He's now ranked number 11 and on a 3 fight skid. 38 now, was 37 when he fought Colby, same age as Lawler when Colby fought him, both strikers past their prime. The current top contenders are: Shavkat, Belal, Burns and Khamzat and he hasn't fought any of them.

Glad Leon pulled this one off. He proved to the world that his first win over Usman wasn't just a fluke. Disappointing that he doesn't want Colby next. But I guess this is payback for all the trash talk. Masvidal would be a fun fight but he's too far down the totem pole for that match up to make sense.

I think that, if you train and are acclimated to it, you can kind of adjust for it. Whereas if your entire camp is at a lower altitude (and then you have to fight at a higher altitude) it will be difficult to maintain the same kind of cardiovascular performance.
