I read books over and over again and my family doesn’t understand it but what they don’t know is the only way for me not to become a sobbing mess or go insane is to read about my favorite characters over and over and over again.

Ugh.... nooooo! Don't remind me of the fact that somehow, someday, I'll outgrow books, and my favourite fictional characters will be forgotten..... Excuse me becoming a sobing emotional mess over in the corner, holding onto my favourite books and mumbling nonsensical crap and in general, looking like I belong in an asylum.
That poem at 1:57 is beautiful and almost made me cry, so I re-listened to it maybe ten times and **possibly** shed a few tears so I could copy it for y'all. Here it is:

I think villains are misjudged and that most of the time, we don’t get to see their story, because if we knew it, the hero would not seem so full of glory. Monsters are made, not born, and any soul tortured, confused, and abused incidentally would not have time to mourn. So the next time I defend the villain of the tale, remember that they too were once broken and frail.

Like I enjoy romance as a sub-plot like Percabeth in PJO or Kat&Hale in Heist Society etc. but just not as the main plot. Or, well, Ig I wouldn't mind a romance novel, I just don't like...intense romance? Y'know? Bleh, not. my. thing. 🙅♀️ I will dnf it.

I don't really like romance either, sub-plots are fine, but sometimes romance becomes the main focus and I hate that.
Yeah. Romance being the main focus of the book *SUCKS* but in having it in the sub-plot is great.
