    i came across your video doing some research and yours by far is the best i found. i thought it would’ve been tough, but in my mind i made it more difficult than it wasn’t. so i did it plus lowered my toe shifter while i was at. thank you very much! the tip about wearing gloves…so glad i did

    Did you install a flat washer on the back connection point? The part only comes with one and the one that came on the old linkage looks too big

    • @justkillnbugz
      @justkillnbugz  10 місяців тому

      Thanks for the question! I did not use a flat washer on the back connection point. Per the instructions, the included spacer, or washer, was called out if you used the rear cover to give some support between the lever and the cover. In my application, the rear lever was curved so I did not use the rear cover and used the spacer, or washer, on the front. More of a preference call due to the gap I saw in the bolt depth. As always. I appreciate the feedback and ride safe.

    You mentioned to place a washer over the bolt but then on the nut you have another washer. how did you end up with two washers.

    • @justkillnbugz
      @justkillnbugz  11 місяців тому

      Thank you for your comments. There is no washer on the front acorn nut. It has a formed lip and I never show adding a washer on the front nut. But, I appreciate the mistaken criticism.
      It’s a good product, ride safe.

    Great video. Doing mine tomorrow. What bars do you have and what is that 1/2 wrench? Did you pick that up as a set? Thanks!!

    • @justkillnbugz
      @justkillnbugz  6 місяців тому

      Thank you. Much appreciated. The bars are Factory 47s 14”. I just used my standard craftsman box end wrench and pushed the lever fwd for access.
      Enjoy!

    Does it fit for the Low Rider ST too?

    • @justkillnbugz
      @justkillnbugz  Місяць тому +1

      Thanks for the question. It will not fit the stock LRST with mid controls, but will work if you upgrade the LRST to forward controls like I did in my install heritage fwd controls on a LRST video.

    Gloves? Ya right. I don’t need no dang gloves! Three minutes into the job and BAM! Knuckle right into an engine fin! I wonder if blood will hold as well as Locktite. Should have listened.

      lol. I hear ya. So many times myself. lol. And to answer your question, it does hold, just not as long as loctite lol.

    I bought the Amazon version for $20 instead of the Harley version for $140 - I doubt there's much of a difference

    Hey brutha, what kind of lift do you recommend? I’m looking for a good one. I have a 2022 road glide limited. Thanks in advance!

    • @justkillnbugz
      @justkillnbugz  2 роки тому +1

      Hey there, thanks for the question. I did a few videos on my lift, check out those and see what you think. I really like it once I got the valve issue corrected. I use it all the time and it works great. Lots of options too.

    Couldn’t make myself pay 150.00 for the Harley one. Picked up one on eBay for 22.00 with free shipping. Only difference is no Harley logo !!

    Good video but you did it wrong. What you called a ''washer'' and put on the front arm is called a ''spacer'' and goes on the rear arm as per instructions.
