Short term injury that may take a longer time to heal is because Boo Radley is an older guy, is the best kind of news that you could have heard! It's also good that he does not have doggy dementia too. Enjoy your time with Boo Radley. No one wants their much loved pet to be in pain, but short term pain is the best case scenario!

I am so relieved that your vet was able to find something to help. As I suffer with osteoarthritis and have times when I can't get comfortable, sometimes to the point of tears with the pain, I was hoping against hope that that would be the issue with Boo Radley, and that he just needed an adjustment. We've been giving our 14 year old husky that shot for almost a year now for her terrible arthritis. We've had wonderful results. It did take about 2 mnths to see real consistent improvement but it has been amazing. We use gabapentin basically as needed.

Hi Peter, I’m so happy that little Boo is doing better 💖 I haven’t had much of a chance to pass my well wishes in text but I have been keeping you, Alex, and Boo Baby in my heart and sending love. You gave me well wishes when my elder kitty had to go to the emergency vet and I am so grateful that the good karma came back to you.
I hope that his healing process goes smoothly, and know it can be heart breaking watching their habits change after a medical scare like this- but it serves as a reminder to cherish every moment with them. Love you Peter, Alex, and Boo 💖💖

I'm so happy that boo will be ok. You have an amazing community who loves boo too. It's the hardest thing to lose our fur babies. Before I lost my last fur baby, I clipped off some of her fur and put in a special box, so I'll always have peace of her with me. Boo might like a Temperpedic bed Amazon has them there are not too expensive, I got one for mine but she doesn't like

Hi Peter!! I’m happy Boo is going to be ok😃. My chihuahua died like Tucker. She was fine when we went to bed & she woke up & was doing the pacing & had a seizure & passed last Tuesday😭 I just got done crying again😭

I was at my sons Water Polo game tonight and kept checking UA-cam to get a Boo update! Yay Peter!! Injuries heal! So it is great news!….Phew!
I'm so glad you talked about faith today. You always say what I need to hear. I've been fearful and praying for safety a lot lately given the state of the world and 2 soft lockdowns at my daughter's school. You're right. If I have faith and am in the wheelbarrow there should not be anything to fear and I should not he praying over and over again for the same thing every night. There should be comfort in having a higher power.

First of all I’m so happy Boo is ok, to me it sounded like he was painful and couldn’t get comfortable. I have a 97 pound Pitt Bull that has bad authorities in her hind leg so I get it.
Can I make a suggestion? When Boo is acting painful or strangely, video tape what’s going on so the Vet can see what you are. You got really good news today.

Our 11yr old Samoyed has been doing monthly Labrella shots for a year and it has been amazing for his arthritis! No side effects. I know how hard this stuff can be he has diabetes and is always at the vet. Sending you love 🩷🩷

I'm so happy Boo is healing! Great news! The more you explained it reminded me of what happened to my cat last year. She was good one day then the next morning she didn't want to move or eat. She would take a few steps and then sit down. She was not herself at all. When I took her to the vet they said she probably hurt her leg. So they gave us pain meds and in a few days she was good again. But of course with Boo it will take longer because of his age but at least he is on the mend!!

It’s great to have a vet that is very frank and realistic. I had a vet once that talked about all the things we could do for my cat which was essentially kidney dialysis. We ended up making the decision to put her down. The vet was very nice and I don’t think she was trying to upcharge us. I think she couldn’t stand to see ppl cry and wanted to tell us all possible options.

Hearing your experience at the moment is breaking my heart. I had to say goodbye to my darling Cookie 4 weeks ago, we’d been together since she was 8 weeks old and she was 13yrs & 3 months when I had to make the decision to let her go. My heart still physically hurts but I know I did the right thing at the right time.
