I find the way they did the ABXY buttons pretty neat with the letters inside the PS shape and that the label is under a clear button meaning that you shouldn't ever have to worry about wearing the label off with your thumb. Smart. But yeah, would have been more awesome with a traditional D-pad.

I didn't like the analogue sticks all that much, and it feels like a happy meal toy, but for ~$10, can't complain. If I use it enough, I can use that to justify buying a higher end controller. The buttons on the back don't allow you to hold the button it's mapped to, and unpressed other buttons, so that doesn't work so well.
Pretty cool. Hope these devices keep getting better and cheaper. Pulled the plug on Gamesir x2 Pro last month with early BF deals.. and am very happy with it. Just got it. The latency on this thing is insane. It's even lower than my 8bitdo pro 2. Unfortunately you have to prepare for some quality control issues. Mine had a very loose trigger but I did fix it by pushing some b7000 phone glue on the top part of the trigger for less wobble.
Hey, don't know if you'll see this, but what is the launcher you used? Also, if you signup for a new AliExpress account, you can grab one for as low as $4. I found this one listed by another seller and I am just waiting to get it!
Doesn't really need a new telescopic controller, but a definite interest when needed and that "space" for your bumpy camera area is something that even those expensive ones should think about. Also maybe they should as well find ways to "Cool" a smartphone.
It should be noted that for this controller to work it depends on your phone's processor. MediaTek is not supported in many games. Perhaps this is common to all controllers on the market. The game programmer does not include MediaTek in his programing. So depending on the game and even simple games like Buggy Racing it doesn't work. You will tear your hair out wondering why it is not working.
Nah your phone is just bugging im sure all controllers will work with all chips you probably used android mode instead of x input mode which you shouldve read the guide
I have been working towards adapting Switch Console Controller to a 7" 1280P QLED monitor to allow it to be hooked up to a Minisforum or Beelink mini PCs. Working with manufacturer to convert their firmware so ic can be recognized as a Switch Pro controller so that you will have rumble and gyro use. Currently I you use it as an XBOX 360 controller, but I find having a Gyro works well (like my Dual Shock or Sense versions) when playing Steam games. The thin and lightweight QLED 720P screen looks gorgeous at 7" plus running at 720P native allows all games including CyberPunk 2077 to run on close to maximum settings on my BeeLink GTR5 5900HX , but should have my Minisforum UM690 tomorrow which I have several modifications in the works for to make it a (Li-ION Graphene) mobile unit for low-end desktop VR and my "MONiPAD" for gaming on the go without extra cost of buying a Steamdeck or the pricier PC gaming consoles. Price for the "MONiPAD" I hope to be less than $100.

Multiple pairing modes: Can be paired to register as: •Dualshock 4 (PS4) •Xbox Controller •Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (will pair to your Switch) •iSO •Android You can use this thing to natively play anything. Both this BSP-D3 & the larger BSP-D5 controller work the same

I bought an 8BitDo Pro 2 with attachment for my phone, but end up using that controller more for my PC or Switch. It is just too big a setup for on the go, and the other controllers like this were too expensive. This might be what I am looking for for cheap on the go playing on my phone...

I'm using a fold 4 so really my only options is put my phone on a stand with a wireless controller or a telescopic controller and I got one of these joso controllers and they work surprisingly well
i use this controller now since 8 months and it still works fine big - is you cant connect headphones while the phone is in it but even the expensiv ones have this kind of problem
Thank you for the recommendation. I always wanted a strechy controllers but did not want to invest much into it. This controller works great and i got it for 17 bones! What a steal. Stay up and God bless.
I got this BSP D3, Doesn't feel like cheap plastic, looks well built in my opinion. I have an S20FE and I don't even remove the cover to use it It's kind of annoying to get it right to use with Android games, but for emulators it's fine. I also used it to play Alien Isolation on the computer and it's good enough.
Couple of things to say: did you connect with a PC? Would be interesting. And I like the design. Only bummer is the phones have headphone jacks on the side
thanks for this , I'm waiting for a review about this controller. I became curious about this controller because it says that it can also be used for ps3/ps4.
- Tidak memiliki pemicu analog, hanya tombol pemicu on/off.
Ahhhhh. The d-pad. Man, just that small change and it would be an insta buy. Fighting games are something I like to have portable since you can quickly play a few matches so this kills it for me unfortunately.

