- The most unbelievable rock pool full of fish, anyone can catch amazing fish in this pool. It was incredible to see both fresh and saltwater fish living in the same water fish pond! Hand feeding the turtle and swimming with the fish was awesome, enjoy the video.

This is literally the oddest thing I’ve ever seen freshwater carp and salt water trevs nature really does find away
I think there was a saltwater pond somewhere that got diluted by rain so that the trevally living in it got slowly accustomed to the fresh water. I think they even sell them at some pet stores

Common carp are also able to handle a pretty wide range of salinities and do well in brackish waters like this
@@masonkuhlmann7286 well that’s surely noted but during high tide I’m sure these ponds get filled with saltwater so I’m just really surprised that they adapted that well but the trevs not really that surprised cause I have some GT’s in my freshwater pond but thanks for the info anyways.

I live in Hawaii and there’s this hotel/restaurant my family used to go to called Pagoda, and the restaurant is surrounded by one giant pool of koi fish. And in this pool that you can walk around, they actually have a Giant Trevally that swims through the waters! I grew up watching this fish, this fish is older than me. This is actually because trevally can stand brackish waters and live in surprisingly low salinity compared to other saltwater fish.

That place looks like a Trivially hatchery. So many fish, it was so cool.🤙
In Hawaii where I live we have canals and streams that from the mountain the water goes into the ocean and as you get near the ocean the fresh water and salt water are mix and what we call brackish water. All kinds of different fish live in that water we call the papio it a trivoli also have mullet,ahole ahole and tilapia. The papio is he strong fish that can live in freshwater.

I think they use that as a waste disposal tank. The hut is right on top where they take a dump and falls below to get cleaned up by fish.
