I'd really like it if someone who reaction babymetal songs had a knowledge of music, well because babymetal can't be accepted for everyone I myself like babymetal because of the unique sound that there's been every single song of them I couldn't find that unique sound from any other band or group
Most people, (myself included), have no idea how much practice and preparation this unit as a whole goes through to give us such a treat! I am in awe of such an effort.
@@venicerealm Read a translated interview quite awhile back with their creator, producer Kei Kobayashi aka Koba or Kobametal on the girls' dance choreography. This was early on before "babymetal" when they were part of the heavy music club in Sakura Gakuin. Koba said about Yui she appeared to have prior dance training, which was the case. Moa was not a trained dancer at that time. Before all that, Yui & Moa were child fashion/clothing line models. Suzuka Nakamoto had prior stage acting & dance experience when she was a member of the group Karen Girls, & at a young age approx 3rd or 4th grade. Yui was inspired by the Karen Girls & wanted to be a future member. She practiced their choreo over & over until she got their moves down. WOW! Excellent reaction / analysis. Thanks! I believe you enjoyed this one a little bit hehehe... 😁 First, the solos: one of my favorite intros ever. I love them all but I'm a sucker for Mikio's guitar solos. RIP buddy! And yes, bass guitars can have more than four strings. It's not really needed but I guess BOH feels more comfy with a huge 6-stringed bass, specially when he wants to shred it Clint Tustin, kami of bass from the western Kami Band, uses a 5-stringed bass... and he's actually a guitarist. The song itself is also one of my favorites. Upbeat tempo based on ska vibe which works perfectly for me. Not to mention that breakdown... really nasty, my favorite along the breakdown from "Megitsune". It's funny you said: "beautiful" and then I realized you were talking about the choreo 🤣 And there is the choreo. You nailed the analysis so... It's so much fun and Yui used to kill it. This was her last performance with BABYMETAL so my feelings are a little odd to this particular performance. Until next time!
As a bass player, that is a bass. Basses are usually 4 string, in metal 5 string is more common, adding a B string to provide lower notes. This is a six string, also adding C string to allow for higher notes. Six strings is not unusual. Beatles used six string basses on several songs, like The Long and Winding Road for one. I have a six string so I can play Babymetal songs and just for that reason. The beat is from a genre called Ska. I think this is Babymetal's best composition, not my favorite song but the best crafted song so far. Or Brand New Day. Su also doesn't go full out dancing because she is singing; to provide breath control and the foundation for notes, she has to be grounded. Singers who belt are always grounded during the belt. Su is working as hard as Yui and Moa though. It takes a lot of energy so sing and especially belt high notes. Su has said that she sometimes struggles in a performance in balancing dance steps, singing, and breathing. She makes it look effortless though.
Thank you for explaining about the bass as i got to learn why we have the additional strings😁 and yes of course I know and already said that su metal needs to control her singing and so she limits her head movement the most to easily keep singing looking as effortless as she makes it seem😊
Great observations & choreo analysis.👍 Their dance techniques are unlike what i've seen with jpop dance groups. These girls are actually ninjas from the Hidden Leaf Village in the Land of Fire. Their speciality is the Dance Jutsu which is a form of Genjutsu activated by their elevated Chakra levels taught to them by their Hokage, Naruto Izumaki.

