I like to watch the changing at horse guards, which starts around 10, then as the Old Guard leaves, I walk quickly to Spur Road, on the St James Park side there is a brick wall I can climb on and sit to watch the movements to and from Wellington Barracks. Not a bad spot, as I am sitting and the better spots are full. All worth seeing, but is tough on kids not young enough to put on your shoulders. About the restrooms, he is right, there can be relief in St James Park facilities when open, but this can be an issue when your youngster has to go. All worth it though, been there often, always love it.
