- I'm not done yet but I'm very happy to show off my progress so far. Drilling, cutting, grinding, painting...lots of work has gone into this Sith hilt so far. I still have some clean up, maybe some more alterations, and certainly some distressing but my level of dissatisfaction on this is very low. A few oopses here and there but I'm an enthusiastic amateur and I can live with things being a little...organic.
Paint needs to dry and details need to be considered over time. I'm not done with this one but I may need a break before I do more to it. Time will tell.
Wow, that turned out really nice! I love the crystal in the pommel.
Thank you very much! I used a dual end lit core and that crystal is actually the crystal blade plug Vire offers. I had to pop the top off so it would fit in the pommel but it's perfect in there. I'm using the top of it as part of a blade plug I made from scrap blade tube in another one of my lightsabers. Recycling can be pretty awesome.

If you mean back story - yes. This is the hilt of the Sith who slaughtered a Jedi temple. The only survivor of that was a padawan who was contemplating leaving the order. He returned to find the carnage and constructed his lightsaber from the parts of the hilts of the temple guards. That would be the other back-lit saber build I showed off on my channel here.
If you mean ideas for my next build then also yes. 😀 I've been talking with a friend about what he wants in a hilt and we have plans...
If you mean suggestions for what you should make for yourself then also yes - look at all the parts available on the website you plan on using as your supplier and don't limit yourself to just using parts as is or as suggested. Think crazy and you'll come up with something unique and cool that you will love to own.
You should try to make a Jedi double weil lightsaber and I do not have money but I can see if I can make a light saber out of scrap its not gonna be pretty tho
@@tige798 "not pretty" lightsabers tend to be the coolest! Kylo's, Starkiller's, Cal's. Go for it and you may find yourself very happy!
