Settings "Gameplay" Always have "Enable high precision mouse input" Set to on. In "Accessibility" have "Camera skate" set to reduced and "Hud shake" set to off.
I actually love u
@@Filizuzk- real
Im also 1600 and 2.5
Idk if it’s placebo but I swear that high precision mouse input made me hit so much more shots
No one has any idea how excited i am that melio just uploaded 10hrs pure overwatch, plus your abilty to explain your thought process while your playing is incredible
Fr i can barely make calls cus it requires too much brain power for me 💀💀
It’s insane how well he reads the game. He’s able to process the info he’s seeing at an insane rate
i dont know whats more impressive his gameplay or the fact hes giving a free course live as he is playing the game narrating his own gameplay, truly impressive.
akwards does the same
I was the kiriko on the Route 66 game. Thought the widow was clearly smurfing but didn’t know it was melio himself lol 33:02
You played well, good pressure on widow. You surely saved your team from getting headshot for free.
you held your ground pretty well against a top 500 widow LOL, i see you ranking up in no time
@@armando5994 I was gm on dps and support at the time and as soon as I saw my dps being gaped I just went to duel the widow xD
3:22:42 I really like this: "Widow punishes bad movement". It punctuates how important crosshair placement is, and how it's not all having crazy aim (but it sure does help loool)
Im honestly impressed with how well u can play the game and commentate everything you're doing at the same time
**hits insane shots** "And then I killed them because they were walking in a straight line. Shot the Ana because she was jumping in a straight line. Straight line so they're dead because of it. "
Gold. Ty for the content and commentary around your mindset! Brilliant player :)
You just summed up all unrank to gm's bro😭
Simplification, legit ppl talk about punishing ppl with no cooldowns, widow just punish them for poor movement...
A few hours in all ready applying the things like crosshair placement. I never new about it and thought flicking was the way to play widow. Crosshair placement shots are probably the most consistent value of shots. He really does a good explaining what he's doing. And I've been winning more widows duels because of how he explains to anticipate the enemy widow. I used to think you were just supposed to hard peak there angles. Great video really one of the best urgm.
I mean punishing predictable movement is a really big part of good aim. If you can react to strafing thats good but a lot of people get slammed by just getting beamed bc they walk in a straight line or jump over and over again
Yea I don't know why people need a 10 hour video for that
Streamers should just put upfront that this unranked to GM shit gives a shit ton of views instead of making it educational
Omg thank you so much. It widow has the least amount of educational content about her from actual widow players. This is definitely the first I ranked to gm I’ve seen completed on the character
shats so incredible about this unr to gm is that hes not hitting all these impossible shots
hes literlly winning more because of his positions and game sense. Proof tht u dont need to get that better aim to make it out of low elo
Love this. No flicking just pure tracking widows are a joy to watch.
All in all a very educational video! Many situations I can relate to and learn from and not just some dominating widowmaker gameplay. Knowing when and how to back off seems key too a sucessfull (and thereby enjoyable) round.
Greatest hitscan player right now should be a lot more popular than he is tbh
overwatch content creation rn is more about pr then the most skilled players unfortunately
Pelican way better tho
Bro plays a diff role 😥 @@jiid.
merit>
Popularity is not purely based on skill, also personality and entertainment value
Bro makes widow look so easy then when I play widow I look like a lost child in a grocery store 😩
Great video, easily the most helpful widowmaker video out there
Insane gameplay. It really shows how patient you have to be to learn widow at this kind of level of play. Many many many times you'd killed 4/5 players for fights and your team would lose point in the meantime so you'd have to reposition and wipe the enemy team a second time from respawns. Thanks for the tips its really awesome to see the correct way to play that isn't merely "just headshot everyone".
Learning so much, but you just cant deny the fact your aim is insane and and is also playing a big part about why you are ranked so high. Widow is not easy to pick up! Great video! One day i'll aim like you 😂
woaw, this is such a valuable coaching, I'm learning so much from this!
What interests me the most is how you aim. You have such smooth movement with your mouse and you have very good cross hair placement. It's not rapid crazy flicks of the mouse to land these incredible shots. So many times you pull off crazy shots but then follow it up with "they were moving in a straight line" or "they were jumping." It makes it easy to digest just how important movement or lack thereof is in general but also when playing Widowmaker.
