I totally understand your anxiety and sadness about Boo Radley . I just look at my pets and cry because I know they have a very short time on this earth. It’s not fair because they are so precious and innocent .
I also completely understand, empathize. I love all animals, dogs and especially my Baby, my Cat. I had to suddenly leave my apt due to being in harm's way if I would have stayed. I am so sad and depressed without her. My neighbor has her but I feel so guilty. Right now, I am homeless and wouldn't be fair to her to have suffering with me. I'm making steps to be with her and to hopefully have a place where we I can have her with me and take care of her. Thank you all for being such great fellow animal lovers! God Bless❤

I absolutely love the scents of the Native Deodorants, I bought so many of them. I tried to use it for like two months and it made me break out so badly under my arms. It was so sad because they smell so good. I did notice that it left orangish/brownish stains on shirts. I hope it works for you though ❤
Oh no! I had to switch to Native because I’m apparently allergic to everything else 😮💨 I would get terrible rashes after using deodorants that were supposed to gentle, etc. I’m sorry it didn’t end up working for you! I haven’t had any skin issues or staining with the coconut & vanilla. Why do we have to have weird skin?! 😆
@@TiffLockheart Skin is so complicated. I swear, I can use a deodorant for like and year and then just one day I start getting an allergic reaction lol. I think the coconut oil in the Native was what was causing the break outs with Native. They were weird breaks out too. It was like I would get big hard bumps under my skin that would hurt so bad! Native has the best scents too. Sad day for me lol.
My 2 senior dogs are dealing with doggie dementia currently, 14 yrs old and 12 yrs old. Our 14 yr old girl has it worse while our 12 yr old boy is just starting with it. It's mostly at night...think of it as human 'sun downing' a little but, so you may not see it during the day necessarily. Our Luna definitely has good days and bad days, she doesn't necessarily have bad episodes every day. We also have gabepentin we can use to help relax her, it just seems so hard on her, really knocks her out so I don't like to give it to her unless she's having a really bad night. We are the same way as you guys, we are not putting our dogs down simply because they have dementia. We've decided as a family that we will do what we can to keep them happy and comfortable and when we are not able to anymore, we know it's time to help them cross. Saying prayers for you guys and Mr. Boo. I know it's so tough to go thru with them, I just remind myself on the hard days that we are their entire world.
I love pickle juice too. It’s a remedy for muscle cramping, and your tummy will love you for it…it does the same thing sauerkraut does. It also gives you cool dreams.
I truly hope Mr. Boo Radley is okay. I just stopped crying about Billi (the cat that talked with buttons) and 2 other pets I watched regularly on UA-cam. I can't imagine it is his time yet. I live in Utah and we have all sorts of soda shops. As someone in recovery it’s helpful to have a place to go grab a drink still! Fizz is our local soda shop!
If the not wanting to be pet is new, maybe he’s having pain somewhere that a vet could check out? If you still want to get him steps up to the bed, he might just need a few treat sessions to get acclimated to them. Dogs don’t always generalize so walking up the stairs between floors of the house might not be the same for him as steps to the bed, which is new. Love and best thoughts for Boo and his dads ❤️🐶❤️
Hey… as an owner of a senior Cat who’s 18.. I totally get it. I agree with everyone that he can just wear himself out… my “Mama” has arthritis. There is a newer injection that has gotten good feedback… and last a little longer than taking a pill everyday. 🤷♀️ Anyhoo .. as a senior pet owner .. I get the worry. It’s heightened bc you know anytime could be there last, and every little ache and pain and “off day” reminds you of that. Totally normal and get the heightened worry 🤍
Hey Peter! Our animals don’t like little stairs either but we got our older animal a ramp to try instead and he’ll use it! He refuses the stairs. Just a thought, glad to hear he’s doing better! 🥰
I completely understand your feelings about Boo Radley. One of my cats who we've had since they were 3 months old and are going to be 10 in Nov has been in kitty hospital with a decline in his kidney disease and I've been beside myself, near inconsolable and having panic attacks because they've said he has months left rather than years. My poor baby boy. Thankfully he's responding well to treatment and fluids but I can't get out of this state of panic. All the best to you both ❤️
We just did the Miami/Key West vacay this summer! Stayed in South Beach for a couple nights, then drove to KW for several then back to south beach to fly home. We live near StL. We aren’t huge partiers either. Went w 2 other couples. Highly recommend!
Just in case you see this and you didn’t see my comment on yesterdays video, Boo Radley might benefit from Adequan injections (the only FDA approved treatment for arthritis in dogs) in addition to the carprofen, the gabapentin might be making him tired. if stairs didn’t work you might try a ramp instead

