Just listening to you is soothing and reading the comments of others makes me feel I’m not alone. Im an introvert. Dr. Albert surely one or the other must be better in terms of thrombosed hemorrhoids breaking down and clearing out? I thought in general it was understood that heat relaxes\loosens muscles and promotes more blood flow where cold constricts muscles and pushes blood out. Hence why professional arm wrestlers ice their arms between rounds so they don't get inflamed from the blood pressure. So which would you recommend for speeding up blood clot breakdown and reabsorption which should theoretically reduce swelling as well as a result? Thank you!

Great video doc! My trigger for my hemmis are after every lecture that I give at my university I guess my blood pressure must be increased. Over the last 2 weeks, I have found that having a daily banana helps with this but I'm still wondering if you have every heard of anything that people take to make them more chill?
ps. I'm also very active and rarely sit during my lectures so I get your point when you talk about standing and gravity working against me with my situation.

Ho Dr. You've mentioned on this video that you may be able to make individual recommendations. I I've had hemorrhoids problems for the past 25+ years. I've delt with out with fiber supplements and over the counter creams. Now however, I feel like they appear larger than usual and they are not responding too well to over the counter creams and ointments. Two risk factors I belive apply to me. I've been lifting weights since I was 17 years old and I tend to stress out often. Is there a way that I can send you a clear photo of my current flar of hemorrhoids so you can provide high level insights on it?. I don't consider this a medical advise just your thoughts. How can I get that picture to you?.
    Thanks,
    Frank

Hot worked for me. One day I had a flare and had troubles sitting/walking. I mixed almond oil with a little pure cayenne tincture and applied externally. I never had issues like this again. 30mins after I was able to finally walk and sit. I was still get some sharp pains but nothing like before. I did this 2x/day (followed by other best practices) and this being my 5th day, I feel like I'm nearly back to normal. I'm determined that this is the last time I'm gone to have another flare. I'll continue taking care of my diet. Not being able to walk/sit was scary and I'm glad cayenne was able to help with blood flow

These are the things I did that were game changers , reduced pain and discomfort significantly
    1. Squatty Potty : I cannot stress enough on how important it was to change posture to bring down strain on veins. Difference was immediate. All I did was use a step stool. Initially I was using it for bowel movements but eventually for emptying bladder as well. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT thing I did to bring down pain.
    2. Stool Softener : helped more than Fiber
    3. Sitz Bath/ hot compress : I know many of you swear by cold compress but hot one brought comfort to me and sitz bath reduced pain. But since squatty potty ,pain has gone so I spend less time doing hot compress
    4. Zinc oxide cream. Hydrocortisone 1% and preparation H, I use them sometimes together or in combination. I would say use them and see which one is effective for you, but as Dr Chung says use tiny bit, don’t go overboard.
    4. Walk/ light exercise. Don’t sit for too long especially on hard surfaces.
I hope this helps for those looking for tips. These work during flare ups.
I had one episode of external thrombosed hemrd once and it was hell. I suffered for three days and then it burst after I did hot compress.
I cannot THANK DR CHUNG enough . His videos have helped me tremendously and everyone here who shared their experiences.
I hope you all find comfort and heal soon. Good luck.