The fact you are a rank one hitscan and Widowmaker player means you have a very strong fundamental understanding of the game. It shows in your continually changing position, your grapplehook usage, when to go forwards and when to go back, and just your overall awareness.
Very enjoyable to watch and the first genuinely helpful educational content on Widowmaker I have seen. Keep up the good fight. I look forward to educational content with Cassidy and tracer.
I'm gonna watch every minute of this. Thank you for uploading
Doing a 24 hour shift at work, this is what i needed to power through. Thanks for the info and actual tips and angles
This video helped me sm lol, in the last 24 hrs I’ve had a average accuracy of 30-40% and only lost 2 games
Was waiting for this good shit melioooooo
Do i play widow? No, but i do enjoy just watching Melio’s content so imma still watch. Also good luck to all in the new season with the hp changes
This is so helpful to see that even top Widowmaker player can miss a lot of shots in a game, I'm usually getting very insecure of my performance in such games and swap. My "easy shots" consistency still needs work but I'm feeling much more confident now, thank you
I like how often you emphasize the importance of good gamesense for progression rather than focusing on aim. You can create a lot of pressure just by positioning yourself well and staying alive, making hitting your shots a nice bonus on top of that. Also nice how you note Widow punishes poor movement and positioning much harder than most other characters.
One recommendation I have for the videos is having a longer introduction explaining some more about the character. You mention a few times how having good aim makes it a lot easier to climb on Widowmaker, but it's not necessary. I think this should go in the intro as well since so many people have the misconception that widow is purely an aim character. It would also be nice to have a few minutes explaining a few of widow's fundamentals, such as grapple sens, scope sens, general cooldown and ult usage. Going into a few key elements/tricks that will apply to every game would also be useful, such as how to grapple jumpshot properly (jump release timings), different ways to effectively peak (side peak, grapple peak, jump peak, etc.), venom mine head glitch (lol), etc. I think if people have a better fundamental understanding of the character it'll make applying gamesense a lot easier when they are actually playing.
true bro my mechanics r garbo but i still hit masters on dos 😂 (im a tank main)
Literally watched the entire video and just wanted to say you're AMAZING! I'm a widow main and I learnt so much from this. THANK YOU! 💜🙏 P.S could you please do a new video on some cheeky/unexpected spots for widow that haven't been patched yet?
ive been waiting for this day to come
BRO THAT WAS TOTALLY educational!! THANKS MAN!
Oh wow I almost didn''t realize it was 10 hours! Learned a lot even the first hour. Thanks for putting so much time into this.
I enjoyed ur video thanks for becoming another UA-camr to watch small or big 🎉
Thanks for great video !
i've been waiting for some new content from you and to my surprise, it's 10h 🎉
Thank you very much, i already climbing and winning almost every game (not even joking)
Thanks for the content Melio... I am realizing how important crosshair placement is.
Appreciate the video
that engage with nano valk first game was good content i wish u saw the action there
good stuff melio!
Going from a doom otp to trying to master widow, this helps, thanks.
Good video keep it up 😊❤
The first educational video I ever watch,
Man you are are really intelligent guy. Can tell by the way you explain things
sojourn next pls? been tryna improve with her and would like to learn, unless you can say some tips to climb with her
Great vid! I would, however, lower the game audio and increase your mic volume in OBS so we can hear you better.
Sometimes there is too much happening and I can't really understand what you say.
Anyways, keep it up!
I love that you’re snuffing throughout this video lmao
A lot of good information! Also don't forget to stay hydrated!
Awesome video. Thank you.
is it your specific DPI for widow or you're using 1450 always? And why 1450. Thank you for the video.
“lets try to see if we can headshot anyone, from an angle” Damn, maybe I should practice that instead of playing Widow 76. All jokes aside, great vid! Been watching since I played one of my first widow games after 5 years of playing OW last week since support bored me a bit in season 9. Ofc a plat lobby (my dps rank) isn’t the same as a Masters lobby (supp rank), but after going 37-2 i thought I would give it a… shot?… instead of only playing tracer when I queueueue dps with friends and fool around ;) How one lucky game could get me hyped so much is still a mystery, but hey, can’t blame me right?
Amazing bro 👏 🙌 👌. Keep em coming would love to see a tracer one in season 9. I play tracer, widow, and hanzo. I gave up on hanzo tho because they killed him. Great upload thanks!
Been wanting to learn widow. I don’t really know how to peek. And my movement is lacking. I often land into other peoples crosshairs. But I’d love to be the widow that pops off! Hope this guide helps
Hehe he I like to snoop around. Hows the widow grind going?
