The reason it looks similar to Chainsaw Man is bcoz the studio who animated it is the same n also concept in both of them r kinda same. Also it's part of Dark Trio which includes Chainsaw man, Jujustsu kaisen n Hell's Paradise which will be debuting this year. 😊

There's currently 1 season of Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as a movie. The 2nd season is on its way. You should for sure react to it, it's a fantastic show and I do believe it's right up your alley

It’s a dark anime essentially about fighting cursed spirits. The horror elements are awesome and the cast is lovable.

Well, if you enjoy dark fantasy, urban fantasy, and horror, Jujutsu Kaisen is the one for you. But it's also incredibly good, the characters are well-rounded and nicely developed, the "cursed energy/techniques system" is really well done and the plot is just on point.
I would really like to see you react to the anime.
If you like EVE you should check out his My hero academia season 6 cour 2 opening "Bokura-no"

Jujutsu was one of the best anime of recent years which quickly accumulated a large fan base. The Mappa studio producing these anime did a great job because both the TV series and the movie are of a very high quality. This is an anime that should be in the plan to watch of every person who likes anime. The Jujutsu endings are also cool.
Luke don't forget Re:Zero and Steins;Gate which are also worth keeping an eye on to replace Attack on Titan or any other anime in your schedule.
My 5 recommendations for reaction to anime openings and endings:
- Ousama Ranking (ENG title: Ranking of Kings) 2 openings & 2 endings - why will you like it? First of all, Vaundy performs the second opening (and you liked the first ending from Chainsaw Man), secondly the first opening and the two endings are also great (Yama and Milet perform the endings) and finally the anime itself is brilliant and one that may surprise you greatly.
- Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin (ENG title: Rainbow) 1 opening & 1 ending - why will you like it? One of the best openings in anime, and the ending is beautiful. Not to give too much away right now, it's a more serious vibe, heavier, something for an older audience, and it's simply one of the best anime.
- Barakamon 1 opening & 1 ending - why will you like it? Great opening and even better ending, anime with a lighter vibe that warms the heart, very positive anime, if you check out the opening and ending yourself you will understand.
- Bakuman 4 openings & 6 endings - why will you like it? This is an anime you can't walk away from, any self-respecting anime fan should see it. It will make you more immersed in the world of anime and manga learning the secrets of this world. And the openings are very cool and the endings too.
- Yakusoku no Neverland (ENG title: The Promised Neverland) 2 openings & 3 endings - why will you like it? Back to heavier climates. You will find here what you like Luke. The openings are great, one I think you heard on the stream but you can always do again on the video and the 2nd opening is brilliant. The endings are also really good and after watching this you will find for yourself that this is what you would like to watch (just like with my previous recommendations).
Oh don't worry they are definitely ones that could replace AOT 💯

Eve is one of the greatest jpop artists that has only recently been discovered by the mainstream after this song. You will find beautifully animated music videos will great music on Eve's channel. Please do check them out!
This anime is very standard action fight age rating, that one shot was not representative of the whole. I'd say it's similar in age rating to AOT, with AOT being a lot more mature in theming. Jujutsu Kaisen is super fun, but it's incomplete and therefore doesn't have a ton in the way of story threads (think how AOT season 1 was fun but didn't answer many questions at all). Eve was super big in the Japanese indie music sphere (he had a few breakout hits early on) and this opening was one of the first times he did a song for anime, definitely one of the biggest he had and has ever done. For many of us fans from his earlier days, it was a huge "omg our boy made it" moment.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a top contender for the next YT series reaction!

yeees pleeeeaaseee more Eve reactions 🤩 btw jujutsu kaisen it's indeed a good anime, but I think this video, which was made for the anime, has the style of Eve. Perhaps that's the reason you think the anime has a dark vibe (I am not telling is not the case, but I really think it looks even darker with Eve's touch). Most of his songs (and videos) are really deep in lyrics composition, the music is awesome :) and the videos are completely outstanding! :)
Jujutsu Kaisen sure will check your boxes and it is one season long + 1 film, but season 2 is scheduled for this year
Small confession, I legitimately bust out laughing at 0:50 when you referred to Eve as her. That aside, I was really excited to see this video upload (and slightly confused, because I was near-certain you had reacted to the JJK openings already).
Eve started out as an 'utaite'. An utaite is someone who does covers of other peoples' songs (often vocaloid songs) and posts them to UA-cam and/or NicoNico (a japanese youtube-equivalent). Eve, like most utaite, doesn't reveal his face in public, though he has done a few live concerts in the past. Eve became more popular in japan when he started writing his own songs, and then he wrote Kaikai Kitan for JJK and Ao no Waltz for the anime movie Josee, The Tiger And The Fish, and those two jumpstarted his popularity among more international audiences.
His music videos are really engaging; they tend to be visually stunning, as well as having their own mini-storylines within themselves. He even wrote a manga, Kara No Kioku, based around his song of the same name, and a light novel expanding upon the story of his music video How To Eat Life (again, the LN and Song have the same name).
Some people have mentioned Fight Song (the chainsaw man ending Eve wrote), and I will also endorse it, however I add the caveat if you do a video on Fight Song, watching/listening to How to Eat Life either in the same video or beforehand, because Fight Club's MV is a sequel to How to Eat Life, and I believe it will greatly improve the viewing experience if you've seen HTEL before Fight Song.
Finally, for non-anime songs, I would endorse Raison D'etre as one of Eve's more popular songs, and Yuseiboushi (english title = Living Idly and Dying as if Dreaming) out of my personal bias towards it and its stunning visuals.

