My husband built the dive pool there a few years ago. And Virgel the turtle is cool!
Nice, I want one that size myself.
You PFP looks like M&M
You inspired me to start doing scuba diving and now I am a advanced dived
Diver
congratulations!
Congratulations and well done :-)
I wish I could be but I’m just a child and my parents don’t like diving so I can’t even get certified
@@bigbird8592 you have free diving
I like all of your videos for their explicit and clear narration. Even a native foreigner like me can understand 99% of it. High quality channel and videos. 😎
I agree!
ワオ
So I do. Like an English lesson.
Jonathan, thanks so much. After watching this video earlier this year I planned a trip there and went in Nov. Had a great time and met Virgil......until all the student muddied up the water. The first dive was crystal clear with 72 degree water. After that it was only nice at 60ft and below where they aren't on subsequent dives. Other than the murkey 2nd and 3rd dive it was a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone. Just get there and get in before the crowd! Cheers
Virgil is actually a girl. And don’t forget baby Virgil is around there somewhere.
I’ve been watching for years! I’m 13 now and have been enjoying your content for about 3-4 years, keep it up guys
Thanks for watching!
BlueWorldTV I remember in 4th grade begging my teacher to show your videos in class, we spent the day watching your video on the beluga whale, I think his name was Sully
"IS IT A CAVE CRAYFISH?! A BLIND CAVE FISH?!
IT'S.. IT'S..
...an action figure!"
Jonathan: Compose something heroic for this shot Zimmie.
Why is there an action figure in an underwanter cave standing perfectly straight and is very famous
Jonathan...I sure have missed you and your Blue World !!!! It's good to be back.
That cavern looks super fun!
The action figure is a space marine in ATAX A.T.A.X. (Alien Tactical Advantage Explorer) gear from an action figure series based on the Aliens movie franchise.
Yes!! That's him!

Love your videos so Please stay on youtube.
I agree
I spent so long looking for a picture or video of a well pipe sticking into a Florida aquifer cave and I finally found it! Thank you so much. It's exactly as unsettling as I expected.
I love jonathan bird the first video i watched was the one about bull sharks and also I might be getting my scuba licence this year or next year anf watching blue world tv is gonna help and its fun to watch. THANKS JONATHAN BIRD
That’s the same way I whanted to scuba dive
Hi I’m Super Venom! And he is Jonathan bird! And welcome to our world!
Is there any cave in the world you haven’t been Mr. Bird. So now I know the difference between a cavern & cave . Learn something every time I watch one of your videos
Oh there are many many caves I haven't been!
Jonathan thanks for all the great videos and taking us along on your adventures
Ahahha... So... You guys going into the dark cave that fulllll of water, to meet the bathup and action figure? Sooo cool🙌🙌🙌
Have dove this cavern a number of times. I think its best feature is that not only does it have the incredibly clear water but it has the volume of area to really get a feel of just how clear it is. You can get that feeling of being in space! Thanks for the great Video.
I was just there! Amazing place and you should go back there again! Virgil has a new friend now :-D
Beautiful water world! God bless you Jonathan!
Absolutely beautiful as always thanks Jonathan. I've never dove before but watching your videos makes me feel like I have :-)
Wow it's just fantastic..
OMG THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I SEE SOMETHING AMAZING!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
That's where I got certified!
just got my first blue world T-shirt today !! it's amazing! Love this channel and Jonathan haha. Thank you for all the amazing vids !!
We dove the Blue Grotto on Feb 11, 1979. Tom McQuarie (sp) and his wife helped us there (as owners, custodians, or such). We were treated well -- no gouging or rip-offs. Very friendly atmosphere and nice air fills after dive... We were "Cavern" certified. Powerful lights needed to thoroughly enjoy. The air bell was there at 35' according to my log. It was very helpful in discussing with my buddy what to do next and take a short break from the regulator... Huge room inside with lots of fish, but I don't remember a friendly turtle (probably hadn't been born yet). Our maximum depth was 100' with an average depth of 55'. Visibility was 100' +. We were the first in that day, so visibility and conditions were excellent.... Great place to dive!
The fish were looking at you in a person tank
😂😂
That was where I got certified. Now I dive every weekend. Love it so much.
Awesome!
This channel is why I learned to scuba dive.
Awesome to hear!!
another great episode, just watching cave dive episodes gives me a claustophic feeling
Jonathan birth so much very nice video 🔧👍👌👈💐
I dove here about 2 months after this was posted and got my open water certification. You got me into underwater exploration and I can't thank you enough
Woo hoo!
So cool! I loved the soft shelled turtle
You can tell people have been feeding that turtle :)
Enjoyed and gave a Thumbs Up also
Wow these amazing underwater worlds are so beautiful❤💗
Hi Cameraman Zach! Nice to meet you
This was my 2nd open water certification dive way back in 1999!
I love your videos keep going
We will!
BG is a fun place to dive. I just got back from diving cave country two weeks ago myself. I was told "Lester" is a girl. Thx for the video Jon.
Yeah, the turtle is female! LOL. I want to get back down and do some more Florida cave diving!
I must experience this place someday.
Amazing. I wish we had some Bluewater diving here in the UK.
A UK episode would be great, lots of good wreck dives around Plymouth or just the south coast in general
David that would be good. @blueworldtv let us know if you plan one.
You mean the English channel is not blue water lol
You create such a amazing and beautiful videos. Thank you for showing what's inside the blue holes
Glad you like them!
How do you not have more subs!?!?
THAT is a good question.
Favourite series to watch on UA-cam ❤️ please keep doing more vids
The fish at the bell, beautiful, the turtle, lovely but the most famous one, that was awesome 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's good video with wonderful music.
