Honestly, I've already beaten this game in every way possible, so whatever Woolie chooses, it's fine. I mean, maybe Woolie isn't one for roleplay or carryng much, but I'm down with Star Wars: Episode Pockets.
This is a fair point to make. It's not like any character he makes will be unable to do the good stuff in the game. Plus, getting your second class early enough lets you course correct if necessary.
I just want to make sure Pat eventually forces Woolie to get enough Repair to do the fun thing. I don't exactly remember, but I was a dumb kid and I went with Soldier. But I found out about the repair thing eventually and if I recall I managed to do it just fine, so hopefully he can to.
It's going to be really hard for him as a soldier. 1 Skill Point per level bites. The second class options won't help much either; Sentinel gives more skill points but doesn't get repair as a class skill. Consular gets repair but doesn't get extra skill points.
The KOTOR series introduced some of the best characters in the Star Wars Universe. I liked KOTOR 1 better than 2 but that game is sick as well. Makes me nostalgic of how Bioware used to be one of my favorite game developers. Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire, Mass Effect 1, 2, most of 3, Dragon Age Origins. It sucks that EA basically ruined their good reputation by fucking up their games post 2012 imo.
Man, the characters of KoTOR 2 were so fucking deep. Kreia, Atton, Atris... I just hated that piece of shit Bao-Dur because he did not have ANY emotion on his whisper-voice. Fuck you Bao-Dur.
Oh boy this's gonna be a long one. At least they realized it by making the episodes an hour. (e: I got Crazy Talked on this) I'm still tickled by the name the randomizer gave me the last time I played KotOR; Bran Polo. It's like Han's Chinese knockoff. I love it.
+scottski02 On my first run I named my character after a super strong fighter girl from some Star Wars EU novel I'd just read. Tenel Ka, I think it was? It was a dumb book, it focused on Han and Leia's kids and their adventures with Chewbacca's cousin Lowbacca and some human dude having a romance with a Jedi bird alien. I think it's still shitting up my bedroom's bookshelf. On my second run I had rolled a bald ugly Scoundrel and was flipping through the name generator cuz I couldn't think of what to call him. When Bran Polo came up I instantly went back (well, after laughing for a minute) and chose a Scout with an Asian face to complete the Chinese knockoff feel. Every time he introduced himself I giggled.
Jesus, Woolie!! Scroll through the objects in the environment - you left behind the remains of half the guys you killed and skipped half the loot containers.
One of KotOR 1 issues is that the game doesn't update containers when they get emptied, so he probably went through most of these containers already. He did miss some remains, though.
Furymgs3 weird, I've played on xbox, PC and android, and never once had that issue. I just figured Woolie doesnt know how to play RPGs and Pat is a dirty liar who is going to teach him how to play badly
holy shit, I can't fucking believe you're actually playing this. also the recommended videos for this are so fucked up and weird? it's recommending that I watch like a ton of lego videos
Goddamn. I was literally just thinking "Man, KotOR was a great fucking game, I should really play that again someday." You guys are mind readers or something.
Personally I like Kotor 2 better but I can understand why people like the original. For me what sells it are mods and if steam had a workshop for KOTOR 1, I'd be on it so fast.
If I recall correctly, if you pres "y" while outside of combat you'll do the sweet spin move. I might be wrong but I remember doing it back on the Xbox while running around.
I just read the description of this game on the Steam store page coz I was interested in buying it and it says "You are the last hope of the Jedi Order. Can you master the awesome power of the Force on your quest to save the Republic? Or will you fall to the lure of the dark side?" It's literally been under an hour and Woolie has already fallen.
I HIGHLY reccomend that you get the sequel. One of my favorite games of all time. Just make sure you get the Restoration Mod. There’s A LOT of fixes and cut content it brings in because LucasArts fucked over Obsidian and gave them only a year to make the game.
I wonder how upset Woolie is gonna be when he realizes that there are actual consequences for being Light/Dark sided in KotOR, especially relating to a lot of the end game stuff? It won't be as bad as it is in KotOR 2, but it still effects the end game here.
