Interesting how she was emailing her friend saying that she didn't like Kyron, and yet she decided to take pictures of him with his science project and upload them to Facebook. Almost as though she thought she might need proof that she dropped him off at school...
While I would take pics (even if I didn't like said kid) I would take them and send to parents for them, not posted for myself of someone I claimed to not like... Unless, what you said.
So obvious it was her just from the "family adress" to the public, her body language to Kyron's mother and way she carried herself said it all. Reminds me of my crazy ex.
I just can't imagine two grown adults talking about how they hate a 7yr old. As a younger person I assumed people matured as they got older. It's situations like these that force you to realize how many old overgrown, decrepit, and selfish children roam the earth. Many ppl never grow out of their self-centred child mind.
The Mom said it best, “I can remember what I ate that day. And she can’t remember where she was.” How horrible, poor boy. He looked so happy at the science fair.
The mom is lying. Terri told the police what she did multiple times. She's still willing to talk to them, but they haven't asked her for an interview since 2010. This is in public records.
Reno Thomas WE ALL KNOW ITS TERRI!!! ARREST HER ALREADY! Desiree and Terri WERE NEVER friends. Terri put out to try and make herself look better. Terri has always been jealous of Desiree. Can’t understand what the hell Kaine was thinking to go from Desiree to that thing 🤮 Talk about a downgrade. The book goes into EVEN MORE details about HER disgusting scandalous heartless behavior. All of our suspicions haven’t changed. It’s HER. It’s always been HER. All of us in Oregon know it was HER. ARREST HER ALREADY!!!! If you’re from Oregon you’ve got to get a copy of Kyrons book that just came out. It’s called “BOY MISSING - THE SEARCH FOR KYRON HORMAN” by Rebecca Morris. It’s bailable on Amazon, kindle, nook and audio. Totally worth the read. It’s so Heartbreaking to read from Desiree’s perspective but also reaffirming - TERRI IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER HAPPENED TO KYRON ON JUNE 4th 2010. Read the book BOY MISSING- The Search For Kyron Horman - Grab a box of tissues and be prepared to join “Kyron’s World Soldiers” - an army of supporters who want to know WHERE KYRON IS!!!!!!!! Tick Tock Terri ..... We WILL NEVER GIVE UP KYRON!! WE PROMISE!!!
Kyrons mom frequently walks through the Forrest trying to find him. She’s a one woman team. I can’t imagine what she is going through and the anger of KNOWING what makes sense but not having enough for an arrest. I really hope this baby is found.
Hate that this the outcome for her, but it does show the unwavering devotion and love from mother to child. There is a dichotomy of purity of love, and the tragic disgusting crime from a supposed somewhat "surrogate" parent and a child into a mixed family. Not at all saying that there is a large proportion of mixed families that don't work or end in tragedy, my point is more the comparative nature to contrast between such diametric opposites. And overall how tragic yet beautiful that a mothers love is so powerful.
@@switchbladekid57 kinda agree with you on this... I'm not going to make excuses. If I was one of his soldiers, I would need probably some sort of ATV or whatever I could use to ride through wherever. I'd do it. I have 15-25+stress fractures in my body including 10 or more fractured vertebrae (sacrum and lumbar) , and more fractures throughout different areas:left side of jaw, left wrist, my pelvis, both rib connections to spine, a couple ribs themselves both hips, and maybe more. I agree with you 💯 that actions always speak louder than words, but if given the chance to help and research in a case like this, or an unsolved murder in general I would love to help if I can. Again I'm broke and going through a health crisis but that shit hasn't stopped me from other things . I wouldn't want to let it run my life know either.
@@OftenGreenLaflippadoos Oh my God, you've really been through the wringer. I'm so sorry that you're suffering like this. Unfortunately, Kyron Horman's World Soldiers are actually vigilantes, more interested in harassing Terri than in actually locating the boy's body.
Currently Terri is living in Lake County, California. She drives a green camero with a black stripe on the middle. The town harasses her when she's seen.
Can confirm I went to this school when this happened and he was there, photographic evidence, student and teacher testimony, and then he was gone. All of us were shocked because how could he just disappear? We were a school of 300 total (kindergarten through 8th grade), all of us were friends and knew each other’s families. There’s no way someone unknown walked into the school and was not stopped and asked what they were doing there, who their kid was, etc. Once my uncle came to pick me and my sister up and no one at the school knew him and so he was stopped from getting more than a couple steps into the building. It all points back to Terri.
@Bill j During research, true crime authors usually go to the source and interview many people connected to the case: neighbors, friends, classmates, teachers.
Bill j WRONG!! Terri is guilty !!! MULTIPLE ADULTS & children saw Terri leaving with Kyron. It’s not IF it’s WHEN she is held accountable for ALL she has done! Tick Tock TERRI .. WHERE IS KYRON?!!
Bill j you can’t just base an entire argument off her words tho? Just cuz she said she left without him doesn’t mean she did? She also stated the last time she saw him was when he was walking to class but there was no record of him being at school after Terri left. There is like a 1 in a million chance that a stranger took him in the school building in the ten min it took for her to last see him and class to start. Or that he wondered outside and someone took him in the ten min she saw him walking to class and class starting? Nothing about her story adds up. She lied and he must have left with her. It’s the only reason he left his stuff and didn’t cause a seen when he disappeared and it’s the only story that fits the time line.
My heart broke at the end when Mike said that one of Kyron's big fears was not being able to make his way home, and then "Hopefully, some day, he will." Well-worded, Mike, as per usual. Thanks for this video; it was so tough, though.
It’s unreal what people get away with by simply denying and denying. The Casey Anthony case just baffles me beyond comprehension. If you can wait a month before reporting your child missing, get caught telling multiple versions of what happened, have google searches about killing, find blood and chemicals in the trunk... AND still get away with it by claiming innocence... then I’m hopeful committing any crime. Jesus Christ that case baffles me
@A Tangerine the defense in the Casey Anthony case presented plausibility that her father had done it, and Casey 's mother testified that it might have happened that way. Her parents worked to defend Casey. In this case, we can't even say a crime was committed. A defense attorney will say, "could he have wandered into the woods behind the school and gotten lost?' it's a reasonable supposition.
@@nimo517 I read somewhere it was because of the prosecution trying to get her on higher charges. If they had done like 2nd degree murder not 1st degree they might've gotten that murdering bitch.
but in this case id say they do have evidence cause so many witnessed terri with kyran and she failed polygraph and she cant account for her whereabouts ,which makes it all the more frustrating
I laughed so hard when she said that there was a dodgy white truck by the 7-Eleven and the person asked her where the nearest school was. Yeah pedophiles go around asking random people where the nearest schools are.
@@MrDotR What Mike missed about the Portland Metro Area is the Coyote factor, as we have almost no roadkill here, as the Coyotes eat all the roadkill... If Kyron did get lost & hurt in the woods or his body was dumped in the woods by a murderer, there could be little to no evidence of their meal within 24 hours... Which means this case likely will never be solved...
The fact that little boy could never show his science project that he was so excited to show is heartbreaking. who could hurt a child? I can’t even fathom
@@Lee_Lee1776 It breaks my heart. Now that I have children, I can't handle stories like this. I can see the innocence and trust in the child's face in those pictures, and can't even fathom what such an innocent little person could be thinking in their last moments with a person (with whom they love and trust) whilst they are being betrayed in the most horrific way. The thought makes my heart feel like it might come undone.
@chris kibodeaux it’s beyond debatable. I’d say it’s almost certain that she left with him. Sure, they can’t prove it. But common, you know that bitch did it

