- I found a Mod that completely RANDOMIZES every texture in Minecraft. Can I still build a Castle if all the blocks are randomized?

Maybe for another challenge, you do another with random textures, but this time you try to make it look good with the mod. It could be kind of funny to see a gradient that looks really good in the mod but turns out to be the worst color choice ever.
This video's gonna pop off like crazy I'm calling it. Really good idea you got there.
the temptation to just skip to the end to see what it looks like without the mod on is just- I can't.
I liked the part where you made the towers out of Wheat blocks. 🌾

personally I really enjoyed using Blast Furnace stairs and slabs to line the big doors of the castle

I really like the castle. Id have never even considered nether bricks work in this one, but it looks really cool! Next time you do such a challenge, give every block the same texture. I think thats even more hardcore 😄

Here's some challenge ideas I came up with
1) Build using no full blocks (ie, use stairs, slabs, walls, fences, etc)
2) Build in a quarter of a chunk (8x8 blocks)
3) Build using only blocks that have the word "block" in their names (Example: Grass block, Diamond block, Brick block)
Maybe you can keep the random textures thing and build another structure like a ship or monument, or a completely new challenge could be building something with darkness or the blindness effect on for another challenge

I really liked the castle and your determination, your videos are always fun too watch. Why dont you try and apply the mod to something on the botw map (or you could keep your sanity).
You should do the reverse next. Make something that looks good with the random textures and see if it still does with the normal ones
idea: we do the same thing, but the item names are also swapped

This was super entertaining to watch, and I think challenges like this are really cool.
Also, low key thought the random texture one looked pretty good
Not necessarily a "challenge", but it'd be fun if you could just screw around with building mods for a video. Things like effortless building, Chisel, XTones, Chisels & Bits (actually a different mod from chisel, it's kind of ridiculous) etc. for example! it could be a fun time.
Thats not a bad idea! I have some similar building challenges planned out, but I might add this to the to do list..

Was kinda hoping you were gonna build a castle blind, with only the randomized block textures as your palette (so basing the design off the randomized colors instead of what you know the original blcoks as). Great build either way, but I feel the final result would be more interesting if you dont know what blocks you're building with at all.

The mod is only for version 1.15.1 sadly, so I had to go back some versions for this specific build
