I'm in 3rd year now and was struggling to manage CP, leetcode for DSA and Macine learning. After this video, I guess I should drop CP and focus on DSA. Thank you so much for this video
hey, how are u doing now?
Okay leetcode is best for coding interviews.
But what about online assessment of top product bases companies. Is leetcode contests enough ?
I think leetcode is best for you only if you know all the concepts of DSA
that's the idea of doing leetcode to get better at DSA
Thank you very much. I have started CP just now I’m my 4th year (8th sem) and now after watching I understand that it’s not really a great idea to do so now. I better focus on development right ??
Yes and leetcode for your programming interviews
I also realised the same buddy
Thank you bhaiya.
Welcome
Great informative video
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative video, cleared nearly all of my doubts..by the way i am from ju too
Thank you so much 🙂 Also glad to see people from my college here.
What type of projects would you recommend? By that I mean what if someone doesn't have any good idea on what project to make or the idea that they have is very time consuming and they don't have that much time??
I would recommend if you are new try out simple stuff. A project like a shopping cart for example, shows very simple CRUD operations on a DB but is still a good end to end full stack project. Don't over complicate things.
hey, but usually ao assesments has questions more on cp side? just a doubt, or doing dsa can also handle those questions?
pls answer as i am in 3rd yr so i am doubtfully wheather should i start or not.
Which projects do you recommend for working professionals if they want to build good side projects to showcase on the resume.
Well the answer is very subjective. But I would say build something that your current job doesn't give you but you want your future roles to. Eg: If you work on Full stack web dev but are interested to be an Android developer, get into Native app development.
hi bro good mrg , apologies if am asking noob questions just concerned about something for a while, for oa assement rounds (top companies) how is the level of difficulty bro (since u have attended many top firms and cleared it ) , do we need to do cp to clear this round or leetcode is good enough to go .ps I have 3 yrs of work experience, solved over 120 questions in leetcode till now
I feel LeetCode is enough. If you feel a companies OA is really tough, try to be good at LeetCode hard questions. That should be sufficient. Ideally LeetCode "medium-hard" (translates to harder medium questions) is sufficient.
Bro I am in 3 year and pupil at codeforces solve 150+ questions on leetcode , and very little dev any suggestions
CP
How many leetcode problems I need to solve to ace in FAANG interview?
If only I knew
What do you mean by "solve"? Do you consider a problem solved if you looked up the answer the day before you actually "solved" it? In any case, just do the Saturday Leetcode contests. If you can solve 3 to 4 problems for each contest pretty consistently, then I'd say you're in good shape. If you're still not sure, go on Pramp, and do the free peer-to-peer mock interviews. Simulating the interview conditions as much as possible is the only way to know if you're ready or not. It's like the guy said in the video. Some people have solved 1000 problems on Leetcode and still not have gotten a job at a FAANG company, and some people have solved 200 problems, and for them, that was enough for them to get a job at Google.
Thanks bhaiya!