PAT YOU MANIAC. WE LOVE YOU. And we know. Oh we KNOW. That KotOR is merely a 'good' game. That in all truth, you are setting the stage for what you -really- wanted. Which is KotOR II. Even if it takes two years - we will wait. And wait. Kreia will have her due.
Pat would make an excellent Sith. His want of immortality by any means is right in line with them. But the universe spites him as only Jedi who DON'T want to be immortal are the ones to obtain it.
I can understand all the hype, but I know it's gonna turn around _real_ hard after a few episodes of watching these guys play a game we all (think we) know by heart. I'm setting my expectations squarely on the ground, but I'm doing so with a smile on my face.
Even worse when it is a stat heavy RPG with Woolie at the helm, and Pat "Guiding". He already let Woolie pump Charisma on a Soldier, this is gonna get bad quick.
Well, he did say he wanted to use Force powers. Honestly the real mistake here is choosing a Soldier in the first place when you want to pass skill/speech checks and use the Force. Not quite sure why Woolie chose that class.
The game is really easy and stat checks are almost non-existent. There's no point yelling at the screen unless you have a terminal case of minmaxing OCD.
hey guys just wanted to let you know the screen that shows the conversation log is also the screen that shows the combat numbers and rolls you get it says show feed back also on the xbox if you hit the x button on while it is pause you can queue up actions and get a list of actions going if you hit Y it will take away the last action you have queued up if you hit A on an action it will get rid of your list and queue that action as the next one also when you are not in combat and press Y it will twirl your weapons on the PC it is the X key hope this helps and can not wait for the next episode love it
Watching this LP for the first time. I love KOTOR and I love TBFP. Been awhile since I've watched anything from this channel, but I'm glad this is all still here for us.
I played Kotor II back in the day with no restoration mod and still thought the story was miles ahead of this game or any other star wars story I'd experienced.
Kotor 2 was great especially with the Lost content mod but personally i like Kotor 1 better because of all the places you get to visit. Besides Telos' surface, Trayus Academy and Freedon Nadd's temple the environments aren't that interesting in Kotor 2 when compared to the first plus the plot gets a little convoluted by the end.
YES!!!!! I just started playing this on Xbox and I hoped you guys would do it too!!!! I never finished it when I was little so I’m playing it now. It’s crazy how much stuff I remember. I never made it past tattooine I think because of some trial that resulted in me being executed. I was too young to figure it out.
DON'T TALK TO THE TUSKENS UNTIL AFTER YOU GET HK47, TRUST ME! Unless of course you're going for dark side stuff in which case do whatever. I just remember it being impossible to do that quest peacefully because the Tuskens would've already seen through your disguise and you wouldn't be able to enter dialogue even with HK47 in your party.
btw if you are going two hand definitely max flurry and burst of speed when you become a Jedi. you get 6 rounds each combat when maxed flurry for everything critical for bosses for that stun utility never do power useless with two hand toughness is also a solid feat you become very tanky and hard to kill
Pat: Scoundrel. That's... That's... Woolie: Han Solo. Me: Yes. Pat: Thief, slash... Thief. That's Rogue. Me: And also smooth-talker, but fine. Pat: Scout is... Jack of All Trades. Me: Well, more of the technical stuff. Engineer, explosives, repa- Woolie: Han Solo. Me: Is that... you're only Star Wars character? Pat: Soldier is a warrior. Me: Like Finn. Woolie: Poe. Me: The pilot? The... the guy who scouts? *Later* Pat: Charisma is [...] useless. Me: ...So it begins...
Charisma is pretty bad. It's best use is increasing DCs on force powers. Adding to persude is useless since you can hit 20 persude easily. It's effect on party members is mediocre at best. It's cheap to pump it to 14 on character creation for the DCs but not worth messing with beyond that. Wisdom is far superior as it adds force points, increase power DCs, and increases will saves.
