Op 3 and ED 3 just hit differently especially the lyrics when you read them and its a song to Geto from Gojo. 😭
The OP is a song about the feelings from Gojo to Geto, but the ED is the exact opposite as it is a song about the feelings from Geto to Gojo.
It is clear from the first lyric of the ED. "I should have confided in you before my good intentions were destroyed."

Anime studios usually hire singers for openings and endings, but rarely buy the rights to use existing songs. (eg. Great Pretender ending - they bought the rights to use Freddie Mercury's song)

Just a little heads up prepare yourself for when you start watching JJK. They tend to use specific colors for the later openings, blue means sadness, red means blood, and there will be alot of it. Tragedy and this story are completley intwined with one another and it gets heavy.
