Hakeem is the best center in my opinion. You can put him on any team, any style, and he will win. He can literally do anything, he’s like Anthony Davis and Joel Embid combined pretty much.

Hakeem is one of the greatest big men of all-time. But it is abundantly clear, just from the highlights, that these players are not as skilled as modern players. Nor are they as athletic. If you were to actually watch full games from the 80s it is very apparent.
Look at giannis weak champ. Imagine Hakeem missing games in the playoff while his team advanced without him to the next round during a champ run. Yet that's exactly what happened to giannis in 2021. The 1971 Bucks played against an injured Lakers and Baltimore team. Yet you can still debate 1971 was more competitive than 2021. Which do you prefer? 1971 Bucks or 2021?
Kyrie played only three seasons with at least 70 regular season games. Yes you heard that right, only three. Funny to watch casual who obviously don't watch the game all year get amazed by Kyrie "skills"
@@ratstar4102 There is a reason nobody shoots hook shots anymore; they are bad shots. And because modern bigs don't shoot mid-range shots in game, doesn't mean they can't make them; mid-range is less efficient. Hence modern bigs shooting threes.

Most underrated player of all time imo
he is better than Wilt, Kareem and Shaq. He is the real GOAT center.
Bro that looks like a 2k stat line I literally said out loud that stat line isn’t real😂
They don’t know how good Hakeem was

Goat center
Wilt
Hakeem top 5 all time
how underrated he is in all-time considerations is criminal.
What a player, what an era
He was Akeem Olajuwon at this point, this is when he was a tempered young player early in his career
you will never see Jokic do this.....
Master at the shake
according to Ant none of these players had any skill though 😂
He’s right. I would lock up Hakeem
He is an idiot hakeem is a 7 footer who moved like a gaurd
Hes right MJ & Hakeem were plumbers
He definitely was not talking about Hakeem

Literally dropped my bottom lip at the stat line but then realized…. it’s Hakeem 🤷🏾♂️
We not done with the 80s and 90s
WE DONE WITH THE 1900'S
Damn the game evolved so much… I remember being so amazed watching Hakeem as a kid, but watching now he looks like bench player 😅
? How many 'bench players' are doing 4:17?
no way. I don't see anyone modern day hanging with hakeem. He'd be the best player in todays game easy.
There will never be another. Any top 10 list that doesn't have him is invalid.
He is in my top 10 but like at 10, so i can see if someone don’t have him in their top 10
I love hakeem but he's 11-14 range
@@lloydstanford6070 that’s fair i say he is no higher than 10 but 11-15 is a good range

back then those plumber centers and power forwards can hit mid range shots compared to these Gen Z Bigmen players who cant do nothing in 15th footer
Wrong
They can shoot midrange but the offense don’t allow them too. The midrange is very crucial and i wish more players would use it more
