I always wanted to get a HD camcorder and do this. Sweet videos. Every year I come up from California and hit up Lincoln City, been since I was a little kid. Oh yeah, Got to hit up Mo's restaurant too.

It looks very similar to the Bandon Beach area in Oregon.
I'm not sure if that is the beach you are referring to, but this looks EXACTLY like the beach from the movie The Goonies. I could envision the final scene from the movie right from this exact vantage point on the beach.