As a father of a 3 year old baby girl, my baby going missing/ kidnapped is my worst fear over. I saw a post on Facebook about a billboard “I promise I will find you. I will never stop, love momma” that broke me I couldn’t imagine what the mother is going through.
A grown up hating a little kid so ferociously that she blamed him for her failing marriage and clearly got rid of him? Jesus. The world is so messed up. That poor baby smiling into the camera at his science fair....and the terror he must have felt in his last moments. I can't imagine. No question in MY mind she's guilty af.
And no doubt once she disposed of Kyron and then the husband via the hired hitmen - she would have inherited the house and any savings / insurance etc. in her husband's name. His son already dead would not inherit a cent.
I was wondering how a grown woman could hate a child. I guess I can understand being annoyed by the "you aren't my Mom and you can't tell me what to do" attitude some kids show. But this kiddo was only 7. Kids aren't usually that young when they start that. My heart goes out to Kyrons parents and step dad.
Sometimes...when there is no big proof....the small proofs all together are tight ..and discriminating...(like being the last person with the victim+having some kind of fight struggle in his chest at same day the victim is missing+he is an killer also after few years) This is proof
I was a local resident in two separate Oregon counties where his stepmother hid after local press kept tracking her down and I can't tell you how grateful I am that you decided to reintroduce this case to a new gen of internet slueths. Seriously, thank you. Okay, I'll start the video now....

That way he'd go quietly and willingly. I believe it's not merely a coincidence that both she and her best friend have a 90 minute window that they can't account for. This is aggravating and heartbreaking 😡😞