@@devmin_dot_exe6551 I feel like the movies would of been different if it was JJ the whole way through. Because he set up things that just got thrown away by the other director
Phillip Palermo Doesn't matter. $10 says, he wouldn't understand the reveal anyway and Pat would have to explain it to him. Then he would misunderstand the explanation and Pat would have to reexplain it to him.
And Pat would give him a slightly different explanation each time, both of them wrong. I kid, I kid. In all seriousness, isn't it implied at the beginning of the LP that Woolie already knows? It's an open secret anyway, it's pretty much the most well-known twist in all of gaming at that point, along with "Aerith dies".
13:50 "Man, the Sith are jerks." "Well, that's literally that they're born that way, what are you gonna do." "N-No, they're not..." "Yeah, they were." "Ok, so wait, you actually know a little bit more than I thought you did." I was referring to that moment. I just assumed Woolie knew about the reveal and would play the game based on that.
Yeah, maybe you're right. I'm surprised by what you said about the game not being that well-known outside RPG circles, though. I thought the reveal was really that memetic nowadays.
I had to come back and start rewatching this LP because it’s one of those comfy let’s plays. I sure could use some comfort after the guys disbanding. All these old videos are kind of bittersweet now
mark Ervine I think the thing that EA especially doesn't understand is that people don't just want to play in the Star Wars universe, they want to live in it. If they put money and resources into a new Star Wars RPG they would make a fuckton of money, gain back some good will with the community, and if they get the right studio on it probably get some critical acclaim. It says a lot that Kotor I and II are still selling
The ginormous problem with Disney is they play it safe and copy what the SW fanbase is familiar with in the SW franchise rather than risking creating original story's or God forbid making a complex character like Kreia or interesting villains like Nihilus. I doubt a satisfying ending to Revan's story is coming any time soon.
In Kotor 2 if you kill enough innocent people around HK he will tell you how he managed to kill Jedi during his service to Revan. It's by far the most interesting dialogue in star wars besides the dialogue with Kreia that is.
I did both. But Tavion is the one I beat with the Flechette Weapon. Believe it or not, on my Evil playthrough, I beat Kyle _instantly_ by throwing my saber at him as soon as the cutscene finished. It was so sudden and anticlimatic I was certain it was yet another choice, like Rosh, and I just jumped the gun, but no, it was an actual boss battle.
Revan did some heinous crap but it's revealed later it was to build a strong opposition against another enemy planning on dominating the galaxy. The Republic couldn't do anything about it because it's weak and it rely's on the jedi a lot rather than it's own strength, Revan saw this and did something about it when no else would even if it meant bending his ethics. SWTOR says Revan did what he did cause he was brainwashed, thank god that's been erased.
I remember liking Carth. But then the rest of the party are all cooler (with the possible exception of Canderous) so I can see where people are coming from. Atton, on the other hand... I hated that dick.
I know I’m two years late here, but Taris wasn’t a sith controlled world at that point. After the battle, the sith invaded and conquered the planet in a matter of days. The military base was originally a republic military & science facility.
I remember getting stuck on the final boss and not being able to beat him. My main was a support healer and so she sucked at 1v1 and could barely hit the guy even with a bunch of boost items.
Yeah, that's one of the game's main issue. You pretty much have to be a beast by the end of the game, otherwise you'll have to cheese him. "Persuasion" types have it pretty bad in the last section. Personally I was a fragile speedster that didn't hit very hard but was pretty proficient with the Force, could evade like no other and almost never missed, but the final boss's stats were so high anyway that it negated it all. Had to run around like an idiot to stay alive.
Steven Clark I understand why people don't like it, but at that same time the idea that you could persuade someone effectively equivalent to the Emperor at this point is utterly ridiculous in my mind. He's evil and he loves it you gotta put them down.
Well, you're his former master, and it's pretty clear when you beat him that he has some level of regret for how his life turned out in the end. Besides, you could persuade the Master to kill himself in Fallout, and he was both megalomaniac AND dangerously insane about it. What if you could persuade Malak to just give up by proving... that... I dunno... his Sith are sterile or something?