Zimmy here. Sorry it took so long to reply. Glad you liked my music score for this episode. It was fun to do. Keep watching Blue World!!
When i was doing my training on one of the platforms virgil was swimming all around me and the other divers
I've dove this amazing hole before and the water is amazingly clear, and it's just breathtaking when you only get to dive in murky water! I suggest this spot to anyone, it's very easy to dive and everyone is very friendly
An action figure is the STAR of this video..lol😂😂😂
I really like your all videos
Wow So cool you can breath in the inside it so cool😁😁
Welcome to Jonathan Birds Blue World!! :D
Stunning footage.
This is my favourite UA-cam channel I can’t stop watching your videos

What a really beautiful world. Thank you for taking us there!
Going here tomorrow for last open water dives. Can't wait to meet the turtle. Meet one at Lake Denton on first five.
Your channel rocks Johnathan:)
Jonathan I just have to let you know as a conversationalist or interviewer you are a NATURAL. You 'Pace' brilliantly!. Did you get any coaching?
Thanks. No I just shut up and let people tell me their story! LOL
@@BlueWorldTV I can see where it is you pull back and stop talking. Do you know what 'pacing' means? I am into body language and pacing is when you reflect your interviewee, reducing their inhibitions, making them feel safe and comfortable and that they are allowed to be themselves. For instance, the guy at the blue grotto you were talking with. That guy had his arm resting on the railing and so, gee, you do as well. One doesn't make it obvious, obviously...you are a natural! Rare to find, Jonathan! Love the family stuff!! Blue ribbon parents! Huggs!
Love your videos!!!
I got certified there, it’s gorgeous!!
Woo!! Great video
Awesome......!!!
Wow so beautiful and amazing!😍😱 huge thanks Sir Jonathan and to your cameraman. Keep safe always 😍💕
Did this dive a few days ago along with Devils Den and Ginnie Springs, Virgil even came out, highly recommended it!
You are the one and only king of Seas and caves 👑
Awesome video ! I love blue grotto, been there a couple of times already but only in the cavern area! 🤙
For one second I thought the rebreather diver with the pink fins is Woody from the Dive Talk
Beautiful
Go to Monterey, CA
thank you for sharing your explorations with us. much appreciated 🥰
Mr.Bird next time your in florida I would love to go diving with you and your crew. I'm near the ocala area. Blue grotto is one of my favorite dive locations. That beautiful deep blue color you see when you come back up from 100ft.
I loved it!!!
Jonnathan im a big fan
I just had to go get my husband to watch the segment with Virgil; he'd never seen a soft-shell turtle before, and loved it!
Blue Grotto seems to have changed management now, the place was full of Freedivers (competition snorkelers), with bouys and lines to promote that, right over muddy areas of the bottom. A huge bus and a car were nearly blocking the path to the ramp down to the deck, with banners on the bus promoting the Freediving. Now the entry deck is a bunch of interconnected plastic blocks that flex and move under foot, providing a very unstable platform for a heavily weighted scuba diver, though they do have an additional wooden stairway into the water (which was covered by a very thin layer of very slippery algae). Visibility was poor all the way to Peace rock at 50 feet, due to diver kickup. The rope that used to go down to 80 feet is now gone, and instead there are two warning signs, the right one is at 80 feet and the other is at 85 feet. the 80 foot was on its side, I righted it. Did not see any of the previous little statues, the turtle, manatee or mermaid. The water had a lot of students in it too, had to wait awhile to get out at the stairs. My buddy said it looked like the boulders at the bottom on the right side look different, like they might have had a rock fall. Did look different to me, and we've dived here many times over the years. My buddy said she did see Virgil, at the end of the dive hiding under the dock. Not really a place for cavern and cave divers like it used to be. Going for the big money I guess. I expect the actual cave diving experience away from the main open cavern, being limited to certified cave divers, is probably still ok.
Beautiful video 📹
Thanks!
Great video Jonathan! I love watching your videos all of the time! Keep up the good content!
Hi love it
I live right next to blue grotto!!!, me and my friends go here all the time
Super👍❤️😁
Wow so cool Jonathan bird! Love it
5:37 look at that cool ludwigia (plant)! This looks like an awesome training spot! Jonathan you need to go cave diving at vortex springs! Multiple restrictions, tons of caverns, and the deepest point is over 300’!
I really love watching your videos. Your narration is excellent as well as the photography and background music. Your team really does a wonderful job. Thank you !!
I like Jonathan Bird's Blue World.
I had subscribe and open the bell. 😁😁
Just dove this site and Devil's Den over Labor Day weekend. Very cool, but get there early, and don't go during a busy holiday.
Loving the shortened intro, much faster to get right into the action. Great episode as always Birdman!
We have been using that intro style for like 2 years!
Yo your video si so cool
The original blue grotto is in Malta, you should go dive there sometimes !
Super cool to have visited this site and dive the same spot as a channel I’ve watched for years. Like seeing yourself on tv.
LOVE THE QUALITY ..OF THIS CHANNEL.
That turtle is so nice, it scared the hell out of me getting my fingers next to it but it was gentle as could be
Now the entire floating platform is above the dock. You can easily hit 100ft. And they have a new underwater aluminum platform. Just as beautiful.
Great video. Loved the turtle. I hope someone doesn't hurt him. Be safe,
Chris from Missouri
That diving bell is awesome!
It is kind of fun!
Jhonatan Very good video, like and loved it
❤️
i used to watch this channel when i was little
It's still just as good when you are big.
Amazing.