@@herpaderp-bp4pe Key word there is “seemed”. The most frightening thing about true crime is that it is true and almost none of the people who commit horrific crimes ever “seem” like they could be capable of it. There could be a whole host of reasons, most likely the depression - which is a subject that needs to be talked about a lot more often - but it doesn’t change the obvious fact that she is involved.
@JaneyAnimal rescuer 247 Are you saying Gannon's mom lived with her ex,? She didn't live with them in Colorado, she lived out of state. She did however come and stay in that house when she found out Gannon had "ran away" She only stayed to help search, and until it was evident Gannon was gone and his step mother Leticia was to blame. Considering how moronic Leticia is, it didn't take long.
@A B Them both taking eerie pictures right before they killed these young boys is one of the similarities that chills my soul. Gannon is asleep in his bed, and Kyron right in front of his science project. I think leticia made herself a suspect on day 2. All those crazy lies, and outrageous behavior. Terry didn't come across as a suspect until weeks into the investigation. I do hope she gets whats coming to her. And I hope she's never allowed to change her name. She should have to live with it for the rest of her miserable life. As far as leticia goes, her goose is cooked. Lol
Someone has to know something. The fact that a body hasn’t been found and that it’s 12 yrs now makes me so sad. The family deserves answers and I hope the truth comes out soon.
That's heartbreaking. Poor little guy..so innocent. I was a nanny in San Diego when Danielle Van Dam went missing later found murdered. The families kids went to the same elementary school and wanted to always drive around to search for her 😥. He was pretty torn up and afraid for a while. This was back in 2001. This one was extra sad to watch.
This is heartbreaking. My son went missing. He was found safe within a couple of hours, but it was the most terrible afternoon of my life. I can't even begin to imagine the torment these parents have gone through.
I know what you mean. My cat went missing once and I completely freaked out, I started hyperventilating and almost puked because I was so upset. Luckily I found her within half an hour. I can’t even (and don’t want to) imagine having a child go missing...
I can’t imagine. I remember my parent’s lost me in a crowd as a child for ten minutes and my Mom was inconsolable. She said it felt like 10 hrs. And I know it’s not the same, but my dog ran off a few weeks ago and I felt my whole world caving in. I burst into tears when he ran towards me after twenty minutes. Loss and be unknown is horrific. Prayers to this family.
I was in a clothes shop the other day and because I am in a wheelchair and down low I saw a child hiding under a clothes rack. I whispered to him laughing if he was playing hide and seek and he said no I can't find my mam and I am scared. Obviously I told him to come with me and we would get her. The look of terror on his mothers face will haunt me, Imagine feeling that way for months or years. He had been gone 10 minutes and there had been announcements on the tannoy but I had ear phones in and hadn't heard it, and those who had, couldn't see him because he was hiding.. Stuff like that terrifies me, what if he had stayed hiding (because he had been told not to speak to strangers,) seems the fact I was in a wheelchair made him feel safe enough to talk to me.
My son went missing for a very short time when he was 2 and I'd rather die than experience that kind of fear ever again. This is the worst thing a person can ever go through. I feel so sorry for every parent who lost their child.
His last photograph ever taken is oddly terrifying with the csi shirt. What a handsome young man. Wherever you are little dude I hope you’re at peace and your family one day gets some closure.
It would also have been solved if the person that picks the kid up has to show an ID and sign it out. What is that for a school when someone getting in and just taking a kid without getting asked if that is legit is even possible? I am not hysteric, but my kid wouldn't go to a school like that.
As a local to this case, it just utterly baffles me as to how this case was not solved. There was so much going for the case, so many breadcrumbs and clues to follow, and there is a very clear suspect in this case, yet almost zero movement has been made (at least as far as the public knows) in all of that time. It blows my mind. Where the hell is Kyron? Where is he, Terri? Where is he??
Scott N I don’t know if they searched any other forests other than forest park, but there’s a lot of forest and mountains to the west of the area. Not even 40 minutes out and you could pull off to a trailhead, go off trail a ways and dump a body there. It would never be found.
That's the first time I've heard Mike crack up like that, hilarious...do you know what it means when Terry texted "I will show you how I can do a golf ball through a garden hose"... haha, I really don't know no matter how I try to visualize, lol?!

I’m from Portland and was 13 when poor Kyron went missing…it’s the case that haunts me. I’ll never forget how hollow I felt, watching the billboards with Kyron’s sweet, smiling face age and tatter with time-further and further from being found…He went from a household name, talked about in assemblies across city schools, to a painful memory. I hope-even if it’s beyond hope-that Kyron’s whereabouts are uncovered. His family, and Kyron’s memory, deserve that closure.
@@inassh8685 The stepmom saying “there are a lot of pedophiles in the area” brought another horrible possibility to mind- she could have sold/given him away to a pedo she previously arranged plans with. In the press call with the parents, Terri isn’t crying, just acting. She attaches herself physically to her husband and Kyron’s mum to simulate a connection and evoke an emotional ‘shared’ response. It’s horribly obvious IMO.
The difference between her and Desire's new husband is drastic. Tony looks actual distraught. Terri looks like "don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious"