There's really not much plot that's actually missable, Pat won't wrongsplain anything that's legitimately easy to already understand by just watching them play and Woolie won't really miss much. It's not like this game hides the major plot points from you once you get to them.
Every single thing woolie has been saying implies "I would like to be a rogue". - "I want dialogue options", "I like explosives", "You are saying I need a lot of repair skill?" What does pat tell him to pick? A fighter. Seriously...let him reroll Deep Pockets. Ok?
So I'm going to be honest and admit it. Kid me had no idea how to build a character properly and so my character became a drug junkie off of stims in order to get me through the game. I tried to not use them but whenever a difficult opponent appeared I had to inject a good 10 stims into my cheeks to cheese my way through it. It was a bad addiction really and I never really managed to shake it off. I assume my character died alone in some Nar Shaddaa alley a few years postgame.
"It doesn't matter if you're a Jedi, you can't survive your ship being blown up."

Ahhh this is truly the dark souls playthrough sequel we've been waiting for
Lucius Kayne hurts to watch after that
Thankfully items are pretty common when they're dropped so it doesn't bother me all that much.
it bugged me to no end that you just saw two Jedi with lightsabers and after being instructed to pick everything up you couldn't pick up the lightsabers you saw them still holding when they died
"Quick Attack is good, Empathy is bad..."
"Did you ever hear the tragedy, of Darth Patrick the Wrong? ...He could not save others from death, and not himself."
Skill boosting feats are a waste of feat points. He wasn't wrong.
The shitstorm ends exactly when it was scheduled to end... the last day of November
ResidentSleeper22 lol
ResidentSleeper22 Just in time for dick destroying December.
I never knew I wanted something so bad, without ever asking for it.
WELL, I ASKED!
I ASKED SUPER HARD!
Since they refuse to touch Battlefront 2, (for good reason) this makes for a much better LP.
I bet Woolie will be a great force-user. Midi-chlorian are just chemicals after all, aren't they ?
exactly my thought.
Nice.
! READER BROKEN !
um actually midi-chlorians are microscopic organisms lol
Yes, they're a symbiotic microorganism. The number of midi-chlorians that are in your cells determines the strength of your connection to the Force.
"I still pump and dump where I want."
-Woolie, 2017
Maddentown 2.0 let's GOOOOOOOO
I CLAPPED!
I CLAPPED WHEN I SAW IT!
*IT BROKE NEW GROUND!*
I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THIS! I CAN'T STOP SCREAMING!!
STAR WARS I FUCKING LOVE STAR WARS
YOU JUST KEEP HITTING THE FUCKING HOMERUNS DISNEY
Back to 9/11
Female character? Check. Ugliest character model? Check. All statpoints into charisma? Check. Alright, Woolie's definitely back on the controller.
Gunk Don't forget the soldier part of the charisma problem. Fine if a soldier gets force persuade, but damn is he off to a bad start stat-wise
Dont get me started...
It's fine. Pat just needs to teach Woolie about the secret landmine class and they'll have no problem.
"I'm a monster and need to replenish my chemicals."
Haha I thought the same thing. How you could not pick the fucking square haired fucker for a soldier.
1:05-1:06 are best womens.
alright, new 9 month LP
Started rewatching this play through in July of 2020. I miss you guys.
Never in my life have i needed something so much and never known until i received it.
All hail King Vegeta!
FUCKING.
FINALLY.
I'M SHARING THIS WITH THE WORLD.
PAT YOU BETTER BUG THE SHIT OUTTA WOOLIE FOR THE SITH LORDS CAUSE FUCK.
YES.
Oh shit, they're doing one of my favorite RPG's and my favorite Star Wars game! This is gonna be a sick playthrough, all hail Lord Revan.
Can't wait till they play 2, sith lord that eats planets
Just be careful not to spoil anything, fam.
(But yeah this is great, I'm super hyped)
The KOTOR series introduced some of the best characters in the Star Wars Universe. I liked KOTOR 1 better than 2 but that game is sick as well. Makes me nostalgic of how Bioware used to be one of my favorite game developers. Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire, Mass Effect 1, 2, most of 3, Dragon Age Origins. It sucks that EA basically ruined their good reputation by fucking up their games post 2012 imo.
