Man You are the best really.... You got some real beasts there, that many people just dream of, i hope you know how lucky you are !! Ride and smile, peace..
ofc you worked hard no one said you didn't ... but some people no matter how hard they will work they will not be able to accomplish some things, that why i am a telling you lucky. i didnt meant they felt from the sky in your backyard... :)
Were did u find headlight cowl, was those R1 bars direct bolt on and did you need to use R1 levers etc or did warrior levers etc fit ? Hows the lean with those bars when riding
Nice bike love the look. I have a Warrior that I would love to built Close enough the way you have yours. If you could sent me more info on the mods you did I'll appreciate the help. Thanks
You can pick the Yamaha up for little $ compared to V-Rod put the money in Yamaha you'll save plus have a bike that will never leave you. Ask any Yamaha owner they'll tell you the same. 👍🏻✌🏻️💯😎🇺🇸
+JTron83 Hey bud - so reading through the comments I see that a shop performed the bulk of the modifications on the bike, but any details you can provide on each mod, as well as your personal motivations for each one would be entertaining. And how about a feature start-up/ride-along vid of the bike? Hey, maybe a tall order, but the Warrior is my favourite bike, and you've got one hell of a specimen to show off there.
I'm with"Yamaha Road Star warrior" traveled a number of times. Good motorcycle .. Transports each gear well and corners are also good to go into higher gear! At 2 gear, standing start had a very good acceleration ! It was also the custom. The weight of the original weight was much more heavyer. The speed limiter was on top, and more than 187 km / h did not move, although the acceleration of the rope course was a quarter left . Weight was too heavy !It had Killer handlebars( real nice) and too much of a chrome body pipes, Bird Ostrich leather saddle(very good) ! Myself Id rip just get naked and useless stuff off that motorcycle! Of course, this was not my own motorcycle !
Warrior looks much tougher, where as the Vrod as you said looks more sleek still tough. In Australia its cheaper to buy Vrod and they look way better stock but the warrior owns it in looks with a few grand of mods. Darn what a hard choice!
Yo I have a 2007 vstar 1300 midnight can u do anything to make it more cool like ur warrior without breaking the bank I'm from Ontario too awesome awesome bike
+exexpat11 liquid-cooling would require a big ol' ugly radiator mounted to the front of the frame. A big part of what I like about the Warrior - in looks, performance, and maintenance - is that it is air-cooled. The bike is already fuel-injected, and adding extra horsepower beyond stock is a matter of tuning. But yes, Yamaha should bring this bike back into production, and scrap the abomination that is the Raider/Striker.
Sir, I was wondering a couple things. I'd greatly appreciate if you could help me. I love the look of your warrior, and I'm not trying to mimic it, but I'd love to know where you got your headlight cowl from. Also, the L.E.D's for your brakelight/turn signal..are they just regular l.e.d.'s wired up or something specific? Thank you.
JTron83 where did you get the custom mods done ? I am in Ontario as well and hoping to get some mods done on my Warrior. I would appreciate the info. Thanks
I can sell u mine, it's exactly like his but mine Is in original condition except the intake, saddlebags and seat I got a spike intake and a Corbin seat that can flips up so passenger can sit and at the same time have a backrest and tour master saddlebags its very clean
Sweet!! I love the minimal Bobber look. Sounds great. While I am in my 70's and need a windshield and foot boards, that Warrior is so attractive.
you are causing me to drag my Warrior out and start the repairs to get her back road ready!! Thank You
Two beautiful machines! Don't get rid of them! Nice!
This bike looks so goooood……good job ! I bought Warrior last night…….
All the mods are cool and something I would do. Clean bike.
Warrior starters always sound like the starter to a prop plane to me.
Sweet bike btw

Dude...awesome!! My dreambike!!
whats the r1 year the handle bars came off? looks good, another question, your hands or handle bars dont hit the tank? if you turn all the way?
So which one you like the most
what is the other bike? looks good too!
if you had to choose, which of the 2 bikes would you prefer? Have a chance to buy one of each this weekend. like both

how hard is it to put those R1 handle bars on?
I have a warrior. What is that black shroud going around the headlight? And where can I find one! Lol thanks.

Why does the starters sound so weak ....do they go out a lot
Who made the pipes, if you don't mind? Nice Post by the way..
SUBLIMISSIME !
Which do you like more? The warrior or night rod?
such a nice warrior
Classic ride. Yamaha should bring it back, fuel injected, water cooled, and +100 horsepower (vice 80 horsepower).

Hey Jtron..love the bikes! which shop does your mods in Toronto? That Warrior is gorgeous btw. Is that a fat tire kit on it?

Im also curious
how much is the modification of the rear tire, I saw you said is expensive but just to have an idea, I own a Road star and will like to do that.
Where did you get the aftermarket swing arm ?
What brand of led integrated tail light is that? How do you like it. Very visible ?
Just got my Yamaha Warrior! Does anyone know where to get these customs parts for the bobber look?
How did you deal with clutch and gas cables being so long when you installed r1 handle bars?
Did you use the cables from the r1 and what year clip ons did you use
I'm 5'10 which bike would fit me most, you think? I love both of them but am concerned I'm not tall enough
Saw this and thought about a HD Nightrod... and is the other one, not a HD Nightrod :)
where can I buy similar exhaust?
Please tell me what brand front fairing that is.
zooksv1k HD

Any chance the night rod is for sale. Im in the GTA.
Hey man. Got any pics with a rider on it? The YR1 handles must force a lean forward position don't they?
This must be super uncomfortable.
Thanks man.