Would be cool if you could do some quick tips on how to hit headshots more , not just game sense guide. Thanks for this guide tho!
tryna learn widow LETSGOOOOOO W timing
10 hours of Meio, let's go.
moira fading through the air in an arch = straight line😭great games tho ive seen a lot of unranked to gm, this is a clean style and good commentary. thank you for the widow video
think straight line is just a simple way to say predictable/easy to track movement, just comes with playing the game alot!
Melio literally just looks at people and the headshot dings just plays
Lesgooo
What mouse and monitor you using bro?
i dont play widow and its really long so im pretty sure ill just watch part of it, but eitherway your commentary is amazing. what a skill to have being able to focus while talking too
hooraaay
Eres buenisimo hermano. 🤙
Well this one deserves a sub
Loved the vid. I’m gm1 console, but had a lot to learn.
BRO WHAT IS YOUR AIM holy shit. That is some phenomenal shit
I’ve been waiting for a widow unranked to gm for years, and we finally got one
How is your crosshair immediately on their heads every time you look at them? I always need a second to line it up and process where the target is.
After alot of aiming it will get easier, its about distance and knowing how far you need to move your hand
Ain’t no way the goat actually did it! This must be a world‘s first! 😂 Widow is the only DPS I can’t play and this will definitely be helpful 😅
Every time you say straight lines in your videos I just instantly hear the song Straight Lines by Vola 😂
hahahaha you must be cracked up I said it all the time
i woke and saw this it made my day
neato burrito
I love how there's no complaining about your team, it's just pure commentary about what you're doing, your thought process, and even criticising yourself when you make mistakes. Great video for people to learn from.
the snus gives him power
Can you do this again but playing soldier, also love the content melio good luck to you.
Nano mercy in the first game goes crazy tho
What are your crosshair settings ?:)
Thats crazy, 10 hour long vid
i like it
this video is longer than my entire comp playtime
good video meliodas
less gooo!! it's him :))))
Watching folks miss consecutive shots makes me feel better ab myself
wow that first game you demolished
only 10 hours of melio?!? need more
I have heard multiple answers to this question so I have come to the widow god to get a definitive answer. Does widow make footsteps when she is scoped?
hes god
5th game is wild how long 1st point took for you to cap considering how completely you massacred their team solo
Recently hit a nasty 5k on widow on (4 of them on potg) had only 2 small flicks rest were crosshair placement and my friends who I played with gold-dia all thought I was cracked (pretty much first time widow)
draco malfoy clicking heads for 10 hours
From watching this, I realized that I was doing way too much because I was desperate to get value because I get flamed by my teammates. I'd play for stats more than anything. This is such a great video
Shame your audio is like same volume as game sound, sometimes it is hard to hear what you are saying when there is a lot going off.
But regardless great video!
I’ll fix it for next dw
w
bruh i always play that piano on circuit royale but i can not manipulate the gun so closely to play quickly like that. wild
Being good at aim clearly has other benefits :)
@@melio_overwatch can spot a pianist when he does a little improv and finishes out the melody with the little arpeggio at the end lol. i couldnt believe how quickly you did it. damn i need to get on mouse and keyboard
melio can you make a video talk about how to find a good sensitivity and practice your aim?
Aim training videos exists everywhere. Aim is easy to improve, but this video is more game sense. As for sens, advice for that also exists everywhere. If I were to give a summary, I would say try slowly lowering it to pro levels until you get used to it (i use 277 dpi in game, which might even be too low, but I used to use 800, which is typically way too fast to be accurate), then adjust to what feels right. Also depends on mousepad space.
Would love to see stats at the end of each game
This is one of the greatest videos in gaming
Why does melio never use ult?
I wonder what his settings are for Widowmaker
Any scoped sens advice? I can't get it feeling quite as good as I'd like
There are 3 genuine scoped sensitivities you should try, 30 (default), 35 (lower than 1:1), 37.89 (1:1)
@@melio_overwatch Will give it a test, much appreciated!
I've seen people that like 40-45 too if you want to try it out
I hope you do tracer next!
Can’t wait to watch this whole thing just for next season patches to buff Pharah and projectiles 😵
sad time mans...
pharah getting buffed? cant wait for pharah mercy to make the game even more boring
Me watching this video hoping I’ll learn something