And if my husband and I ever separated I doubt I would date again for a very long time, at least seriously bc I have a two year old.. one that’s very close to his mama and it’s disgusting but I’d have to worry about jealousy over my own toddler!! The only hope I see at the end of these horrific stories is that, wether justice is handed out on this earth, in this lifetime or not, we ALL must face God’s judgement one day. Nobody can hide from Him and nobody gets a free pass.... I hope Terri and her friend who seems very much to be here accomplice come to Jesus soon. Just let these parents have their boy back, however they’ll be receiving him. God bless!
Jacob exactly!! There’s a couple stories I’ve seen recently where the woman or girl (bc the ones I’m referring to like 3 or 4 of them they were all female) and one of them had a terrible fear of going out at night bc she was afraid of getting abducted, as a teenager she did get abducted right outside her home and was never seen again. Another one was terrified of the dark bc she feared “a stalker she couldn’t see” and sure enough... you guessed it!! Crazy!! I wonder if there’s some kind of lifelong foreboding or intuition at play here... in stories like this!
Mike is such a good heart. When he does a child's case he limits his humor, and tries to be respectful. Especially in a case like this where its ongoing. Good luck to you Kyron. I hope you find your way home.
He should be somber with literally any murder. It’s all awful, sometimes even worse for an adult who fully understands the danger they’re in and the panic they feel
I live less than an hour from where Kyron was last seen and a lot of people in the area kind of collectively agree that Terri either did it herself or is otherwise responsible in a major way. He was only two years younger than me, he will be 19 this September 😩
Being from Oregon what's even sadder is they're still looking for him to this day... we still get updates on the search every once in a while on the news
I cant imagine losing my child and spending years not knowing where they are. Or years suspecting someone of doing them harm and watching that person walk. Im praying that little boy is found and laid to rest, and the case resolved. Painfully sad situation.
I’m telling you do the New Jersey David creato case. The case of a 22 year old father that killed his 3 year old son because his girlfriend didn’t want a boyfriend with a child. So he suffocated him and placed him in a river. This happened less than 7 years ago and he’s getting out in a few years. Even admitted to murder and copped a plea deal. It doesn’t get a lot of attention because the family hired lawyers and tried to shut down information on the son. Please I’m begging you. No one covers it.
Is it David Creato or Brendan Creato? I was searching for that case and the only one that show up was a Brendan Creato. Is that the one you're talking about?
I could never understand people like that. Even though I only had partial custody, my daughter was always part of the deal. What kind of a woman doesn't want a man that's a responsible father, anyway?
The step mom standing there hugging the mom during the press conference makes my blood boil... you have to be 1 evil person to be able to stand up there in front of thousands and hug the mother of your victim especially a few days after doing what you did!! Smh
The location of that school is troubling. And no cameras. And a science fair where anyone can walk in. Made it real easy for Terri or any random predator.
Not sure if it’s an Oregon thing, but yeah usually during science fairs, or other school events aside from student dances, the doors are open and there’s no sign in. We usually have a security officer or two. But public schools are the only ones I have experience with, I’m sure private schools have bigger security budgets. Definitely a shame there is no CCTV, wish schools were able to include that in their budget.
@@Colonelhaydeemew I think, at the very least, the guests should be provided with passes sent through the students. I'm sure there's a lot that can be done for security that doesn't require a big budget.
@@suwaidajalal Totally! I agree for sure, just when there's over a thousand kids, and then all their guests it can be a difficult to keep track of everyone. Skyline is in a very expensive area though where they pay really high property taxes, so the school is well funded, I am very surprised that the school had not included any security in their budget.
Oregon schools became way more strict and security cameras were installed in every school after this. Parents, and the community in general, were outraged at the lack of security. We all know it was Terri though.
@@Amanda-yx5xm she sure did! She went on an interview to say that it was weird to have her ex husband's new wife (that he had been cheating on her with) wrap her arm around her & try to comfort her. Ewww
I was looking at that lineup. Trying to figure who was guilty. I picked her before I even knew the story. Because it was near the beginning of Mike's video. You can just look at someone.