Jujutsu Kaisen became one of my favourite mangas (I'm not saying it's the best out there, but I PERSONALLY like it a lot), so I totally loved the anime AND the movie. Can't wait for Season 2

The mangakas of JJK and Chainsaw Man are friends IRL, so they like to share ideas with each other. Naturally, their stories end up somewhat similar as a result. Needless to say, both are absolutely wonderful.

Jujutsu Kaisen is easily my #1 for which show I want you to watch, it's got everything in it, it's definitely adult, it can be light-hearted one moment, and extremely dark in the next, in terms of that once scene, it's pretty much the only one like it so far. Season 2 is coming out this summer, Season 1 is finished with 24(25?) episodes. It's absolutely amazing, you gotta watch it.
You should continue down the Eve rabbit hole! There's so many amazing songs and music videos to pair with them on his channel. Stuff like his recent release for Chainsaw Man: Fight Song, or his classics like Dramaturgy, Tokyo Ghetto, and Raison Detre.
Well recently Eve made a few songs for a movie called Bubble, the animation is insane and their music is as always great so check out their music video about it.

I think Jujutsu kaisen would be the best fit for reactions after Attack on Titan. RIght now it has 24 Eps but season 2 start in summer this year so u could potentially just continue with the reactions on weekly basis then.

The MC is literally sentenced to death from the first chapter and his death is unavoidable, mahito's existence, yuji's cog mentality, kenjaku's plan, the truth behind the cursed wombs, Tengen's vessels, the shibuya massacre, what do you mean not dark?
The editing on that video was amazing, holy crap they did an awesome job.

Well in jujutsu kaisen you got gore and violence so i would go for 15+. It is a really good show for someone who did not watch a lot of anime cause for a lot of people who watch tons of anime therre are some predictable tropes buuuut if you are new to anime that should not be a problem and you can enjoy yourself fully. There was one big season of 20+ episodes and a prequel movie called jujutsu kaisen:0 the next season is already in production but i am not sure when it comes out in july of this year. As for anime you are watching those are all bangers. So just enjoy yourself with the shows.
*Day 26:* I recommend all of the "Katekyo Hitman Reborn" Openings or all of the "To Aru" Openings

it has 1 season and 1 movie(it's a prequel of the season 1) and season 2 will be released this July. it's made from same studio that makes Chainsaw Man, Mappa.
Jujutsu Kaisen would be really good another Anime that I would love to see you watch is Demon Slayer it has 2 seasons and a movie with the third airing this march and its really good. Its one of those dark animes that also have a bit of humor and really good characters.

As some other comments have mentioned, the animation of Jujutsu Kaisen looks similar to Chainsaw man because they both are being adapted by the same anime studio, and the authors of the original manga are friends who sometimes trade ideas with each other. One additional reason is that they are both part of a similar movement in manga/anime, where action/battle series are implementing a number of horror elements into their stories.
The story - at least thus far in the anime, as I haven't read the manga - revolves around a group of sorcerers who use the power of "cursed energy" to fight sentient curses, or concentrations of "cursed energy" that have managed to form their own identity and body. There's also an overarching story about a legendary sorcerer and a reincarnation plot, but the series adapted so far focuses more on typical fighting anime beats.
Yeah, Eve has some amazing music and lately hes starting to get openings and endings in anime, which is dope. Fyi he does the last ending for Chainsaw Man and the song is great, but the best part is the music video, since its about a manga that Eve co creates. His songs and mvs are all pretty dope, full of symbolism and the lyrics are quite meaningfull.
As for Jujutsu Kaisen, you would probably like it. Great animation, great story and the fact that they had Eve for the first opening is just amazing. They even filled the opening with tiny little eater eggs and references to the show, that you only get after watching it.
As for what Eve songs you should watch I would say all, but I guess you could start with something like How to eat life, Fight song(Chainsaw Man ed12), Raison d’etre or Leo. Those would probably have to some of my favorites of his song.

Jujutsu kaisen has 24 episodes (one seasons with a second coming) and a movie. It’s a really good show and I personally like it more than attack on Titan and chainsaw man. I highly recommend it.

JJK season 1 has 2 openings, the second one is awesome both the song as the animation style, I think is directed by the same guy of Chainsaw Man opening. I recommend you to react to the OP 2, sure you will love the song!
Tbh they probably chose one of the most suitable singer for the 1st op of Jujutsu. Most EVE's mv are like this, they're abstract, gruesome, weird and deep meaning, or they even don't have meaning but leave a lot of impression to people to decipher. That's exactly how jujutsu monster and concept of curses are like. Tbf I don't think the story of Jujutsu kaisen is that impressive. It's very kinda baseline story just for it to be the ground for the anime to stand on. The rest of that what makes it fucking incredible is the action and god tier sugar coated animation that leave your eyes wide open for a whole 20 minutes. And yea the movie is also a chef kiss. This is one of the must watch after AOT.