Just got it. The latency on this thing is insane. It's even lower than my 8bitdo pro 2. Unfortunately you have to prepare for some quality control issues. Mine had a very loose trigger but I did fix it by pushing some b7000 phone glue on the top part of the trigger for less wobble.
Do you mean the latency thing being insane in a good way or no?
@@lucykaede5863 im pretty sure insane in a good way since they said its “lower than my 8bitdo pro 2”
@@lucykaede5863 lower always means better in term of latency
Is the latency good or bad?
Lower latency = good
Amazing! I'm stoked to try it out!
always looking for cheap controllers for my kids' phones. thanks for this one
I just LOVE these handheld controllers. I just got the Gamesir X2 type c controller oh man soooo much better than a phone clip on a gamepad.
This might be a great controller for the Fold 4 actually.
good thing you reviewed that, I saw one exactly like that packaged as an ipega 9217, so that's just one and the same
It should be noted that for this controller to work it depends on your phone's processor. MediaTek is not supported in many games. Perhaps this is common to all controllers on the market. The game programmer does not include MediaTek in his programing. So depending on the game and even simple games like Buggy Racing it doesn't work. You will tear your hair out wondering why it is not working.
Does it work on emulators at least?
It's sad that they don't include MediaTek :(
@@MarcoMinatinho it works on emulations!
Maybe you have an old processor?
Did some research and the only chips mentioned with issues are ancient helio chips
*@ETA PRIME* & whomever else may have this exact same BSP-D3 model controller with the Playstation symbols on the face buttons. Having those particular face buttons may indicate that version also has a PS4/DS4 mode. With the controller off, hold the "Circle"+"Power" buttons to put it into Dualshock 4 pairing mode.
Multiple pairing modes:
Can be paired to register as:
•Dualshock 4 (PS4)
•Xbox Controller
•Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (will pair to your Switch)
•iSO
•Android
You can use this thing to natively play anything.
Both this BSP-D3 & the larger BSP-D5 controller work the same
Got one today for about 8$ shipped (Ph local shipping) so far so good needed to set up to D3 mode. Glad you share the connection setting here at your video. Thankyou!!
Does it work on xbox gamepass and xcloud? Pls answer thanks
@@_mariko791 Yes
How is your controller? Is it still working?
I managed to get a 2-pack for 6.28/each, shipping and taxes bumped it to about 28.
I bought an 8BitDo Pro 2 with attachment for my phone, but end up using that controller more for my PC or Switch. It is just too big a setup for on the go, and the other controllers like this were too expensive. This might be what I am looking for for cheap on the go playing on my phone...
I have never bought anything from AliExpress before. How fast and reliable is the shipping?
You can also connect to a Nintendo Switch (NS) by going to the Change Grip Order in NS the holding RT + Power button for 2 secs. LED 1 and 2 will flash then press L + R.
Amazing how versatile this little gizmo is! The actual gift that truly keeps giving - iO, Android, PC, NS, PS3, PS4, wired and 2.4G modes
got this on amazon for $26. had a problem where in xbox controller mode, it would need to be repaired to my phone EVERY time i turned on the controller. d3 mode paired fine. worked good for emulators. not reccomended for cod or pubg. go for the d8 if u wand serious gaming
I might buy this one for n64 emulation on Android
turning my old phone into a GBA, basically. just ordered this. i think for what i'm trying to do, this is going to be perfect! don't really use aliexpress, but i made an account for this, and they had a new user deal going on. i snagged this thing for under 3 bucks.
This D3 gamepad definitely looks more valuable for the price, as so many gamepad companies are taking huge profite-offs on cost.
They should make a second tier version with analog triggers and better sticks
They did
I'm using a fold 4 so really my only options is put my phone on a stand with a wireless controller or a telescopic controller and I got one of these joso controllers and they work surprisingly well
For some light emulation games this seems perfect. Just bought one thanks !
i use this controller now since 8 months and it still works fine big - is you cant connect headphones while the phone is in it but even the expensiv ones have this kind of problem
