Simon, your chess is truly inspiring! I’m stuck at around 1800, but I suspect it’s because of my passive, cagey style. I’m going to start being more aggressive and see how it goes.
I recommend the King's Gambit. I usually do Nf3 but there is the mental Bc4 Qh5+ line that is actually engine approved...as much as being a pawn down on move 3 is engine approvable, that is. Ignore the engine evaluation (in my games white equalizes in very few moves) and ignore material. There's a some tricky lines including the Falkbeer countergambit but I think there's surprisingly little theory to learn. And it's great fun to be a pawn down and mate the fucker like Simon does ;)
When was living in the UK I'd watch your streams and drink cider, you recommended some good stuff that I found at the ASDA on Smithdown Road in Liverpool. Miss your commentary.

I remember some streamers doing streams where they take on all comers on their site of choice. Pick a time, let it be known you're doing it, and have some fun crushing your viewers who will - hopefully - get some good learning from it when they go back and watch your commentary.
