- HOW TO MAKE YOUR PATROL TAIL LIGHTS FUNCTION!
Here is a walkthrough on how I wired in the tail lights in my GU patrol.
I purchased series 3 tail lights that are fitted with globes and wiring from Ebay (link below) and replaced the factory tail lights. I joined the wires from the passenger side body harness to multicore wire, snaked them through the roof internally and down the drivers quarter to the drivers side tail light. From here, I fitted the wires into a plug and that's how easy it is.
Here is a link to the Tail Lights I ordered. The price has increased drastically since I purchased them.

Here is a link to identical lights for a much better price from another seller that I buy from frequently.

Such helpful information, as always. I'll be using this when I do my tail lights. Thanks for posting.
Thanks mate always great to get positive feedback 👍🏻 let me know if you run into any issues.
it's really helpful mate, thanks for all your videos
Thanks mate glad you appreciate it 👍🏻
Looks good all fitted up.
Much better than the split ones I had in there 😂
Cheers Ruebs, FYI, lights cable can run under the rear plastic strip on floor at rear, likely under your drawers. The rear quater (if not chopped) has holes and gromets to use if needed.
Thanks Ben, as always excellent information and tips 👍🏻
@@ReubsModifications One day, I might have to come for scoot and roll up on your workshop. Cheers man, keep up the work and the great attitude.
Sounds good hopefully I turn some of my mess into some nice running cars before then 😂