I think it’s disgusting that a grown woman resented a child for ruining her marriage. I think perhaps her third marriage was about to be her third divorce and she was looking for someone besides herself to blame. He seemed like such a sweet kid.
Obviously it’s yet to be proven that she did murder that poor boy but I think you are correct, she is showing signs of narcissism in that it’s everybody’s fault but her own when things go wrong. She has also been arrested twice years later for unrelated crimes so she has form. It’s not looking good for her but if she did do it she will never admit to it, that is not how her mind works.
It happens more often than we like to believe. I barely survived childhood. Beatings were intense from the ‘red-headed step-monster.’ The lies she told to turn people against me were pretty wild but very effective. This case ... it’s impossible for me to be unbiased because of what I endured. Tragic and heartbreaking for someone so small to be treated in such a manner.
The restraint it must take for Kyron's parents not to go after Terry themselves. My heart goes out to them and I hope they find their little boy some day. Poor child deserved so much better.
It's awful that he wasn't sent to live with his mother and the stepfather he liked so much. The father knew his wife was emotionally unstable and I'm sure he knew she didn't particularly like his son - he should have sent that son to the mother. What a damn shame.
Poor little guy. I hope he's found. How can you hate a seven-year-old? Sure, they can be annoying but to actually hate a child? She seems like narcissistic beyotch to me.
Zero_BS_Tolerance she sounds like a paranoid psychopath, she probably imagined the little boy talking about her, imagined him with far more power than he had. Basically she’s nuts and the little boy took the brunt of her insanity.
Remember, it happens a lot. Some step-parents can absolutely loath children from the previous marriage just because they're not their own. It's some bizarre narssistic selfish thinking probably fuelled by jealousy. A lot of abuse and murder of children happens because of it... It's absolutely disgusting 🥺
As its been abt 10 years, if he really was in Forest Park in 2010 the animals wouldve scattered his bones by now... we would be lucky to find anything but its such a large forest its like finding a needle in a needlestack
Okay, so this kid mysteriously disappears eh? Let's watch the video. "He usually rode the school bus." Ok. "But on this particular day, Kyron was driven to school.." Hm ".. by his stepmother." Hmmm
Ross Pearson I generally agree the whole situation looks shady, esp. with her trying to hire a hit man, but science projects are usually bulky and hard to get on and off school buses, so not super surprising he was driven that day.
Vidalion In which case, no one would have used the bus that day. Which isn’t true, and therefore an excuse, not a reason. My worry is how lax the school security measures appear to have been on that day.
My heart goes out to Kyrons mom. My god to just never see your child again. I have a 15 month old and the thought of anything like this legit kills me.
I've seen a lot of cases that are decades old being solved lately. I'm hoping and praying that his is solved soon too. My heart hurts for him, his mother, father, and step-father. My son is a little older than him and idk what I'd do if he were to go missing 💔 may that family, and Kyron, be given justice soon.
I went to school with his cousin and we reconnected years after we graduated. The whole family has always suspected the stepmom did something to him. Sad.
Another fact is that since his stepmom is a fitness buff and could physically toss him into a ravine. Not to upset the family and others involved in the case, just staying the facts as presented. God bless that little boy and pray for his soul to be at rest and happy.
Sadly yes. If an adult body can sometimes fit in suitcases and he is a child... It's just heartbreaking. The mother probably has had to really restrain herself, I feel for her. Loss of a child and not knowing what happened is a level of hell no one should know.
Suspected: Dissapearence of step son. Suspected: hiring hitman to kill ex husband. Suspected: hiring hitman to kill ex boyfriend. Arrested: stealing a firearm. Arrested: stealing a car. Innocent until proven guilty, I get it...but gawd damn.
Another good one ,it does seem she did it and then the hiring of a hit man W T F Why couldn’t they put her in jail at least for a a few yrs for some of the crap she did
I was in the 3rd grade in Beaverton, Oregon the year he went missing. I remember my school and every car had his face plastered on it. We held an assembly to discuss safety and his disappearance. My school started a much more strict attendance/pick up/drop off routine. It weighed heavy on my whole 3rd grade class for the entire rest of the year. You did such a great job explaining his story 🥲