Of course no spoilers. Such a good game.
Man, the characters of KoTOR 2 were so fucking deep. Kreia, Atton, Atris... I just hated that piece of shit Bao-Dur because he did not have ANY emotion on his whisper-voice. Fuck you Bao-Dur.
The rise of Darth Pockets.
Oh God...I know what you mean and I want it so much!
you can't wait till sheis an hot pocket?
Oh boy this's gonna be a long one. At least they realized it by making the episodes an hour. (e: I got Crazy Talked on this)
I'm still tickled by the name the randomizer gave me the last time I played KotOR; Bran Polo. It's like Han's Chinese knockoff. I love it.
gaminggoddess85 Awe man, that's great.
They're my favorite line of shirts, really
Bran Polo sounds like a shitty knock off star wars cereal.
I got Rina Lana. Heh, I liked it?
So it's a bug, then? I thought it was just an oversight or something. KotOR 2 doesn't have the same problem for me. Weird.
No, he straight up walked past a ton of shit. Like when he even mentions that hes looking for loot, hes walking past 2 bodies he never checked
Yeah, that's remains. Not containers. I'm specifically talking about containers.
DUDE NO FUCKING WAY YES
HYPE
Ooooooman, cant wait to see crazy talk in this one!!
holy shit, I can't fucking believe you're actually playing this. also the recommended videos for this are so fucked up and weird? it's recommending that I watch like a ton of lego videos
Thank god, I thought I was the only one getting this, I've been having this similar issue with several other videos too.
Weird in what way? Like, "Girl Squad Best Friends in Style"? And the name of the channel? Wolley Plays Kids Games. Can't escape crossing fate!
Yup same here. Lego, Star Stable Horses Game, and The Ellen Show clips. WTF?
This is very common on this channel. Especially the dead space 2 lp.
Also getting steven universe in drag for some reason. The internet is a mysterious place.
Goddamn. I was literally just thinking "Man, KotOR was a great fucking game, I should really play that again someday."
You guys are mind readers or something.
BDsprite they did the same with me and LA Noire
BDsprite Still is and always will be a great fucking game.
Personally I like Kotor 2 better but I can understand why people like the original. For me what sells it are mods and if steam had a workshop for KOTOR 1, I'd be on it so fast.
Time for my yearly re-watch of this series
Same
Favorite moments?
@@OrcintheBasement them laughing at how comically evil the dark side options are is my favorite thing honestly
If I recall correctly, if you pres "y" while outside of combat you'll do the sweet spin move. I might be wrong but I remember doing it back on the Xbox while running around.
Daren Brooks god that was the best shit. Just walking around with a double lightsaber and just randomly spinning that shit was great
If you buttonmashed it too, the weapon would just bug out and spin at the speed of sound
I love how at the beginning of the game they explicitly tell you not to press do cool shit button outside of combat.
its X on pc.
DUUUUUDE!
DUDE!
Exclamation: DUUUUUUUDE!
I'll be real glad if Woolie goes the evil douchebag route. I want to see that.
I just read the description of this game on the Steam store page coz I was interested in buying it and it says "You are the last hope of the Jedi Order. Can you master the awesome power of the Force on your quest to save the Republic? Or will you fall to the lure of the dark side?"
It's literally been under an hour and Woolie has already fallen.
Ellie Williams I'm gonna go ahead and help you out. If you want to bypass the heartache, find an Xbox Copy. The PC Version is so hard to play.
No, Woolie didn't fall. He jumped in with both feet.
I HIGHLY reccomend that you get the sequel. One of my favorite games of all time. Just make sure you get the Restoration Mod. There’s A LOT of fixes and cut content it brings in because LucasArts fucked over Obsidian and gave them only a year to make the game.
And thus begins the chronicle of Pockets The Sasuke.