I knew it works be a great reaction! Well, I think everyone did. 🙂 It sucked during that part where you talking about how beautiful something was. I'm like, WHAT??? What is she seeing?? 😅
this is from Big Fox Festival (2017). And this is last concert where u can see all girls together. After Big Fox Festival one of the girls ( Yui Mizuno ) will leave the band.
The funny this is, I've seen many posts where people claim they can see a difference in Yui's dance at this point. That she doesn't seem to be "into" it anymore and she isn't happy, or smiling. But she still looks fairly much as she always does when she performs. Maybe I'm just not seeing it. But either way these were the golden years for Babymetal. Can't wait to see what they have coming up!
@@jeremyboynowski3784 I didn't notice that either. I don't know about the Big Fox Festival, but in previous concerts in 2017, Yui smiled a lot and had fun with Moa during the performances. Many attribute some physical problems to Yui .. but it seems to me that she did not have such obvious problems. It is possible that during the Big Fox Festival she already knew about the health problems, and was simply preoccupied with it.
@@rexeros8825 That is something that makes sense thst never occured to me. I also always wondered if she came down with whatever her family had previously and that is why she left.
@@jeremyboynowski3784 as far as I know Suzuka and Moa made enough money, something like 10 million dollars each, I guess Yui also made good money in her time, and the girls may still be helping her. So I tend to think health problems are the real reason. It could be heart problems, diabetes, joint problems, and much more.
They are so professional that during Red Night Apocalypse concert when Yui falls off stage, Su and Moa continue on to finish the song just the two of them. And when Yui came back for the next song the crowd all cheering for her 🤗 than during that song Moa seems to hurt her ankle but continue on to finish the song. Luckily it was the last song. She was grimacing in pain the entire song and seems to be holding herself not to cry 💪 Thats dedication and professionalism to me 🤘🦊
Nice reaction. a personal favorite of mine. A lot of the choreography here is based on the lyrics. Which is about making decisions. You can choose this or that it doesn't matter they're all the same. But if you look closer you can see they're actually different. Yava! Paralyzing the decision process. While that's the bases of the song. Some folks have pointed out that some of the lyrics could be about the problems folks had in the early days of telling Yui and Moa apart. So many folks thought they were twins. But it's true all you needed to do is look a little closer and you can tell them apart. Babymetal likes their lyrics to be vague so that the song can mean whatever the listener wants it to. Makes the song personal to you. Amazing how they can write so many songs that way. Next up is the Ska rhythm used throughout the song. Most metal songs would never have used it. A bit too dancy for metal. We get another example of how good their composers are since they're able to mix the two genres. For more Ska music sounds checkout the band No Doubt. They did some great Ska music. As far as the red is Babymetals outfits goes. Red is the color of a hero in Japan. By wearing red in their warrior outfits shows to everyone they're the hero's. Metal hero for sure, each and every one of them. See You
Thanks UA-cam! I checked for Babymetal reactions an hour ago and there was no video. Now I see this one and it's 4 hours old? And I can't watch it because I'm at work. Well, I'm sure it will be great a always. I'm looking great to seeing it later tonight. 🙂
For the bass you should see it like this: 4 string is professional level 5 string is highly advanced level 6 string is GOD level And this is a Ska rhythm, a Jamaican music style
Great reaction. Even though I am always impressed by the degree of difficulty in their choreography having someone like you point out the specifics of why what they do is so amazing really helps me understand. Now I am even more amazed. They once called James Brown “the hardest working man in show business”. Well I cannot imagine any one or any group being harder workers than these girls. Take care. Until next time.
Their choreo based on a lot of big movements and seem rather simpler at first, not as technical complex as, for example, a lot of K-pop dance moves (some of these moves can break your bones, lol). But the uniqueness in each of their song and their energy is completely on different level as they give it all to even make the crowd feel it
Oh, I finally got to watch your video, I feel a bit bad it gave you so many problems with the copyright. Thank you for your effort! I know a lot of people likes this version from YAVA! because it was the only time they did the song with the kami band intro, but for me it is a bit sad to see Yui in the state she is here. I mean, she still does it good, but this was her last concert and you can see she is not feeling comfortable in her face, doesn't move with the strength she had before, barely jumps (and Moa doesn't either so it is not noticed). We do not know what happened to her, but the talk in the Babymetal community is that her health problems had started here already. Some people speculated with some back damage and she being on painkillers, but we do not know. Still a good song. The meaning is not sure, they seem to be anxious about something (YAVA! -> Oh no!). "This is wrong, that is wrong, I can't stop worrying about it". That's mostly what the lyrics says all the song. My personal theory was that they are worried about their careers because they expected to be popular singers and were doing Heavy Metal and that's weird af in the eyes of everyone, so they are unsure about their careers. But who knows, maybe it just means nothing deep.
incredible reaction as always, your reaction reminds me of the first BABYMETAL performance, where Tiny Baby Moa starts too early, it breaks my heart every time, you should really react to it, maybe someone from "The ONE" can link the video
Is at Babymetal Reactor Resource channel under "Y_A_V_A BFF 2017" title, link in the description for non logo version, if you want more unique clips of their best live performance watch "Future Plans",.in the description you got the spreadsheet with all those clips.

@@venicerealm ohhhh I should have known. Surprise!! A Babymetal video is blocked. 😆
@@venicerealm I was lucky, because I watched It before being blocked.🤗
😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘
For the bass you should see it like this:
4 string is professional level
5 string is highly advanced level
6 string is GOD level
And this is a Ska rhythm, a Jamaican music style
aaaa yes ska it makes more sense for it to be ska :)
And what about who plays 7 strings bass?

You're so cute 😍
I was fascinated by your video. I want her to come to Japan and take a video...
Aaww thank you glad you liked it 😁😄
Great reaction.
But the uniqueness in each of their song and their energy is completely on different level as they give it all to even make the crowd feel it
Unparalleled energy.