Most bodies are found because people don't take the time to bury it properly. If you have the tools and the time a body simply won't be found. The best friend and muscles the step mom could have prepared a grave prior for that matter. I hope that woman sees Kyron ever time she closed her eyes.
Did you mean "she had access to lime" or "time" because I'm wondering how lime helps you bury a body and keep it covered. Time makes more sense in context but maybe there's something I don't know about lime...? Also I think your theory of events makes a lot of sense.
@@natb9919 people cover bodies with lime to cut down on the smell and I think it may speed up decomposition. If she dug a proper grave and dumped lime on top he wouldn't be found
If I were his mother and had no other children I would... "take" Terri and pry the answers out of her. Physically. Then she could disappear like my son did. If she didn't talk then maybe I would accept the years in jail for ... hurting someone, and let her live but... man Terri is evil. Did you see her smile THREE times in the press conference, DUPERS' DELIGHT
I live in Portland Oregon and have never forgot about Kyron. Terri was basically run out of town. No one believed her...including myself. What I don't understand is, within 90 minutes, Kyron could only be in a small area: Why can't they find him? My hope for the family is they find Kyron. It's been almost 12 years. This still and always will, break my heart.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Cases like this make one’s heart ache; I can’t even imagine how the (innocent) parents and loved ones of these children must feel. It’s an atrocity that no loving caregiver should have to endure. I wish we could figure out a better justice system model. Obv no system can make every person happy; it just feels like ours has fails too often..
Yea the Casey Anthony case pisses me off I know she killed her daughter but shes a free woman cuz they only had circumstantial evidence. You can tell in the interrogation and interviews shes guilty as hell. It's sick
10+ years after Kyron's disappearance we really need that hiker or dog walker now so the family can get closure. Poor lil chap was so proud and excited that day 😢 Heartbreaking
Hikers and dog walkers are the true hero's in missing person cases. And that poor old lady that came across bodies on 2 separate occasions because Stephen Port was leaving them there, should have the government pay for all the therapy she (and her dog) are ever going to need.
Terri totally did it, and then went on to commit more crimes & looks more crazed and disturbed, now, than ever. She’s living with a guilty conscience & got away with murder. I’m praying she is brought to justice! Poor little Kyron 💔
I believe she did it, but I doubt she has a guilty conscience. Some people don't even know what that means because they have never experienced it. They have no empathy for anyone but themselves.
Pretty typical??people going to the gym is now a "gym rat"..lmao this world has become a joke with labels and stereotypes lmao i bet the guys never even seen inside a gym..
I kept thinking that woman looked so familiar. Then as soon as those texts were read, I remembered. There was a Dr. Phil episode about this case. Her story about the pedophile at the store, asking for directions to the nearest school was laughable. I suppose the was also a guy holding a gun, and wearing panty hose over his head, asking where the nearest bank was.
This grabs my heart - just a parents' worst fear and I pray for Kyron and hope some peace can be found but I don't know how anyone lives without their child and not knowing where he is.
Hearing he was scared of not finding his way home and you ending with the words one day you hope he will, hit me right in the feels. Poor little man. I hope he gets found and taken home to his family that love him ❤️
This entire situation is TERRIBLE and as a stepmother myself, I get very upset when people think we can't love our spouse's children like our own. That couldn't be further from the truth for me.
Most true crime is demonitized that's why they set up patreons and need sponsors as I know alot of research goes into each video, Mike & Bailey are my favourites 🙏❤
@@AmyJ739 True, but afaik Mike doesn't have a Patreon account (if he does, point me in the right direction). He does do sponsorships from time to time, but it's incredible how he doesn't rely on them and still makes awesome videos. I respect the hell out of Mike. In contrast, Top 5 Unknowns covers a lot of true crime cases and they go out of their way to carefully write their script to avoid demonetization (example: the victim "lost her life" vs "was murdered"). They upload recycled, poorly researched videos every day with ads inserted every 2 minutes. Their content is horrible and makes me appreciate That Chapter so much more.
I was 15 living in Oregon when this case happened. Me and my friends all thought it was the step mom! Great video. I’ve been curious about what happened. Found this after seeing a missing poster for Kyron today on multiple phone posts today in my town.
"One of his fears was being unable to find his way home and well, hopefully one day he will." That really hit me hard, such a tragic case that could have been avoided :(
respdoc no one is putting any responsibility on the child, I genuinely don’t know where you’re reading that from. the adults around him at the school and his father should have been more careful.
The eyewitness testimonies of three people seeing Kyron leave with Terri should of had a lot more impact on the case. This case seemed mismanaged from the beginning. They tried way too hard to pin her for hiring a hitman instead of trying to collect evidence that she abducted her step son. If she didn't get tipped off they might of been able to collect evidence from her conversations with her friend/possible accomplice.
Those are likely invented "memories" told to the lady writing the book. Note the cops didn't seem to have that information at the outset. That's likely because those people didn't see what they are saying they did. I'm not saying the stepmom didn't leave with the kid; it's most likely she did, given the circumstance. What I am saying is that those people have likely invented memories over time, or warped their memories of events, to suit what the lady writing the book was asking them. Any FBI agent will tell you that human beings are the worst possible witnesses. We warp our memories to suit our own importance to a story, or to fit a narrative some important person (such as an author or celebrity or lawyer) is feeding us. Yes, there are incompetent police forces around, but one that has actual witnesses that saw the perp leaving with the victim and don't arrest that person right away would be exceedingly rare. They didn't because those people did not come forward to them at the time, but to the author of the book, years later. They are simply not credible.
@@jeremysmetana8583 She said it was in the initial police reports. That's not people remembering something years later, that's police not following clear leads or doing their job. Everything about this case points to the stepmother. She dumped his body in the water off that island. She set the whole damned thing up with the doctor's appointment. If it had been the stepfather or father who was last person seen with the kid he would have been arrested and charged immediately.
In just about every true crime case I've ever listened to and researched, police almost always fudge it all up. Either due to incompetence, or worse, on purpose.
@@jeremysmetana8583 the police cannot just arrest someone solely based off of a witness statement. They have to have to have other corroborating evidence in order to build a solid case. Also you are wrong about these witnesses coming forward later. He clearly said that those witness statements came in early on in the case, and that they were brought to light again when the author researched this case for her book.
Yeah, it’s always stuck with me too. He was so afraid of getting lost in the woods and never getting home. He’s probably in those woods. Even if he was dumped there when he was already dead, he’s still lost and hasn’t been taken home. There are some cases that really strike a nerve. In primary school I knew a girl who disappeared, she was found dead about a month later, in a field, strangled with her own underwear. I only spent a little time with her because she was a friend of a friend, but at sleepovers she was always scared she’d “disappear”. We were 10 when she went missing. Her murder has never been officially solved, and it haunts me. So does this case, and the boy in the box, and Tyler Stice
Oh I was just going to post that very thing! It made me sick when Terri leaned her head on kyrons moms shoulder. She looked so guilty in doing that and it was written all over her face!
That mother killed him with the old “he has a doctors appointment” and she took those photos and uploaded them to Facebook intentionally. Too suspicious
Thank you for covering Kyron, I’m an Oregonian originally, and my heart breaks for his mom and dad. Terri needs to be arrested and charged, the family needs to lay that baby to rest. No one else, came in and took him out of the school. We all know who did, and she’s evil.