More woried about being able to charge my phone as playing games drains the battery so damn fast.
@@AnarickTheDevil i have a poco f3 i can play 8 hours with it without charging but yeah sure it would be better with a charging port
You mean wired headphones right?
@@PS2GAMER100 yeah sadly no wired headphones possible im using Bluetooth earbuds from xiaomi with low latency mode
Nothing but nothing is going to replace my 8bitdo Pro 2 and gameklip.
Thank you for the recommendation. I always wanted a strechy controllers but did not want to invest much into it. This controller works great and i got it for 17 bones! What a steal. Stay up and God bless.
I got this BSP D3, Doesn't feel like cheap plastic, looks well built in my opinion.
I have an S20FE and I don't even remove the cover to use it
It's kind of annoying to get it right to use with Android games, but for emulators it's fine. I also used it to play Alien Isolation on the computer and it's good enough.
Thank you for including a gemepad test. On lots of these cheap controllers you can not make a circle with an analog sticks..
Will you be looking at the bsp-d7?
I'm in hope that the dpad is actually alright compared to the D3.
This would be great for lightweight trips. Now if only I could find a decent and cheap one for a 7" tablet.
Couple of things to say: did you connect with a PC? Would be interesting.
And I like the design. Only bummer is the phones have headphone jacks on the side
Yes
What gamepad testing app are you using? Thanks!
I like this design blue yellow
thanks for this , I'm waiting for a review about this controller. I became curious about this controller because it says that it can also be used for ps3/ps4.
Ringkasan:
- Tidak memiliki pemicu analog, hanya tombol pemicu on/off.
Ahhhhh. The d-pad. Man, just that small change and it would be an insta buy. Fighting games are something I like to have portable since you can quickly play a few matches so this kills it for me unfortunately.
It would be amazing if you make a review about the recently released bsp d6 controller
Had it and it was horrible in many ways
there was one for £8 GBP on ali express, I used a deal to bring that down to about £1.50 so I mean, rlly not bad for the price
I already have this and I love it
Cool! Does it work wirth Genshin Impact?
You should try Space Marshals 2 or 3 for these controllers.
Hey man loves your video, would like to ask if you could review the newer model of that controller? It's called bsp-d6 and apparently it comes with hall effect joysticks, there's also a bsp-d7 but from what I see it's a bsp-d6 with rgb (since d6 doesn't have rgb on the buttons. Thanks!
What ui are you using? It looks nice like a gaming console ui
Great video.
Why spend 50 for a 3.5 rating when this is 15bucks with the same ratings. As long as it works. The instructions have really small print. Not all functions are listed.
You should go and see the mocute 061, it looks like a good controller. Might have buy that but the seperate batteries is kinda killing it for me. I really hope it lasts like 24 hours of charge
I like the d,3 controller
I got this for nearly free, it's that cheap, and it's surprising that this seems to work good
Could you test it on a 'normal' desktop PC, please? It should normally work on there too. And how much is the range on the bluetooth?
Brilliant i got mine today im very shocked how fantastic it works wirh codm and xbox game pass 😮
Does it work on xbox gamepass and xcloud?
@@_mariko791 yes
@@justmemun1991 thank you so much for the reply also do you feel any lag whatsoever when using Xbox Remote Play?
@_Mariko I honesty couldn't tell you I just test it for few seconds to see if the joystick works
@@justmemun1991 thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it
😎👍... Awesome Review I really need this for my C.O.D Mobile my Xbox one just got the Thumbstick DRIFT it's a $24.99 fix but This Controller at $15 is a Cool replacement
Thank You
Do you edit these videos yourself or have someone else do them?
I have one, used it on my phone, PS3, and wired on PC 🤣 Good enough considering the price
How it is compare to saitake gamepad? Is saitake better? Or this one better? Tq
Will the onn 7 inch tablet from Walmart for $28, you reviewed in previous video work with this? I see this controller doesn't support the MediaTek chipsñ so I'm curious if you have tried it
Bigger question... Why are you using select to switch gears? Why?
I buy this controller for 5,5$ on AliExpres. After this video im allready happy ;p
