/house, especially if the group is not from a massive company that oversees management extensively. There was a clear bias towards members who fit the generic mold back then, most specifically Wonyoung since she was the center of the group and the maknae. You really only see glimpses of personality through mvs; this specifically includes minimal approaches to how the girls acted when filming -elegance, youthfulness/cuteness, assertiveness/rigidness, and majesticness were sort of molds the girls had to stick to. Although in general it was mostly separated by scenes recording the dancers, models, singers, rappers, and vague catchall positions of the group.
Watching you react to IZ*ONE takes me back to when I first stan them and that was their debut. I miss them so much and keep listening to their songs. I'm happy that you still react to their stuffs even though they disbanded. You won't regret this🥺😍💕
Bsides are amazing, especially Sequence. Also you get a better sense of their individuality and star power in their live performances. I recommend their MAMA 2020 Panorama performance.

You have to watch their dance practices and others...As of now,2 of them re-debuted as soloists(Eunbi debuted with 'OPEN' with the leading title track,'Door' followed by Yuri,who debuted just a month ago with Glassy,and Yena who's going to debut as soloist too next year),2 of them having their actress debuts(Both main leads in different drama,Yena in The World of My 17 and Hyewon in Best Mistake S3),2 members of IVE(Starship NGG),Wonyoung and Yujin debuting soon,and the others is still pending...There were initial talks about a contract extension earlier this year but failed(And CJ ENM announced 3 days before their supposed 1st concert in 2021 which eventually became their last one,even the members were informed at the same day WIZ*ONEs did)...WIZ*ONEs also did a project called 'Parallel Universe'(with the name taken from one of the unreleased songs they performed on OTS) but even that was announced to have been failed too(Due to some agency not in favor of it,which many people assumed to be Starship since they're the only ones who wasn't in favor of the contract extension,due to them having some kind of conflict with CJ ENM)
I think you should check out Sequence, Merry Go Round, Highlight, Mise En Scene, and Rumor...also ALL the dance practices. They are the most in sync group according to those computer algorithms.
What made me like them were their bsides and they have the best performance among 4th Gen girlgroup and their overall stage presence is insane bc each of their member could actually debut as a solo just by the aura and them all together is insane. Moreover even though they are 12 after listening to them a view times you could distinguish each members voice easily bc they have pretty unique vocals.
IZ*ONE....the show (since we all know now that it was rigged) formed the group with visuals and dancing in mind. They all (for the most part) have very similar timbre voices......but it makes sense with all their songs. They're all so CHOREO heavy. One thing though, they all can sing SUPER HIGH, their songs are way way way high in key. i'd say the one voice that stands out is Yuri (the red head in La vi en rose and Swan). All of their main comebacks are very similar to each other but they all do grow on you. (They are all masterfly mixed and produced)
you should definitely check out the B sides, the girls show much more in those songs and you might find something you really like as they have a lot of genres in their B sides than the title tracks.
izone looks soooo sterile, way too clean and perfect. Their music all bops, but sounded like produced by fisher price lol. still love them, they were hitting hard
i originally disliked izone, mainly because of how many nasly voices there were but after maybe a month of waiting and a few replays i grew to really appreciate them and they became one of my favourite groups when it came to songs and especially the choreo's... i really wish they had atleast a year or two more in their contracts but just like everything sweet they dont last.
pls react to their dance practise videos and their b sides are more to your liking. You should see their stage for ayayaya and so curious. BOPS I tell you Bops. Ayayaya is more girl crush more tropical dance while so curious is kinda giving off 2nd gen cute concept vibes. Pls react to them
I think their debut was inspired by TWICE, but after that they try their own stuff. I think they are more similar to LOONA, with a very good level in dance. FIESTA is clearly the best song and MV.
I'm not a fan of the song but I love the choreos 💜.. these concepts are 99% beauty shots and is hard to get charisma from them.. maybe a performance would be better
Izone vocalists are overall terrible imo,, theres 2-4 good ones and a half, the rest are layering... there was a jpn song called vampire or smth with minimal layering and it sounds so bad