So basically she walked him into school, set up his project, took photos for an alibi, immediately took him back out because he had to go to his "dr.'s appointment" , scooped her friend and ...well...yeah
The police have exonerating evidence that they have never released to the public. I believe she is innocent. Someone on reddit did a deep dive in depth analysis on the whole case and hD a very convincing argument. There was no time for her to hurt him and dispose of his body. The cops tracked her phone and every move. They tried over and over to prove it was her and failed. They know it wasn't her. He would have been found. Terry raised Kyron from an infant. He wasn't some random step kid. She had NO MOTIVE either. Think of Leticia Stauch. The way she commited that crime. This would have ended up the same way. Terry didnt try to trick phone gps or leave it at home. I could go on and on

She blamed him for her own son being kicked out by Kain.....and come on, just because she "helped raise him" that doesn't mean shit!!! There was a case in KY that's similar to this one, where a stepmother and her best friend killed her stepson. She didn't want her husband's affection split between his son from a previous marriage and her daughter, so they picked him up from school, strangled him in the car, then dumped his body. I lived in Ky then and Oregon now, and have always believed Terri and her best friend did the exact same thing, for the exact same reason.

Interesting how she was emailing her friend saying that she didn't like Kyron, and yet she decided to take pictures of him with his science project and upload them to Facebook. Almost as though she thought she might need proof that she dropped him off at school...

NOPE there's no way the whole school marked him absent and he was there. He never went to class. She left with him.
I can’t even think of another viable option

I still follow the Facebook page, since 2010
They're everywhere still. People still bring it up and talk about how sketchy Terri was behaving
Damn that is sad.
@@LittleJessie56 yeah, I never trusted her...
Where was he
I was in a clothes shop the other day and because I am in a wheelchair and down low I saw a child hiding under a clothes rack.
Amazing to think this case would’ve been solved if there were just cameras in the school/parking lot like there are all over the place today
I think about that often..
that pisses me off about this case
@@jasonwilliams5550 haha I know me too. Think about how many cases could be solved if security cameras were around just one or two years earlier.
It would also have been solved if the person that picks the kid up has to show an ID and sign it out.
What is that for a school when someone getting in and just taking a kid without getting asked if that is legit is even possible?
I am not hysteric, but my kid wouldn't go to a school like that.
@@lirrtrainwreck haha?
As a local to this case, it just utterly baffles me as to how this case was not solved. There was so much going for the case, so many breadcrumbs and clues to follow, and there is a very clear suspect in this case, yet almost zero movement has been made (at least as far as the public knows) in all of that time. It blows my mind. Where the hell is Kyron? Where is he, Terri? Where is he??
Yep. It still amazes me that it hasn’t been solved. :(
Yes! It always blew my mind that they could never find him.
I'm a local as well, and this was so sad when it took place. For a full year that had Kyron on the news every day. Never to be found or seen.
Maybe Terri blew the detectives???
Scott N I don’t know if they searched any other forests other than forest park, but there’s a lot of forest and mountains to the west of the area. Not even 40 minutes out and you could pull off to a trailhead, go off trail a ways and dump a body there. It would never be found.
I love how Mike cracked up reading those texts. He's usually so calm, even when he's making jokes, but he just could not hold that in.

@@theEumenides This is true, and yet, I think withholding full judgement until or unless there is enough actual, tangible evidence, is the wise thing to do.

I kept rewinding and listening again to make sure I heard it correctly. I couldn't believe she was blaming the kid.
If your on your third marriage, you really need to look at yourself and your choices
It happens more often than we like to believe. I barely survived childhood. Beatings were intense from the ‘red-headed step-monster.’ The lies she told to turn people against me were pretty wild but very effective. It's crazy how many That Chapter cases I've seen where they've locked people up on alot less evidence.
@@hunterbiden7391 Right, it's not completely obvious the step mom is guilty.
Really? I wonder why the police didn't impound and search her car. Could it be that there were actually no witnesses? I've never heard them named.
KYRON’s own busdriver was one of the adult witnesses!!!!
“Men don’t approach me because they know I can outbench them”
“I’ve never dated anyone I can bench their weight”

I kept thinking that woman looked so familiar. Then as soon as those texts were read, I remembered. There was a Dr. Phil episode about this case.
Her story about the pedophile at the store, asking for directions to the nearest school was laughable. I suppose the was also a guy holding a gun, and wearing panty hose over his head, asking where the nearest bank was.
Rex Stetson lol! Right?! What a joke
I hope he gets found and taken home to his family that love him ❤️
The only mystery is how Terri has gotten away with it for so long.
Ikr how?
This little boy needs to be brought home where ever he may be...
Tick Tock TERRi… WHERE IS KYRON??!!
she’s the best suspect but still how do you bury a body in 90 minutes?
@@thixiemattel pre dug hole
This entire situation is TERRIBLE and as a stepmother myself, I get very upset when people think we can't love our spouse's children like our own. That couldn't be further from the truth for me.
You may get very upset but this is the general truth..
I appreciate how this guy clearly doesn't give a single crap about being demonitized.
@@gingerpunk2129 he does check out his description on this video 👍😁
@@AmyJ739 Oh cool, thank you!
UA-cam didn't have money at the beginning. People post videos to inform our simply to entertain. Not everyone is about greed.
I was 15 living in Oregon when this case happened. Me and my friends all thought it was the step mom! Great video. I’ve been curious about what happened. Found this after seeing a missing poster for Kyron today on multiple phone posts today in my town.
"One of his fears was being unable to find his way home and well, hopefully one day he will." That really hit me hard, such a tragic case that could have been avoided :(
Ok ? How does a small child know beforehand and then "avoid" getting killed by a step parent ?
respdoc no one is putting any responsibility on the child, I genuinely don’t know where you’re reading that from. the adults around him at the school and his father should have been more careful.
The bus driver said at the beginning that he didn't get off the bus. Then for a book he comes up to say he saw her with him. Gee, did he get paid?
This case has always haunted me. I feel like the Stepmother got away with murder. I will never forget Kyron💔
Same I think about him often ❤️😞
That poor mother. She looks so exhausted and defeated. I can't imagine what nightmare she lives through every day
What made me cringe was seeing Terri's arm wrapped around Kyron's mum.
I felt nauseous seeing that and the way she leaned in to say something to her.
MONSTER!!!
ugh
Did you catch Desiree's body language on that ?? It was so obviously fake on Terri's part
Agreed. This was premeditated murder.
Step mother
I agree. she must have left with him before he supposedly went into math class but wouldn't someone or s camera catch this?
@@Dec15baby og mothers can do the same...,

