"Bortnyk won $1,000 for his efforts. Bluebaum claimed $750. Only three of the four players on nine points could place, and they were Hakobyan in third for $350, GM Dmitry Andreikin in fourth for $200, and GM Daniel Naroditsky in fifth for $100."

I just want to say thank you danya, after binging your content I went from 1500 to 1800 (ok 1780) in a month, the instructive value is insane. I was really frustrated and stuck at 1500 for over half a year, but you really brought back some of the enjoyment I had with chess when I first begun 3 years ago. Easy to get hung up on ratings and forget why you play in the first place. You inspired me to focus on the game instead of on the numbers, and it pays off big time

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

I have full respect for your 3 | 0 mastery, Danya. Flagging in blitz is not the same as flagging in bullet. It means your opponent failed to save enough time to convert their winning endgame. They should have choae an endgame that was easier to convert. The same thing can happen in 10 | 0 rapid too, or even longer no-increment games! Losing on time in such games is a time management problem, not a time problem.

Game vs. Kramnik: played this exact line in the Najdorf hundreds of times, both as white and as black 😃
I think the sack on e6 gives nothing but also black playing b4 without follow-up is just a weakening move. H6 loses a tempo for black, should be avoided.
Nbd7 - Nc5 is the plan for black to take away white’s bishop pair but should be executed fairly quickly so that d7 stays free for the other knight.
White can push the g pawn but can’t really follow up with the f pawn because the bishop on b7 becomes active and then b4 may be coming. Always push b4 if you can win the e pawn. There’s no compensation for white.
Knight on f6 goes to d7 and to e5 to provoke white to push the f pawn, then it goes back to d7 and c5 to attack the e pawn.
Last but not least - long castles if white pushes the h pawn.
White can meet a premature b4 with Na4 which delays black’s counterplay on the queenside.
Knight on d4 should jump back to re-capture on b3 from where it can control c5 where the other knight is supposed to land and leaving the option to reinforce e4 with Re1 after long castles.
Very sharp position but with perfect play it ends up in a liquidation and a slightly better end game for black because the bishop on b7 applies a lot of pressure on white’s center.
White doesn’t have a path to clear advantage unless black messes up the plans or the move order. Move order is all important, everything kind of gets down to move order and tempos in this line.
Short castles is just losing for white, should be avoided at all costs.
G5 gives a clear advantage for white if the black knight can’t be withdrawn to d7. The other plan is to push the h pawn all the way to h5 and attempt g5-g6 to weaken the e6 pawn.
If at any point black is able to push d5 without being punished with e5 and f4, it means you messed up the line 😂

The sad thing is most of those are likely snatch and runs. They got the content and now get the money back.
Chessable makes it a bit harder to do that, so perhaps their choice of releasing a course independently is now showing its downsides.
I'm guessing they released this to help ppl more than to make money off of it.

If you advertise a course as refundable no questions asked then you shouldn't make a fuss when people request a refund. I feel your tone was a bit disappointing here. P.S. I've not bought the course (or any chess courses for that matter), I'm just commenting on this business aspect.
I saw from another comment here that Chessable make it harder for people to swindle free content. The number of bad eggs doing this is probably low, if this is even possible (again, not bought a course, no idea), but it may be worth looking into how they sell courses.
