vietnamese is a very rich language which has 7 tones, including those from cantonese (6) and mandarin (4), but also including tones from thai, cambodia, and vernacular from indonesia. in fact, the cham pa people (now southern vietnam) were close relatives to indonesians. many people including naive vietnamese people think that most of our culture is just from china, but that is untrue. centuries ago, the au lac (vietnam) yunan, gangxi, and guangdong shared a common ancestry in called the baiyue. this is why our language and culture are so similar, these people are are close relatives, our brothers and sisters long before these provinces were conquered by the chinese. but the chinese failed to conquer vietnam, even after they conquered our land they failed to assimilate the people so they were kicked out of the land. the vietnamese people independent from the chinese, you can see the difference in our food, our culture, our language (spoken and written). our language is difficult to learn, it's hard to simply utter a phrase correctly and even harder to sing to impress. but it is a unique language nevertheless. it's tragic that many vietnamese people today do not realize how sophisticated and beautiful our vietnamese culture is...

Besides being slightly less convenient than a smartphone camera that's with you at all times, it's better than them in every other way. Hard for me to justify ANOTHER camera in my life but what if it can just replace 2-3 of them? Amazing.

I feel like the camera is o.k in low light or uneven exposures, think it could be better at balancing the light automatically. Still contemplating on grabbing it since I'll be shooting a lot at night. It looks super convenient tho and makes this whole story possible, love the wide angle shots you got. You did a great job at showing this camera off in all sorts of situations and lighting, thank you for that!

I love your video content and style. It's also great (though sad) to always see you repping the Bay in an A's cap (like I wear my Mets caps all over the East Bay), even when you're in New York. I recognized all the locations you shot at, even the bridge over 580, hehe.
I have loved my original Osmo Pocket and enjoyed using it since I got it in late 2019, and have been eagerly awaiting an improved update. I'm not in a rush to get it, but I'm pretty sure I'll eventually pick up the Pocket 3.

Can you explain the audio set up at 4:10 when you're in the gym please? The cam is set up at a distance but the audio quality is great. Are you both mic's up or is this just the internal mic capturing the dialogue?

How does this compare to the iPhone 15 pro max video? Especially when traveling. I have a hard time filming with the iPhone in wide angle because the edges to warp which is annoying. As well as holding the iPhone. Can you do a comparison pls? Thx

I've notices the pocket 3 looks trashy in FULL noon time daylight. Looks great near magic hour. Would an ND filter help it look better at full on daytime?
yes of course. ND filters are going to help with this greatly. whenever DJI or Third party ones are available.

when you did that wide silhouette shot (boxing with your friend at 7:20), what was your focus setting? i mean, the auto focus wasn't adjusting and it looked great. 😊
I honestly didn't even set the auto focus - I just put the camera on a chair and hit record. Got lucky haha

When I switched over to low light mode it didn’t give me the option to film in D-Log M

arguably yes... but it's so much better in low light than any phone... and also there's the gimble.
how come? (I mean iPhone has a plus with the processing) it is a rule of thumb that it all boils down with the sensor size right?

Overheating problems.
I tried to do a 4K 60fps HDR video and my camera stopped working after less than 15min.!