This case hits home. Kyron had so much potential, and it was senselessly stolen from him. I hope Kyron finally finds his way home.
Thank you for covering Kyron, I’m an Oregonian originally, and my heart breaks for his mom and dad. Terri needs to be arrested and charged, the family needs to lay that baby to rest.
No one else, came in and took him out of the school. We all know who did, and she’s evil.
The FBI and at least one professional profiler don't know anything of the kind, and neither do you.
What an unsatisfying ending, must be horrible for the parents to never get any closure.
it's on-going, so maybe she'll fess up sooner or later.
@@ashkebora7262 If you're referring to "Terri" I doubt she'd admit to anything by this point, it's been just over 10 years now and no body or even a trace have even come up from poor Kyron.
Ikr and what is even worse, they know Terry did it but they can not prove it. I hope she will pay for what she had done to that little, innocent boy.
What's worst is that the criminal is still walking freely and with a clear conscious. I hate people like this who don't feel a thing.
@@ashkebora7262 dount it but maybe a death bed confession. She moved, tried changing her name, wouldn't cooperate etc. She seems pure evil and just wanted to put this behind her.
I am obsessed with true crime but usually skip over the cases with little kids but on your channel I can watch as you tell everything with such compassion, empathy and respect for the victims. Your channel is my absolute favourite!!
My heart breaks for him & his biological mom. This is unbelievable. I hope they solve his case ASAP. Rip
I could go on and on
@@pinkpugginz also believe she's innocent, not the best human being but have watched allot of documentaries of this and is kind of impossible for her to have killed him and disapeared the body.
@@pinkpugginz ITA. There's a rush to judgment because people want *someone* to pay. But the time line doesn't add up to her doing it. The police let people believe she's under suspicion because they effed up.
pinkpugginz What about Terri telling the teacher he had a Dr's appt that day when he actually DID NOT?? Why'd she set that lie up?? To allay suspicion in the morning (so that teacher0s would not be alarmed that he was gone all of a sudden!!)
Did you conveniently forget that Terri talked to at least one other person about HATING Kyron??
She blamed him for her own son being kicked out by Kain.....and come on, just because she "helped raise him" that doesn't mean shit!!! It's more often than not someone close to a murder victim who kills them!!
and on and on. I think within the next decade something will happen to give the investigators enough evidence to charge the crazy bitch
@@pinkpugginz Yeah, I don't think she did it either. I do wonder who did though, as he loved school and was excited about his science project, he'd not leave willingly.
As she stands there with her arm around the mother attempting to look upset (and failing to do so) holding *bone dry* tissues for the invisible tears shes shedding 😒

@danibauer OMG thank you for posting this comment..I was sittting here trying to figure out why I remembered the stepmom and her friend being charged and convicted of his murder then I ran across your comment...So strange how similar the two cases are...And so sad.
What’s the name of this other case? I’d love to do some more research
@@therealsamsclub2325 Gosh I'm not sure. It's been about 20 years since it happened. I know they strangled him. The friend went in and checked the kid out from school. I think she was in a disguise. I don't remember if the stepmother was pregnant or had already had the baby. But I think she was preggers. You'd have to Google it.

Exactly that poor baby must have been screaming too! Ugh and the germs.

Kyron's murdering stepmother
Leg day waits for no one.
Terri hugging Kyron’s mom as his stepdad is speaking at the press conference... disgusting.
Even if I knew nothing about the case, that would still look wrong. There was something very readable in how she was working to look like she's comforting, rather than genuinely doing it.
I thought that hugging/leaning into the mom was a bit awkward.. mom didn’t exactly hug back
Yeah Desiree said she actually pulled away because she just knew Terri did something to him
That was weird - I spotted that
I just hope, that Kyron did not suffer & that he has peace, wherever he may be & that he is found to give his family some closure. 💜 Bless them all. 💜
This baby didn't deserve any of this I still hope and pray that they find him and the family gets the closure and justice they deserve.
