It looks kind of like they took A Nighthawk and combined it with a B-2 Spirit... one sexy looking plane... even if it -is- a drone.
Now it's fully autonomous (it does everything by itself without human intervention), you need not wait a few years my friend. :-)
The taxiing to the launcher is not automated yet.
Just wondering, cause the quality is so incredible.. Did you film this yourself or do you feature professional made videos?

Curious to know how the plane maintains in a straight line without swinging sideways when it appears that the deceleration upon landing is partly (largely?) a result from the rope holding pulling it back.

Capt h00k different drone. RQ-170 was a Lockheed Martin drone. This is a Northrop Grumman technology demonstrator stealth drone.

How many years until they are fully autonomous? When they get tasked by command to attack a target and they decide the best way to get there and how to do it without getting shot down. Until then it's still down to the best of the best, Navy pilots flying the ucavs, fighting them and above all, landing them again! Impressive stuff.