And his quest to end Satchel the Itachi
I wonder how upset Woolie is gonna be when he realizes that there are actual consequences for being Light/Dark sided in KotOR, especially relating to a lot of the end game stuff? It won't be as bad as it is in KotOR 2, but it still effects the end game here.
Waaaghtatic back in the days when bioware cared about choices
PAT YOU MANIAC. WE LOVE YOU.
And we know.
Oh we KNOW.
That KotOR is merely a 'good' game. That in all truth, you are setting the stage for what you -really- wanted. Which is KotOR II. Even if it takes two years - we will wait.
And wait.
Kreia will have her due.
GohulGhouleh I always called her Gramma Crayola
I can feel a disturbance in the Force, as if someone is going to build a horrible, useless Consular build.
Pat would make an excellent Sith.
His want of immortality by any means is right in line with them.
But the universe spites him as only Jedi who DON'T want to be immortal are the ones to obtain it.
Wasn't one of the main bad guys in KOTOR II a sith who managed to keep himself alive by his anger? Imagine a half-sized version of that guy.
I'll just skip this LP and play Movie Battles 2, because this LP WILL BE PAINFUL, it will be super slow and wrong.
Charisma is useful for some force powers so it's not completely a waste.
The game is really easy and stat checks are almost non-existent. There's no point yelling at the screen unless you have a terminal case of minmaxing OCD.
Oh man, woolie behind the wheel of an RPG? This is will be a beautiful car crash in slow motion.
"I want all the dialogue options yet I will only choose the ones that make me look like an asshole"
-Woolie Madden, 2017
Will this video contain combat skills being upgraded?
Colin Kauffman UPRGRADE YOUR COMBAT SKILLS
Yes, yes it will...
Maybe you should think about adding some COMBAT FEATS.
I immediately dropped everything and clicked this notification.
"Aww, our breadsticks!"
hey guys just wanted to let you know the screen that shows the conversation log is also the screen that shows the combat numbers and rolls you get it says show feed back
also on the xbox if you hit the x button on while it is pause you can queue up actions and get a list of actions going if you hit Y it will take away the last action you have queued up if you hit A on an action it will get rid of your list and queue that action as the next one
also when you are not in combat and press Y it will twirl your weapons on the PC it is the X key
hope this helps and can not wait for the next episode love it
Watching this LP for the first time. I love KOTOR and I love TBFP. Been awhile since I've watched anything from this channel, but I'm glad this is all still here for us.
Oh my god I hope they do KotOR 2, since Woolie likes writing. That sweet, sweet, deep Obsidian writing...
「Scary Boi」and 『SCARY MONSTERS』 He better download the Restoration Mod, though, or else the story is fucked.
I played Kotor II back in the day with no restoration mod and still thought the story was miles ahead of this game or any other star wars story I'd experienced.
That sweet, sweet, half-finished writing
The greatest piece of Star Wars content that currently exists. We in there.
Xenochrist yeeeee boy
So true. I'm not much of a Star Wars fan and I enjoyed the fuck out of this.
Yo, what about Republic Commando tho?
Kotor 2 with the lost content mod is better.
OMFG THE GREATEST STAR WARS GAME & THE HYPEST OF FRIENDS ON UA-cam.
LET'S FUCKING GO.
I think KOTOR 2 is the better game....IF IT WAS FUCKING FINISHED!!!!!!
This ain't Republic Commando though.
Imperial Commando never ever. ;_:
Restored content mod, even if [RETACTED]'s death is still not even mentioned
Hard choice for me between this and Dark Forces II. That game has the best level design I've ever seen.
We finally get a “pockets” character. After the Rage of Africa loses his best friends Pockets in DEF jam
I am astonished you think Rage has friends.
Even though the group is gone, I’ll watch this because I know it will be good
This is the LP I'm looking for
Pat: Oh you never played an RPG on the channel?
Woolie: Final Fantasy Ten.
Me: ....what about Command Mission? ;_;
LeviGratton NO ONE CARES!!
yes, what about it?
He said a real rpg. Command Mission isn't because it's not really an rpg much like Final Fantasy X. You play as X and Titus not your own character.
