Invasive species control is so very important to the native animals and some people just don't get it. There are many who protect and feed iguanas and they don't realize they are a huge part of the problem, guess they mean well but wish they would educate themselves on the damage they cause. Overrun with iguanas, do YOU want ALL of them at your place? Will YOU turn YOUR home and yard into a REFUGE for an INVASIVE SPECIE? People like you see the killing of the iguana as horrible, terrible, killing God's creatures. The way a property or business owner sees them as a pest, just like rats or roaches. Like them too? When you have a golf course for example people will not come out if they fear being confronted by those big alpha males. Bottom line I too do not like any living creatures having to die (maybe roaches and rats as an exception) but irresponsible people have created this problem. Then uninformed and ignorant people decry handling the problem permanently by killing the iguanas! In which group are you?
That's one well trained doggie. She's a champ! I always worry about the unknown/unseen gator when they enter the water. I know the commotion usually scares them off... Well, unless they're hungry and on the hunt for easy prey.
Rouge is IMPRESSIVE. Different attitude maybe, but she definitely gets the job done. She charged right up on those "dinosaurs", and i loved the Rogue-cam close up shots of her at work. She looks like she might be the mate for Otto I was hoping for. Y'all are doing a GREAT job!
Rogue is a beautiful dog! She definitely has more of that gentle mouth trait that retrievers are known for, compared to Otto who is a little more physical. She appears to listen better than Otta though. Awesome video!

The way it is professionally managed and licensed by the state is really what set you apart. keep up the good work sir. I shall hit you up if I am ever headed that way.
Great job!, I play on several of the courses here in Palm Beach county and you are right, they are everywhere!! It is unlikely they will ever be eliminated, just managed. Your dog is something else!!, how you got her trained to fetch and sit is awesome. Sorta like bird dogs we used to hunt with for quail and waterfowl. It kinda concerns me about gators in those ponds and canals, but I’m sure you have that her safety in the forefront of her job. Keep up the great work. As an interesting note, when you were feeding that one lizard( Nile monitor?) it whipped its tail around in defense. I had something like that happen on the course, there was a small iguana that was in the way on the green and I cautiously went up to it and prodded it with my putter to get it to move…, that thing whipped that tail around and caught my putter shaft instead of my leg!!!…fast fast, I’m sure with that scaly tail it would have cut my leg!

As an old grey haired dude, I get tremendous satisfaction when watching a very nicely trained dog and hunter working together and showing off all the hard training. Tremendous job. I know that sounds like a bunch of blah blah blah,,, but you have to recognize the dedication and work to get to that skill level.
Rogue is like, my job is to get the iguanas, make Trapper Mike happy and to do my very bestest. Otto is like, kill it! IT’S MINE GO GO GO Wolverine! Lol both are such amazing hunters & entertaining to watch.

My backyard. Thank you for your work on these invasives. On the opposite side of the preserve, we take them out residential side from our backyard the best we can. We really need you to come over and take out the Egyptian Geese. There are probably a dozen right now.