I like to sleep in complete darkness…I got a nightlight that is motion sensor and it’s pretty sensitive where if I’m laying it’s on but once I prop up it goes off so I can see to go to rest room, it has setting for how bright u want it. Got a two pack from Amazon, one is in my bathroom so I never turn the light on when I go in the middle of the night
I hope that the snow removal will be good from now on. This is something that is on my mind being that it's slowly getting colder for you and in the past they haven't been that good about removing it for you. This is just a side note.
When boo stops eating and drinking and won’t get and starts losing weight or control over his bladder etc and has accidents in the house he’s fine. Don’t worry about him

I have an elderly ferret and elderly pets definitely have good days and they have bad days, that's what my vet told me, it's when the bad days out number the good and that's when it's time ❤ he could have that thing where he doesn't realize when daytime and nighttime is 😕
They sell half gallons of pickle juice here at our food lion grocery store. My bf drinks it straight from the container! I do like a sip every now & then. He loves cucumbers & vinegar too lol!
I found that the regular Native deodorant stocks smell great, but don’t hold up that well to odor. However, I recently tried their whole body spray deodorant and it knocks it out of the park for me! I use the coconut vanilla and I smell like a cake! 🥥 ✨
It must be stressful being in a constant state of back and forth if Boo is ok or not. That sounds very anxiety inducing. That's what anxiety feels like all the time for me. Just when you relax something else happens. Like you can never truly relax.
I liked native deodorant but where it doesn't have antiperspirant you be getting the sweaty/sticky pits. But it does help odor. Way better than that nasty Lume stuff.
My friend had a car taking photos of their home when we were kids. She and I thought we were going to get kidnapped. It was for the homeowners insurance🤣
I wish I had more confidence to speak my second language with others. When we go to Italy, my husband speaks more than I do even though he doesn’t speak Italian 🤪. I’m always so afraid of making a mistake… sigh

I just meant it that maybe he has a cycle of excitement and rest. I would listen to you talk about watching paint dry. You could repeat the same things every week and I would still listen. You know Boo a hell of a lot better than I do. I thought maybe my comment could be reassuring but it sounds like it wasn’t. I’m sorry if it felt dismissive or rude. I hope Boo is well and that you feel peace about his situation.
I actually made Chili for Dinner last night, it was so good. My daughter suggested it, even though its still hot as hell here. I use the Native deodorant is I love it, when I made the switch it took my body a few days to get used to the change but now I love it, its lasts me all day and I work in a kitchen that gets so hot in the middle of the summer. They have so many good scents to choose from 😂
I’m not vegetarian, but I don’t love burgers so I always order the Big Mac with no meat at McDonald’s. I modify it on the app, but plz let me know if there’s a cheaper way to order it - I always feel I’m overpaying since I don’t get the meat 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve used native since 2020. It’s expensive but I like it. I also don’t sweat to much so idk how it might hold up if you do

A couple yrs ago we stayed in Miami and did a day trip to the keys, drive was t as scary as I thought it would be ❤ recommend it!

I actually made Chili for Dinner last night, it was so good. My daughter suggested it, even though its still hot as hell here.