Well Woolie's choosing to be an ass? Can't wait to see that ending!
Re-watching this with a twinge of sadness, but looking forward to Woolie's KOTOR 2 playthrough afterwards.
What'd you think about it? Got stuck in the late 80's- probably on 89.
"Critical strike is good, empathy is bad--"
- Pat, 2017
He's not wrong.
YES!!!!! I just started playing this on Xbox and I hoped you guys would do it too!!!!
I never finished it when I was little so I’m playing it now. It’s crazy how much stuff I remember. I never made it past tattooine I think because of some trial that resulted in me being executed. I was too young to figure it out.
Manaan
I beat this and KOTOR 2 twice each when i was like 15.
There was also a bug on the early discs where you couldn't get past a certain cut scene the npc would just constantly shake his head endlessly.
Well, I was 7. If it had been when I was 15, it probably wouldn't have been that difficult to figure out.
btw if you are going two hand definitely max flurry and burst of speed when you become a Jedi.
you get 6 rounds each combat when maxed
flurry for everything
critical for bosses for that stun utility
never do power useless with two hand
toughness is also a solid feat you become very tanky and hard to kill
toughness definitely saved my bacon when I played this as a dumb kid that sucked at character builds in rpgs.
I love how they always have he perfect LP’s that no one ever suspects
Pat: "Go all the way to the left"
*Woolie goes right, but then quickly goes to the left*
EVERY! SINGLE TIME!
i think i struck gold with this series while in quarantine.
Pat: Scoundrel. That's... That's...
Woolie: Han Solo.
Me: Yes.
Pat: Thief, slash... Thief. That's Rogue.
Me: And also smooth-talker, but fine.
Pat: Scout is... Jack of All Trades.
Me: Well, more of the technical stuff. Engineer, explosives, repa-
Woolie: Han Solo.
Me: Is that... you're only Star Wars character?
Pat: Soldier is a warrior.
Me: Like Finn.
Woolie: Poe.
Me: The pilot? The... the guy who scouts?
*Later*
Pat: Charisma is [...] useless.
Me: ...So it begins...
Finn is less a warrior and more a bumbling idiot. Rey is more of a warrior than Finn. Then again I hate both of those characters, but fuck it.
The Homo Demen The worst part is Finn had real potential.
@@Broomer52 it would be better but it certainly wouldn't be good
.......
**HAS A FUCKING STROKE**
*Mind explodes from 8th grade memories*
This coming from someone whose Not a Star Wars fan, is this game really that good?
+The Pickles Next only to the Dark Forces games, yes. It is the best Star Wars game.
DarkKnightGrave Aw geez someone should call a ambulance........
I hope Woolie doesnt know so he gets super hyped for the big reveal of this game.
Bro, everyone knows
13:50
"Man, the Sith are jerks."
"Well, that's literally that they're born that way, what are you gonna do."
"N-No, they're not..."
"Yeah, they were."
"Ok, so wait, you actually know a little bit more than I thought you did."
I was referring to that moment.
All these old videos are kind of bittersweet now
Same.
Let’s all just pretend that everything is normal and it’ll all be FINE! Just like a real divorce!
I can't believe they're playing it, this is going to be so awesome. A true classic.
OH YEAH
YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYE
I CANT FUCKING WAIT FOR HK-47
Meatbag
You know what I want? A new koltor made by obsidian with crazy customization similar to MH world.
Come on disney? I don't know where to file this.
mark Ervine I think the thing that EA especially doesn't understand is that people don't just want to play in the Star Wars universe, they want to live in it. If they put money and resources into a new Star Wars RPG they would make a fuckton of money, gain back some good will with the community, and if they get the right studio on it probably get some critical acclaim. It says a lot that Kotor I and II are still selling
It's not realistic...
If they really want to make money they should rerelease star wars galaxies.
Star Wars Uprising had some interesting stuff and that was made by Disney. Anoat being turned into a post apocalyptic coruscant is neat.
Did anyone else have the realization that this game is older than a lot of the fan base for most UA-cam channels.
i see someone snatched that name....
Every time I replay this game, I have to rewatch this lets play...which is about annually..😂
Wasn't Darth Nihilus from Kotor 2 able to just chill in space on a flying piece of junk that he moved with the force?
Nihilus is also literal death energy wearing clothes
the only star wars game we'll ever need, thanks best friends
Nate Youngbird Kotor 2, Battlefront 2 (the original), some of the Jedi Knight games, and Republic Commando are good.
This is gonna be a wild ride.
If we you ever want to beat a Jedi easily just use a shotgun. Just like Tyber Zann.
Tyber Zann is basically an Evil Big Boss who wants to actually rule shit.
Because he'd hired his enemies. With Money.
In Kotor 2 if you kill enough innocent people around HK he will tell you how he managed to kill Jedi during his service to Revan. It's by far the most interesting dialogue in star wars besides the dialogue with Kreia that is.
Reminds me of how I used to beat the final boss of Jedi Academy when I was younger.
You had best gone the evil route and fought Kyle Katarn, the coolest Jedi in the galaxy
#Revandidnothingwrong.
Jorg the Mercenary Spearman didn't Revan still killed a lot of people?
He made up for it canonically.
+MasterJunior93
They were Mandalorians, irrelevant.
HOLY SHIT did Bioware ever try their hardest to make this meme true or what?
Revan did some heinous crap but it's revealed later it was to build a strong opposition against another enemy planning on dominating the galaxy. The Republic couldn't do anything about it because it's weak and it rely's on the jedi a lot rather than it's own strength, Revan saw this and did something about it when no else would even if it meant bending his ethics. SWTOR says Revan did what he did cause he was brainwashed, thank god that's been erased.
So Pat hates Carth and yet he is dressed up like him in the opening animation...
that's called irony friend
In fairness Carth is probably one of the worst characters in this game.
just like Pat
I remember liking Carth. But then the rest of the party are all cooler (with the possible exception of Canderous) so I can see where people are coming from.
Atton, on the other hand... I hated that dick.
The problem is Carth's "issues" as a character are entirely based on him blaming himself for something that is in no way his fault.
Jade Empire when?
YESSSSSS
Pat hates that game so never.
Sleepy Vampire Waifu I forgot why he hated it
Why the *FUCK* would he hate Jade Empire? That's my BIG favorite.
Tbh I think Woolie would like Jade Empire more.
Man, rewatching this the thought just hit me... WTF is a Republic Cruiser doing above a Sith controlled world. I don't think they ever get into it.
I remembered speccing into a light sided consular who spammed forcewave, forcewaves and all the mines I could stockpile, cuz master speed was broken
Here's a challenge, prove the starforge is sterile!
“There’s no force breathe in space.”
Oh, if only they knew... 🤣
As a greedy little loot goblin the remains that got left on the ship before you took the escape pod hurt my heart 🤣
Who put this variety in my best friends channel?!
circular7 It wasn't me!
wait, part 1... this is not a one-shot! Oh boy, I never played these games, this will be a glorious experience! XD
Please don't look up any plot details if you don't know anything about the story. If you haven't been spoiled yet, remain unspoiled!
Go play it yourself, Pat's going to wrong-splain everything and Woolies going to not pay attention to 95% of of the game.
There's really not much plot that's actually missable, Pat won't wrongsplain anything that's legitimately easy to already understand by just watching them play and Woolie won't really miss much. It's not like this game hides the major plot points from you once you get to them.
I personally think it's worth playing yourself, but it's also my favorite game lol.
Quincy Cambrel yeah me too but when woolie just auto picked soldier I cringed so bad
Best let's play they ever played it's amazing.
Woolie: "Just turn me into someone else I guess."
Me: "Good...good. The foreshadowing is strong with you."
Every single thing woolie has been saying implies "I would like to be a rogue". - "I want dialogue options", "I like explosives", "You are saying I need a lot of repair skill?"
What does pat tell him to pick?
